As I mentioned in the comments of the first half of this speedrun, it is worth nothing that I'd already completed the story along with a few other minor bits of the Seasons of the Dragons achievement prior to beginning this run, but if you're gunning for the legendary amulet too it's fairly likely that you've achieved a little natural progression anyway! Any extra tips and tricks to save time clearing this set of achievements?
Sandswept Isles is not too memorable in terms of story or metas, but they tried so many cool things in the open world that I hope they get to utilize again.
Once upon a time, I was grinding PvP to get Transcendence. One particular day ended that journey for me, when I kept getting matched with someone that got really salty that I was not as good as the competition, and he started telling our teams that I was about to die a lot and that we were going to lose because of me. This was several years ago, and that killed my motivation to play PvP ever again; the last Decade of the Dragons achievement I need for the cape is 10 PvP matches. So, thank you, Anet for putting in a PvE option for Legendary Amulet! I'm so grateful that I have almost no reason to go confront my PTSD.
Not sure if it helps to know, but they were definitely sad, insecure, and not actually very good. I'm all too familiar with each brand of toxic player after spending a few thousand hours in pvp. It's unfortunate a few people like that can ruin the experience for so many.
I wonder, how can you function in a society if you're so mentally weak? Do you stay home all day? Never go out to work ecc? This is an actual question, no hate
One of the best times I ever had in this game was finishing off a Vision achievement by starting and commanding a Thunderhead Oil Floes meta with nothing but a mentor tag, the experience of having run it one time before that, and with only a single hand because I had a sleeping newborn in my lap. XD
Was fun to watch you Teapot. However, lets be fair that few other people would have an entourage helping each and every event and few would have the knowledge to be this efficient (minus the Forging Steel hiccup). I hope people don’t go into this process thinking it will be this fast/easy. Some maps and their achievements can feel pretty rough or nearly impossible because of lack of people for Champion fighting or meta-completion. I play with my significant other and that helped a lot cause usually the two of us can tackle any Champion. I’ve heard people recommend when having trouble with adequate player count, doing the required meta’s when it’s one of the dailies.
If you tag up you'll get a result surprisingly similar to me, most of it is soloable anyway tbh. And yeah the surefire way is to do it during the daily rotation. As for the knowledge, well that's the point of the series!
@@MightyTeapot True. When I sucked it up and finally bought my catmander tag, getting unpopulated content done got easier. Still feels a little awkward to flag up for things you’ve never done or only done a couple times. But surprisingly the content is still 99% of the time successful. I mostly agree with you Teapot, but I still feel people shouldn’t be discouraged if it takes them twice as long.
It doesn't matter though, I'm always thinking in account value which is why I said it's worth 170g ish. It's always better to think in account value because this is the way the game works. You could always make a legendary and then sell it too if you really want the gold.
Honestly the zero to hero has lost touch with MT running around as a commander speed running things. I just completed this achievement and it was not nearly as easy. Ah well was fun watching while it lasted
How long do you think this same challenge would take you if you hadn’t already done the story and some of the achievements? Also no squad helping you lol. Just the story alone with all the RP talking and going from s2 all the way through Icebrood is a nice chunk of time.
Probably doable in about 30 hours or so totally from scratch. Squad was kinda irrelevant tbh, people still do all the content especially S4, would have been a very mild slowdown of maybe an extra 2 hours.
I just can't get thunderhead peaks completed....been trying for two weeks now but everytime I try to do the oil floes meta, it fails.....never even get to the boss....does no one play this meta anymore??
Did ArenaNet remove "End Conjecture" so "Season of the Dragons" cannot be completed? i really don't want to watch both super long video's to see if MAYBE there's something i didn't do that i somehow missed to not have "End Conjecture" on the list. i have 23/24 done and "End Conjecture" is not on the list. Hope you can tell, i'm feeling a bit wonky after having gone through all that content only to have a mail that's just "Thank you for doing icebrood saga" with an ascended assesory. No amulet. Is there something i need to do for "End Conjecture" to be on the list? i still had to talk to Taimi and Gorrik and do the whole Aetherblade ship jumping thing with "Ankka's" betrayal. But again, no amulet and only 23/24 on the list.
Nice Work, is there a reason you didn't start Aurora and Vision before the challenge? If I remember correctly there is a good amount of overlap in the achievements.
There definitely is but I think he just wanted to get it all done. You can be more efficient but it also requires more planning. Some steps also need to be done multiple times regardless because certain collections won’t be unlock yet (for example chalice of tears is needed to unlock Aurora and also needed to be done again as it’s own step)
My biggest gripe trying to get this is being online at the "wrong" time. With the meta timers, it is almost always without fail the one I look up to do just finished and the meta won't be up again for another 2 hours!

MAJOR KEY: start aurora before you do this…I ended up having to go back and do so much of the same shit again
@@reverie9358 Interesting thanks Reverie!!!
Worth nothing
Gunning
Do aurora and vision WHILE you do the Return To achievements.
1:08:23 yep when eod came out and i did vison of The past, i was like
"Well done Arena net, almorra was a willbender even before we knew it"
Because before eod came out, we fougth almorra, and i was like
"That are some cool skills that almorra is doing" but She was already a willbender

Best thing to do is just mute them, play your game, enjoy pvp if you can. Some builds give better results than others.

after a hard time at work, i came home with teapots new video, ahhh what a life indeed
I did the achievement collection for the legendary spear and i thought it was fun. Had to hunt down some sharks!
You love to see it. Congrats! 🎉
Bro really went and got some legendary

i like how you say no real world money involed but you have all the expansions which take real world money
Btw u can’t sell precursor from that achiv, it’s account bound unfrotunately
Yep and i think, i think when you The Legendary probalby is acount bound to?

I'll likely sit on a map for 10 hours just waiting for someone to help with one bounty.
Tag up!

yess lets go!:)
Did you complete wayfarer's henge before starting this? As i remember i had to finish that before being able to move on

I'm trying to get back into GW2 at, and I was wondering what that dps meter was in the bottom left was called?
that's arcdps, there's a bunch of guides on setting it up if you need them
craft nevermore 😈it nearly cost me my sanity!
It’s the only 2nd gen with collection I still need but yea those collections will test your sanity. HOPE was a nightmare

I want to make a legendary amulett but i need a group :(
Magrest is so cringe lmao
Clickbait title, clickbait face, takes at least 1200 hours, I wont watch the vod
that feel when he has 1/3 of the hours played as me and 100 more mastery level 🥹🥹
Its kind of aggravating hearing you complain about the voice acting and story of the story, try to slow down once in a while.
