The story of me playing wow. My mom and brother played a lot and I asked for an account for my birthday and they actually got 18 months for me and it was the end of WoD like 18 days before legion. I loved so much, I remember boosting a level 100 undead rogue and having that cannonball ability with outlaw rogue where the cannons rain from the sky that was my fav ability. Then the new expansion came out and me and my brother would play everyday gearing with dungeon finder and random battlegrounds and of course world quests lol. Then came where I learned about LFR. My little laptop wasnt good enough to run raids so I got a gaming laptop for Christmas and I was so happy because I got the grinning reaver from my brother too. First thing I did was get my undead rogue to lvl 110 and do the first wing of LFR killing the fat corrupted dude and my game ran 20x better than my old laptop and I was so happy. That's just what this song brought me back to. I would love to hear your guys stories of WoW when you started!
playing this the first time, the zones, the leveling and everything was pretty lit. Too bad that for endgame content you just spended 95% in your garrison or logged out, waiting for your followers to return from the adventures YOU should be having out there
3:40 and onward brings such intense nostalgia to the parts of WOD that I loved like farming for the legendary ring and chilling with khadgar. Not many people liked this expac but I remember enjoying it and the only thing I disliked was the actual lack of content since I wanted more and more
This song... THIS SONG, is the most listened song in my iTunes with over 700 times. I have to admit, this expansion has one of the best and most epic soundtracks of all WoW and to be fair, I really liked the expansion and it's lore / storyline. Don't like that it gets so much hate :(
Personally I really love the brief melody at 3:10. I know this features a lot in Shadowmoon Valley in the game, and i really love it - but after an hour of faffing trying to extract the track from the game files - i gave up
Looking back I would 100% take WoD over anything that came after. WoD, for all its flaws, still felt like a MMORPG. Ever since Legion they've turned the game into some Frankenstein Diablo hybrid game with M+ and the focus on e-sports.
I don’t really understand this comment. WoW has always been about raising and dungeon running. They’ve simply focused in on that experience and vastly improved it. Even FF14 has a plethora of instances content, so what’s the difference?
@Apanamae basically what he's saying is that WoD was the last expansion that didn't have borrowed power like artifacts, azerite necklace peice, covenants, dragonriding, Legion basically made the game alot like diablo and changed the entire gameplay aspect completely with mythic+, wow really hasent been the same since then.
WoD definitely killed the last remnant of what made MMO an MMO, which is questing in the open world with random other players. At least what Legion and after did was just giving the remaining players what they wanted, engaging and challenging content for smaller groups outside of raiding, something WoD failed to provide. Don't rewrite history, M+ didn't kill MMO, garrisons and push towards solo leveling did. Still, WoD had banger soundtracks.
For me WoD was a good expansion not great but good. I really liked the setting of old Dreanor with Nagrand, Frostfire and the beautiful landscapes. Story was good, also the raids (BRF). But it could have been so much better if they wouldn´t have put so many ideas in the dumpster and rushed it. Would have been real nice with more background of the ogres, the Shatrath raid, the Nestherstorm area but in Dreanor style, etc. It had the potential for the best expansion imo. But in shadowlands we can level all the way up there, which can be nice and fast (treasures and bonus objectives).
This song makes me feel like i'm supposed to do so much more than clean the house.
@@Virtuscapes Yeah, it was for me too before I turned my house into 12,000 battle axes.
10:52 - 12:00 - pure nostalgia!!!
furiousfluffypanda Where does it come from? I adore this part!
+Oscar Isa it sounds like human theme
Yes, from Warcraft III !
Thanks all!
+Oscar Isa Stop play with my feelings!! :'( *man tears*
Time Traveler: moves a chair
This theme: starts playing

The expansion didn't age well, but I remember creating many, many characters to this music. For that alone, it holds a fond place in my heart.
Same. The expansion sucked, but the music was beautiful.
WOD may have been a dumpster fire, but BFA is the whole landfill.
playing this the first time, the zones, the leveling and everything was pretty lit.

@@winnieelegante6901 true. This was my last wow expansion. I played for 3 weeks then never touched the game again
@@cursedchannel133 and Shadowlands is another landfill
7:30 is where the magic begins. What an incredible portion of the soundtrack.
My favourite bit as well. Incredible, breathtaking and moving.
6:30 Best part ever.

The orc chanting at 1:45 always gets me. Love it.
8:47 THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN THIS
yes there is and it starts at 10:52
@@swiggityswag6748 i gotchu there. nothing beats THAT.
10:55 Black Rock and Roll, anyone?
Ono agreed
adolfo carrion finally!
lol that part was originally from the humans in wc3. though it's not like that. they changed a few things...
wow amazing you can google.
goosebumps
That moment when the Human Theme from WC3 kicks in the final part showing the Alliance reacting hard.
To me it's definitely the part that begins at 1:00. This is the soundtrack for challenging gods and overthrowing empires.
10:45-11:55 is fucking amazing.
If there's at least one thing that caught my attention and drew me in to playing wow, it was definitely the music.
Yeah me 2
+Jessica Martin I saw that i could play as an elf and have a dragon mount so i started lol.
6:42 obvious best part. WE WILL NEVER BE SLAVES!
They became slaves again. So much for that plan :>)
Kilrogg Deadeye: But we will be.
One of the best soundtrack of the game

Sammeeeee
Hirumandex proved it was a good expansion
It sounds so menacing. especially those horns at the beginning, sounds like the Hordes battlehorn or whatever the heck. I love it though.
This is the most epic theme ever.
Dude, the day I got Siege of Worlds for the Citadel music player. I stood afk or crafting and selling in AH from there.
The best part for me is 0:00 - 12:05
Agreed XD
very original comment.
Oh my god, this track from 7:40 becomes fucking Shadow of the Colossus, I got so much goosebumps!
05:00-05:45 omggg amazing....
+Chris Hock Man, do you know if there exists a single song based on this part????? Is the most amazing tune I have ever heard in my life, I LOVE IT...
+symphonicmind i dont think there is, but you can cut that part from this song
+symphonicmind there is one, and it is called A Hero's Sacrifice. Happy listening ^^
8:26 Magical
10:45 best part! 😊
that part was from warcraft 3, so epic
Listened with a 400W subwoofer .... A M A Z I N G. Walls Shaking
These goosebumps! Remered when fought the Horde in Ashran. Long Life for the Alliance.
The song at 8:04 is Malach by Eímear Noone
10:52 when you and your guild are riding together to kill the 2-3 horde players harassing lowbies in a questing area
You're the lowbies if you need a guild to kill 2-3 players lol
alliance players please xD
Alliance first.
When your horde buddies are gang banging a draenai priest
The second guy on the right of Grom looks like hes jamming out
That's Gul'dan I believe. The one in between kilrogg and nerzhul. Second from from on the right.
Kilrogg slamming that bass like hitting to some alliance pimps.
7:30 to 8:45 thats why everyone is here
I enjoyed this expansion.
Best lore, best music, best expansion
one of my favorite wow tracks, its basically a remastered version of the original wow theme
The expension may be bad but music never!
Grommash Hellscream,Durotan,Kargath Bladefist,Dal'rend Blackhand,Ner'zul ,Kilrogg Deadeye and... Gul'dan
@6:41 best moment ever

Does the part 0:00 - 3:52 has its own soundtrack?
They should use this track for the upcoming movie

4:59 a 5:46 La mejor parte *-*
9:42 is where its at
8:48 and on sounds alot like the theme from Dances With Wolves
FOR HELLSCREAM
thrall is more
+luc Lisboa #contenteTV I never heard any orc screaming for Thrall but everyone screams for Hellscream or for Doomhammer
they did yell "Thrall's balls!" in Vashjir XD
If there is any one thing WoD did right, it was the soundtrack. God those horns....
best moment for me 3.10
It´s a fucking joke Blizzard! The best part at all start by 08:05 but they do not release it as single track! LOL...
It's actually in the game files but I honestly can't remember it's name.
Samdecahedron
Hm, u get it later maybe? Anyway, they should release that wonderfull melody! :/
Angelus Mortus Warlords of Draenor - Malach ;)
Florian Levesque Cheers, was really struggling to find the damn thing.
Samdecahedron
Really, thx dude! :) I played 50 files @ MMO-Champion but I dont get it.:D "Malach" sounds a bit weak. 08:05 gives tons of feelings.^^
If WoD had one thing go right, it was the OST
6:38 best of best
