@Leguim1 I had a shirt that said this when I was a kid in Alaska, my mom bought it for my dad as a joke and it was a hand-me-down to me when I got a little older.
Ngl, my room has definitely been worse than that unfinished basement. There wasn't even a valley between the piles to walk through, there were just parts of it you could step on and jump from one thing to another to end up at the other end. The bed was furthest from the door, so I had to do that a lot. And of course, no one else could do it because even I sometimes broke something by stepping on the wrong thing and that always hurt my soul. I did have painted/wallpapered walls, but some of them did have pretty heavy black mold where I had to rip it off and expose the wall. I've been working on it though and donated 15 full size trash bags of clothes last year, as well as about a hundred plushies from my childhood and hundreds of books. I also put some of the items in storage and got rid of multiple trash bags full of actual trash, including stuff I thought I could never let go of. I have to admit, there might still be a half filled and given up on trash bag under one of the piles and I still only have good standing space i.e. to change clothes in directly by the door where it opens, but I also managed to get a new bed that's double the size of the old one and has significantly improved my quality of life (even the cat wants to sleep here now!) and get rid of multiple huge furniture items that weren't serving me. Still a long way to go until I could have someone over or submit on room reviews, but there is progress, even if it's taken me this long. Edit: Also no FunkoPops, so I'm already winning.

But the word Pence is actually just supposed to be the plural word for penny like goose becomes geese, but since we're 'Murican and gotta do things our own way we say, "Pence? Nah, thems a bunch a pennies! Yee haw!" In short, I get why Mouse didn't know "pence" was "penny" because its not "penny", "pence" is "pennies" and PR is, unfortunately, under the influence of the US.
Here in the States I consider Boxing day a day where you get to exchange your gifts for something else or replace an item of clothing for if size of the item is too big or too small for the proper size. Yeah HDTVs back 15-20 years ago cost an arm and a leg compared to now a days.

But funnily enough I agree that the colour for winter should be white, except the seasons as depicted are very north hemisphere centric. Christmas should be red and green as that’s what we associate with Christmas trees and Christmas decorations the most. Connor conflates Christmas with Winter but the Aussies, South African’s Argentinians & Chileans etc are in the middle of summer then. Connor’s being (obviously tongue in cheek and joking but still) super prejudiced that southern hemisphere peoples are just wrong. But the decorations will still be the same colours. Plus mouse is right about new years, party colours. And spring, pastel colours, especially yellow or pink because we associate spring with blossoms.
