Love your content as always (when I get a chance to catch up or watch it). Your energy, the music and beautiful filming- it’s always uplifting, peaceful and enjoyable!! I try to catch your IG stories when I can. Much love from NJ girl here- looks like you guys are settling in and feeling it down there. Enjoy and good luck in all you and your family do down there. The vibes suit ya well!!
Wow Jennifer! You have simply made my entire day 🥰. Thank you so much for your kind words and for your continued support, it truly means the world. We love it here so much but also missing NJ. How was the multiple snow days for you?
It was a VERY snowy Feb! My 3 & 5 yr old loved it, but now we’re beyond ready for spring and summer! Putting our focus on less social media and more outside time, moving our bodies (getting healthier for a longer life with our fam) and self positivity care! Your kind words and affirmations you put out into the world spreads the love and kindness! 💗💗.
@@jenniferfrancisco3754 I totally can relate to less social media. That has helped us get our move orchestrated without the extra focus on social. The children will love all the outdoor play for sure ☺️ - thank you again for the kind words as I hope to remind people that they are enough and that their journeys however rocky they may be were all intended to strengthen 🖤
I really enjoyed watching your resort experience! I’m glad you were able to start your South Carolina journey with rest and relaxation. The scenery looks so beautiful 😍
Heyyyy sis! I’m really loving the south now 😆 such amazing mix of cultures and vibes and it reminds me of the Caribbean. Thanks for your support always
My family and I just came back from there. I’d say there weren’t many people that look like us but we had no issues. It is a beautiful please. People are very friendly and helpful to anybody.
thank you so much for tuning in Akosua (Thats my best friends name as well ) I agree that everyone is generally friendly, glad you had an amazing stay :-)
Our moving company was Nelson Westerberg and I believe they scheduled the cars to be moved through a third party contractor. I didn’t get that company’s name.
Hi there, we stayed at the Boardwalk Inn on the second floor facing the pool ~ I can’t recall the room number. We didn’t hear the construction at all. However, I do believe construction is over now.
We were considering Isle de Palm for Spring break and saw a nice air Bnb in Mount Pleasant. Did you get welcoming vibes in the local area (at restaurants etc)? It’s utterly ridiculous how the gym employee questioned your husband like that smh.
I will say the place is absolutely beautiful! However, I have been on edge since moving here with my own fears of “the south” - aside from the gym employee and one other incident with a “Karen”at our new place everyone has been super welcoming with true southern hospitality.
I’m from Charleston and in some areas like wild dunes and isles of palms you will experience some racism because the ofay wonder who you are and what you were doing at a place like this cause you look like you can’t afford it. Coming not only down South but up north whereas there’s more racism than ever. They probably thought they were there for janitorial services 😂
We go to Wild Dunes a lot but rent through a company other than Wild Dunes. I just want to clarify that we get questioned too (we are white) if we try to use any of the Wild Dunes facilities because they are not available to people who rent through other facilities. They had an ice cream party for kids so I took my small children. They basically harassed us for being there because we didn’t rent through Wild Dunes. Their questioning is very unfriendly and comes off very rude, especially, I’m sure, to people of color. They need a better system, like a wrist band or something. They shouldn’t confront anyone or make any assumptions about who they rented through.
Leisa thank you so much for sharing that insight it definitely helps us not feel isolated. I guess the more experiences we hear of, the more we realize we are not alone in the things we face or that they truly weren't intended to be negative or racially derived. Thanks a bunch for watching :-)

Hello, can you share which car transport service you used?
Our moving company was Nelson Westerberg and I believe they scheduled the cars to be moved through a third party contractor. I didn’t get that company’s name.
Marq is like eyyy that’s a big tune what they know about that 😂
Which one? 😆 Lighter?
Can you tell me what area and room you were in ? was there lots of construction noise?

It’s not a race thing it’s people using facilities or activities they didn’t pay for.
Beautiful resort, you guys are definitely getting that luxury Caribbean life you’ve always wanted
I’m telling you! Just wait until you see it y’all gonna be coming to live 😃
