I play the loyalist successor chapter the Knights of the Raven. My theory and backstory is that they were formed from a very select group after the Heresy, that of the few remaining Terran born loyalist Ravenguard who lived through the attack on gate 41, the dropsite massacre, and the subsequent scattering of the Legion, and who weren't members of the warrior lodges. This group I figure may have been slighty less than 1000 warriors, and was gladly hived off as a separate chapter, due to their differences with their primogenitor. The Knights eschew stealth, and instead wear brightly polished silver battle plate and crusader pattern helms. They are brutally pragmatic and favour orbital drop assaults.

I've been giving my energy for the last year and a half... 13 years idk. I've tried to tie each and every group into what's up. The energy as I see it will be wherever they've placed it. Everywhere but where it should be. In real life, it worries me
If only Corvus didn’t sacrifice his full gene stock of Terran raven guard he would have had enough genetic material to save his astartes. But Horus really got into his mind.
The main problem was the warrior lodges which the terran born marines held. They were generally more loyal to Horus rather than their primarch. The destruction of these lodges essentially prevented the raven guard descending into civil war. Those corax believed would follow the Warmaster over himself would be scattered to the far flung reaches in the stars, again diminishing the likelihood of internal strife. At Gate 42, the cost was always going to be steep, and as Baldermort says, corax bent tragedy to purpose.
This might be my favorite video, Corax is so underrated!

Everyone else screams "For the EMPRAH" and charges at bunkers to hit them with a sword.
Uhm... in popular game representation, maybe....Ultramarines, Iron Fists, Thousand Sons, White Scars, Salamanders....
really enjoyed this video
The Raven Guard is my favorite legion
Another great video
I've been giving my energy for the last year and a half... 13 years idk. I've tried to tie each and every group into what's up. The energy as I see it will be wherever they've placed it. Everywhere but where it should be. In real life, it worries me
30:53 does anyone know of the background music?
Cheers fella. Great vid
Awesome. Loving the content.
I love me some raven guard! But don’t tell my salamander either!
Always remember that Tau kicked their assess
All videos are great! Definitely a new fen
We strike in the shadows!
