It’s not about any conspiracy, no consistency are they are allowed to get away with these decisions that cost these clubs that have worked to play these matches a point or even three. Secondly, the ”VAR” officials just decide to tag along with whatever the ref blows 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Arteta is only one moaning about decisions but any fan Arsenal or not would see Michael Oliver has giving a silly number of cards to arsenal compared to a Man City.
People like Henry are the reason why things are rotten in football. He admitted he is M Oliver's supporter. So he will, Henry, choose to ignore the reality. Gutless person.
MLS gets a red and Gomes gets a yellow for his worse tackle. Conspiracy is too strong a word but after seeing Cootes video about Klopp of course these refs have bias toward certain teams. Every body does so why would refs be any different?
What about two yellow cards for a single action against Martinelli two years ago? Who was the referee? Michael Oiver... I'm an Arsenal fan and I don't believe there is a PGMOL conspiracy against Arsenal, but I do believe Michael Oliver has something unexplained against Arsenal. If PGMOL were competent, then a referee like Oliver would have to answer for his consistent bad decisions against Arsenal. I was born in a country under dictatorship for a long time and I can tell you that even junior members of the government would commit atrocities because they would hide and not answer to anyone because the whole country is under dictatorship. This is how Oliver can avoid answering for his controversial decisions against Arsenal because the PGMOL is a complete mess. I would ask you to make a chart of Arsenal games refereed by Michael Oliver to see the extent of the controversial decisions that he has made against Arteta's Arsenal. Very recently a ref was sacked for saying how he feels about Klop behind closed doors. Michael Oliver is not different. Are we still not learning?
He won't come out with any criticism, over the whole season how many times do they say he got it wrong. All clubs should pay a fee and get quality ref's in that do champions league games you barely notice them in the game unfortunately current ref's in the premier league adore the limelight.
Doku on Macallister , ødegaard handball , Luiz diaz onside goal against tottenham. I think its ALOT of mistakes . Everyone lauged when it happend to Liverpool. Now that other clubs get referee mistakes Its the end of the world ?
Liverpool fans always try and make things about them, this ain’t even about us it’s just that it’s happened to us again. The point is the refereeing in this country is a joke as a whole
Arsenal fan but I def agree with all of those calls (including Ode). All displays of incompetence, and feels like they always managed to favour one club. Man City. Oliver is on their books
It's bias against Arsenal, not a conspiracy. The problem with Arsenal is the media's negativity bias against Arsenal. Arsenal are 2nd and 6 points behind Liverpool and every game refers to a crisis with players amd manager getting abused. Arsenal have a crisis after every draw and dropped points. It's psychological from the referees. Referees need to be coached on their bias and are currently too arrogant to stand by their decision making.
It's not a conspiracy, but it's always against Arsenal. "I don't buy that" ... why not? When the bad decisions, and unique bad decisions that you will never see again, are always against one team by one ref, why is it not prudent to investigate it? In any other walk of life you would.
Its a conspiracy because no one else gets players sent off the way arsenal do. the refs don't book every player for kicking the ball away, red for a hard challenge are ignored, if arsenal do anything its usually "oh ive not seen that before" and you rarely see it again.End of the Liverpool match vs Brentford, Nunez just scores a brace and right on the last second goes in like Gomes yesterday and gets nothing. When are city and Liverpool players booked for a tactical foul? when is every arsenal tackle slowed down in slow motion but no one else is? when was th last city of Liverpool player booked for kicking the ball away. Last season it was "we don't want to interfere in the game and send people off" now its a free for all with Arsenal.
Absolute disgrace of a decision , every poor refereeing and for V.A.R and as for the refereeing union to roll out these excuses for it is more of a disgrace / disappointment, instead of acknowledging the error they look for a way to justify it , just own it and learn from it , shocking !!!!
If oliver is one of the better referees, the game is in dire straights, prefer no VAR for any team it's absolutely not fit for purpose. And the media backing the officials just shows what a bunch of nodding dogs you are.
When was the last time Micheal Oliver gave a red card to a Man City player? It seems like he prefers to give red cards to their rivials more to give Man City an advantage over and over again. Every fan mostly Liverpool and Arsenal fans have noticed his bias against us on a regular basis. Is he another Coote?
people like henry confuse me. why on earth would you instantly shut down any mention of potential corruption? almost like they live in lala land and believe that is impossible. just look at all of the fifa scandals down the years, football is most definitely not a clean game.
Blah blah blah winding up gooners is more important so we’ll admit it was one bad decision in isolation rather than revisiting ALL the poor and first time ever decisions that have crippled Arsenal that have not been repeated or consistently applied to other teams over the course of the entire season (how many red cards have been given for delaying a restart or kicking a ball away since Rice & Trossard, the phantom double yellow against Martinelli, Gabriel sent off for a clash of heads despite winning the ball first), what happened to NOT ruining a game by overreacting with a red card which was the rationale for not sending off Kovotic despite two red card challenges. Remember lads, it’s not about objectivity, it’s about banter in 2025……until it happens to your team of course . Job Done, get in 🥸
What's surprising is the premier league has issues every week with these inept referee decisions. While the refs are never the talking point in the world up or CL Either remove var from these geriatrics and give it to people who can utilise technology efficiently and have no ties with the on field ref.
Arsenal got away with the handball against Liverpool. They got away with a non-penalty against Manchester United. With the amount they’ve gotten away this year and last, they shouldn’t be as far up the table as they should be. all these years and its a fact.. arsenal players received lots of hard treatments from opponents and rarely given red.. while in the same time arsenal players directly being scrutinized by referees for giving soft/ridiculous fouls and red cards galore.. and suddenly its being refer to THE law in arsenal cases just for the sake of justifying errors.. like arteta said it.. we have got used to it.. so its not a surprise anymore if bias involved in arsenal PL matches.. its happen and will continue to happen
We have actual statistics to back this now. Do me a favor
Henry is obviously wanting to write ANthony Taylor's and Michael Oliver's biographies when then retire. I would love to know how many bad decisions/ questionable calls, what type of calls, by how many ref's and VAR personel would make him re consider there being a conspiracy. I believe he would say it would never happen !!??
It’s either corruption or incompetence.. either way he shouldn’t referee our games anymore
He does and just sticks up for his referees
Arteta is only one moaning about decisions but any fan Arsenal or not would see Michael Oliver has giving a silly number of cards to arsenal compared to a Man City.
What if someone celebrate with the common sliding on their belly celebration after scoring against Bath City FC?
Yellow for stopping the breake and another for the studs up, surely?
Every supporter can't claim that the same referee giving out 4 questionable red cards. Your all company men. Keith Hacknett only clear voice.
It's bias against Arsenal, not a conspiracy. The problem with Arsenal is the media's negativity bias against Arsenal. Arsenal are 2nd and 6 points behind Liverpool and every game refers to a crisis with players amd manager getting
abused. Arsenal have a crisis after every draw and dropped points. It's psychological from the referees. Referees need to be coached on their bias and are currently too arrogant to stand by their decision making.
Where’s does Micheal Oliver live ?
It's not a conspiracy, but it's always against Arsenal. "I don't buy that" ... why not? When the bad decisions, and unique bad decisions that you will never see again, are always against one team by one ref, why is it not prudent to investigate it? In any other walk of life you would.
Flatearther Arsenal? Dude, what's a lie about the shape of the earth got to do with this!
Michael Oliver refs a game like its NFL it is not enjoyable to watch
When was the last time Micheal Oliver gave a red card to a Man City player? It seems like he prefers to give red cards to their rivials more to give Man City an advantage over and over again. Every fan mostly Liverpool and Arsenal fans have noticed his bias against us on a regular basis.
Is he another Coote?
Aren’t they trying to clamp down on this sort of thing? On par with diving
What? Go away troll.
people like henry confuse me. why on earth would you instantly shut down any mention of potential corruption? almost like they live in lala land and believe that is impossible. just look at all of the fifa scandals down the years, football is most definitely not a clean game.
While the refs are never the talking point in the world up or CL
Either remove var from these geriatrics and give it to people who can utilise technology efficiently and have no ties with the on field ref.
Arsenal got away with the handball against Liverpool. They got away with a non-penalty against Manchester United. With the amount they’ve gotten away this year and last, they shouldn’t be as far up the table as they should be. Stop complaining Arsenal fans about being cheated because your team has been favored in so many occasions.
