We have a fairly new Aldi in our small town Jenn, I love so many products but agree that the fresh fruit & veg does not last as long as our Tesco store.🥰🇬🇧

I agree with you about the produce. I live in Pennsylvania and I know of 3 different Aldi's around here they seem the same. I wanted to put our some apples for the deer so I went to Aldi's thinking it would be cheaper ,first they were not the nicest apples they only had 1 kind and they were just as pricey as the other store!

I'm in NC and agree with you on the produce. It never seems fresh and there are always a lot of gnats. It makes me wonder what I'm missing. I'm willing to pay more for better quality. Love your videos. More recipes please! 😀

Totally agree on the produce it’s not always good when I go either. Or if I get some it spoils a lot faster then normal.

Aldi is owned by Whole Foods. If there is a whole foods near your aldi it tends to have better produce.

I live in the Midwest in Illinois and we love Aldi. Our produce is always fresh and I buy lots of veggies for grilling and lots of their fruit. I wish we would get some Lidl stores here. I’ve been to them in South Carolina and like those stores too.

I live in Texas and we only have 1 Aldi near us. It's very hit or miss on the produce. I found some good stuff yesterday but normally I don't.

I always enjoy watching your videos! I live in Wichita Kansas and the produce at our Aldi's is hit or miss and I don't get much there either. Have a wonderful day!

I really think these chain markets vary from market to market even within the same general area; mine is decent except you can’t buy fruits, potatoes, etc. individually which is tough when you are buying for just a couple. Now, I find the Walmart by our home is okay on most fruit but I will not buy veggies there; in addition it seems like during a recall on greens they are usually the first one named. I have heard a lot of complaining online about he Aldi produce, but what little I have bought there has been fine.

Hi Jenn! What a fantastic haul! Your home convenience store should be well stocked now, lol! Aldi is so great for pantry stock ups! For the most part, the produce is okay the day I buy it, but doesn't tend to last long. Maybe because we're in the North East, our veggies don't arrive as fresh? But their canned/pantry items more than make up for the produce! I'm so happy for you, that the school schedule is starting to return to full time! Let's pray it stays that way! This weeks' snow wasn't funny, was it? I was up in New York with my daughter all week, and they got over 2"!!! I think I'm ready for some warm weather now, lol. Enjoy your vacation next week!

I live in SE MI and our Aldi's produce is not the best either. Many times I have to go to a different store for produce...

Our Spring Break trip was this past week and it snowed on the way and was freezing the whole trip, LOL! It was still fun though-they have not been on vacation in over a year!

I'm not impressed by the produce either, and I live in Missouri...I usually go to a. neighborhood grocery store that sells locally grown produce. I have to tell you, I saw a photo of a package of salad mix that had a small pale-headed snake in it...was it real(?) I don't know, but it sure looked real. I no longer buy the salad mix. :D

😳 I don't think I would ever eat salad again if that happened. Glad it's a rare occurrence, that's for sure!

Growing up, Aldi was the most disgusting place to buy groceries. Then a couple of years ago they built some new stores around here and they are SO MUCH BETTER. But it is so location specific. I can’t understand that. I mean up the street is one with so much produce but then north of here there is one with way less. These are all in the same county and are all so different. I also hate how I cannot call there and ask a question or ask about if something is in stock. I have to go there and go in and find out myself. Or pay and tip a shopper using Shipt or Instacart. To answer your question they do have so much great looking produce now but it is very location specific as to how much variety you will find. Organic prices are great there, but be ready to really get in there and scrub-there is more dirt on their produce. I scrub all my produce, but I had to wash the last batch of pink lady apples for what seemed like an eternity to get all the junk off them. My hands were chapped already so that was super annoying!
