It’s crazy to see Brooke actually being innovative. I really would love to see DNA loft in the ghost as well as glycerin in a more durable package. I would also love to see Brooks lower the drop of there flag ship shoes. The ghost, adrenaline, glycerin, levitate 10-12 is high. The ghost with a 8mm drop and a slightly higher stack hight would be amazing. It just would make them more competitive with the rest of the market in terms of weight class but also just overall feel.
I just ordered them, I’m an avid runner and they seem very interesting. I’m an army guy who buys a lot of Adidas boost and the brooks ghost, I believe that’s the name, so maybe this is the bridge in between that I need. Great review, thank you.
Mate, thanks for watching and sending the feedback. Please let us know how they go. You will notice a lighter shoe on the foot, but the response is next level. Enjoy the shoes. Josh
I’ve ran about 15-20 miles in them and I honestly love them. Mostly on streets and slight inclines. They have the bounce of the adidas boost but a better overall energy return and more stability. Love them, need them in black now!
@@hworth3 I'm wearing them practically everywhere running shoe is appropriate and then some... Walking, Light Hiking, Gym, Shopping, Driving... I'm going to verify I can get minimum of 300 miles in 90 days and shoe is still good otherwise it'll be returned... Shoe + Custom Made Insole, both purchased from same Running Shoe store list for $300. I got discount... That would be alot for shoe that cannot go at least 300 miles... Brooks says shoe should be good for between 300 to 500...
Just got shoes this evening. Can't wait to try them out tomorrow. True to size. Wear same size 13 as all other Brooks I've purchased. Very Beautiful... Mind Blowingly Light... Extremely Stable for such a high stack height ( 38 heel, 32 forefoot, 6 drop ). No wobbling from side to side at all... No rolling ankles inward nor outward in this shoe... Fit like glove & plenty room in toe box... Material ( mono-mesh / mono-filament ) is see through in forefront of shoe so can see clearly whatever socks one is wearing or toes if not wearing socks... Mono-mesh will permit heat to escape & air to come in with very little resistance; this keeping forefoot & toes nice & cool... Love Segmented / Decoupling separation of heel... Lacing Good... Heel Nice, Bit Shallow, Snug & Secure, but not too tight... Rubber on out soles probably won't last long... However, if like feel after couple days will most likely get me another pair to wear once current ones wear out since these are being released aa limited edition. Heard only 7,000 were made... It's expensive shoe if tread wears quickly, which I think it will... It's prototype shoe to tests, develop & experiment with multiple new techniques in one shoe... This would probably be perfect replacement /addition to Beast, just add same type of rubber on the Beast to Aurora-BL so get long tread wear... Love Brooks Aurora-BL so far...
Is this strictly cushion shoe? Is this shoe not meant for someone that has flat feet and needs support? I have been running in the Adrenaline GTS for years, but these look very intriguing.
Miscellaneous... What’s the stack height of Brooks Aurora-BL? Brad G, Brooks Staff says: The stack height of the Aurora-BL is 37mm in the heel and 31mm in the forefoot.
The stack height of the Aurora-BL is 37mm in the heel and 31mm in the forefoot. Also saw: 26 heel & 20 forefoot... And now heard: 42 heel, 36 forrfoot... Hmm? I have two being delivered hopefully today 12.5 & 13
I read that the your heel sinks much lower than what the stack height appears to be on the outside. I’d say 26/20 to be the close stack height and can vary depending on your sizes.
@@wonkydonkey7899 Compared to other shoes I have. Heel is shallow but secure... Hokas sink very deep... Beast sink pretty deep... In the end all that matters is how it feels to the individual...
@@goat8252 Get both & return one doesn't fit... Some say it's true to fit others say it's size larger... For me it's same size all my other Brooks are 13, except Cascadia which are 12.5
They look like a lot of fun! Brooks have really killed it with the innovation here, I’d love to try them.

next paid!! Available now? Cost? Love that Brooks has stepped up and outside the 'norm' when it comes to the look of a shoe. Loving the new tech!
They launched today (17 June). Here's the link for more info and pricing: bit.ly/BrooksAuroraBL

So Brooks is making Yeezys now?! Great review as always!
