Since you know that the notches cut into the cane on the shaft just below the crook will cause damage to the hand of the person using it, why do you make/sell canes that have that...feature? It is unlikely that I will be wearing a glove on my hand when I need the cane to defend myself.
Thank you for commenting Paladin! What you are referring to are the first set of grips on certain models of ACSD Canes, none of which cut or damage the user's hand in any way. What does have the potential to cut and do damage to an opponent are the serrations on the shaft and the Horn on ACSD self defense models. These are separate from grips. The use of gloves in ACSD Canin' has been popularized by Joe Robaina who wears one on his right hand to prevent callousing from the friction of spinning and handling which happens with and without Cane grips.
