The 2024 Lexus TX 550h+ Is The Plug In Hybrid Luxury "Minivan" You've Been Waiting For
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 жов 2023
- Well, OK, so it's not the Lexus LM we REALLY want, but the TX is the next best thing with significantly more room in the 3rd row than in the MDX, XC90, Q7, or pretty much anything else in the luxury segment. It's not sporty, but it will get you 30 miles of EV range and 30 MPG just as a hybrid. Not enough? It's also the only TX available with a V6 under the hood...

They shit the bed without a bench seat option would be so useful in transportation service
3-place bench in both back rows, at least as an option, would be ideal. But, it could be weight related like the sunroof/moonroof omission though and it would make sense. Extra people are quite heavy.
It's refreshing and entertaining to see the camaraderie between various social media channels. TFL, Redline Reviews, and ABG - WOW!. Compiling info from what you guys broadcast makes it difficult to miss any minutiae about vehicles reviewed. Keep it up guys!
Oh well. As a RX 450h owner, I love the V6 Engine. Now I am wondering when is this thing going to go on sale.
Even though we use it rarely, Top trim without panoramic roof or at least a regular sunroof is a sadly a big drawback
no sunroof? that should be a crime at this price point on a top trim L E X U S !!!!
Honestly, I see the lack of a sunroof as a bonus. Many people have problems with sunroofs as far as water leaks or breaking glass, and it rarely gets used anyway
Not a fan of sunroofs.
I think it’s cost cutting so that they can make it under 80K for tax credits, if they add Sun roof and other things, it will be over 80K.
It's for weight savings. Same with the lack of a bench seat. That battery is HEAVY. Think about it: 30-35 miles on pure electric and no gas whatsoever? How small did you think the battery would be in this size vehicle? 😂
@@LoneWolfSparty you think they care about weight savings on a 5000 lb soccermom mobile? What did you smoke eh?
20:58 Lol at Alex ragdolling his passengers.
I am surprised that the moonroof is not optional at least. Wow. I appreciate the better interior packaging for sure.
The problem I have with the hybrid TX is there are only 6 seats. kinda defeats the purpose of a big SUV.
That was my thought, but we'll see if people shopping in this category feel the same. -Travis
For 550h+ need at least 7 seats. Captain chairs alone make it SIGNIFICANTLY less appealing for daily or travel family use. For me a no go vs other premium options if second row 3 seat bench option (ideally heated and ventilated) is not offered. Would be unbeatable if third row is enabled for 3 seats
100% agree! A close to full size SUV to carry just one more person than a 5 people sedan. Very disappointing!
Alex and Travis, That dark blue is a gorgeous hue and fitting for a luxury offering.🤩 The TX 550h+ is a step in the right direction but there is no 35 mpg TX as we see with the Grand Highlander. The absence of a spare tire is happening too often in Toyota/Lexus Hybrids these days.🤨
Lexus probably did their market research and saw their typical demographic isn’t too concerned with getting the absolute best mpg (which would save only about $30-40 a month at most).
@@Mgoblagulkablong I don’t think the TX is offered with the 245hp 2.5 NA hybrid that the GH can be optioned with.
Looks like Lexus prioritized smoothness (with the V6) and power (400+HP) for the top trim over pure MPG. Seeing as this powertrain is in the new Toyota Century SUV, I would trust that it'll serve its purpose.
@@Tolkytolkytolkythe 550h is still very slow. It’s the slower PHEV in the class while being more expensive than other phevs
It was a really nice color and the 550h+ is an overall pleasurable drive. The lack of attention to top end MPG and the removal of the spare tire are likely based on the concerns (or lack of) from the traditional Lexus shopper. -Travis
Do you know what the tow rating is? Interesting the move to a V6 plugin..
You guys are spot on. The Grand Hylander and TX look just like mini-vans. In fact, the Kia minivan looks more like an SUV than the Toyota pair. I think that's great because mini-vans are attractive to me. Heck, soccer moms in my town only drive SUVs and pickup trucks these days. If you don't want to drive a mom car, don't buy an SUV or pickup truck.
The minivan is massively underrated and it's a shame. -Travis
You do a good job with your videos. 👍
The no pano sunroof is definitely a curve ball for me, we were looking to trading in our GH for the TX, we’ll probably hold off a little longer to see if Lexus will add it later.
I agree it should at least be an option. No pano is actually a plus for me.
It's available but maybe not in the configuration you'd like most. I don't think it'll be changed soon either. -Travis
Hoping Toyota comes out with a Grand Highlander Prime for a more affordable option
Hoping, but I'll doubt it'll happen. But if it does happen, I'll even be happy with a i4 PHEV. I don't need the v6.
Fingers crossed! -Travis
I was going to put $1000 deposit to be in the line...but no sun roof? Cam on..lexus...I guess I will be staying with my NX450h...
Thank you! Yes, I would pick TX PHEV over European ones.
No you wouldn’t and indeed you really shouldn’t 😂
I do not mind the no pano. sun roof. I have an RX350 and i don’t really use the pano. Sunroof here in sunny souther CA. This vehicle checks 95%of the boxes for me. Spacious 3rd row, ok ev mileage, towing, smooth handling.
Not everyone likes the sunroof, but it was surprising that it's not even an option. -Travis
Just about perfect. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Thankfully the touchpoints are swathed in piano black, no glass roof waiting to be destroyed by hail, nearly 100 cubic feet of cargo behind the front row, and Toyota’s reputation for reliability.
Great reviews Alex!, I’m just wondering since the tx550h plugin is approaching rivian r1s money , which one would you take?
R1S hands down over this rav4
You need to consider your usage more than anything else. America only has plugs along highways and if you travel or vacation in out of the way places go with a hybrid. That's why we still have our Forester.
Very different vehicles but I would go with Rivian. -Travis
So narrower tyres are more affordable for families so that's a win right.
I have to wonder how this will all play out with price vs tax credit. Its assembled in the US so there's a chance it will be eligible if the msrp can come in under $80k. Come Jan 1, $7500 on the hood would be a great incentive to choose this over say a xc90.
Agreed but the RX PHEV at $75k doesn’t bode well for pricing, unless they keep the delta the same as between the Highlander and Grand Highlander ($1,500)
The Lexus TX 550h+ pricing has been leaked to start from 78,050 after handling processing, handling, and destination
I need my pano roof.. that’s the only thing in need to place my order
Close to 90k and no sunroof?
That’s a zonk for me
Good job
Hoped for Bench and as expected - sad for no childseat tilt. So close for big family perfection. Maybe next gen Pathfinder could go closer.
Right? I don't get the trend of captain chairs.. I'm buying a big SUV just to delete 1 seating option makes 0 sense. That was one of the season I didn't get the fully loaded grand highlander.
I really like the toned down grill. I don't like the giant Lexus grills on just about all their models! The new GX looks pretty good as well.
I think the front end is massively improved. Toned down for sure, but I'll take it. -Travis
why doesn't lexus choose to use air suspension on the TX500h+, I suspect for reliability reasons
Very nice looking SUV for sure. With Volvo's continued dismal reliability and resulting poor resale values, it would not even be a consideration for me but to each his own. Glad to see Travis!
Thanks for the in depth review. But for $80k, I'd get the GMC Yukon XL for it's space.
That's an option, but it's quite a bit bigger. Parking isn't going to be as easy as the TX. -Travis
Lexus! please give us a real lexus minivan
I find it curious that they brought back the V6 for this instead of using the 2.4T
Welcome to Texas. It's hot - but you know that.
The lack of a moon roof is actually a big plus for me, I've never liked the idea of cutting a hole in the roof. The market, as a whole, isn't going to like it one bit though. So it's a massive omission vis-a-vis competitors for luxury three-row SUV to lack that feature. It must have been the added weight (straw) that broke this particular platforms (camel's) back.
Here before naveenthekoreanmachine and his alts touting Korean supremacy
Didn’t take long. 😂
lol he posted a comment 2 hours before you did
this setup should be on the grand Highlander max
Even the RAV4 Prime powertrain should work on the Grand Highlander
No more reason to get the Lexus if this exact powertrain is in the Grand Highlander 😅
@@mark_u just put the RAV4 Prime 4 cylinder powertrain in the Toyota version
If grand highlander had a Plug-in Hybrid V6 Option with a 7 seater configuration I would have gotten it in a Heart Beat Hate the V4 Turbo honestly...
Really wish the 3rd row had 3 seats
The XC90 is getting old but the design is aging really well. The MDX is the best looking vehicle in the Acura line up. I'd take either instead of this Lexus. Unless you needed that space.
Agreed. The tx is dead on arrival. I called that this would happen on June 8th😁
It's good to have options! -Travis
@@naveenthemachine This nasty slim is still hanging around Toyota I see..

And Soyfen has double followers good reviewer but prefer Alex all day long. No Offense. It’s not the age thing for me. I do like a lot of young content creators including Soyfen.
I love this does not come with ridiculously wide tires. A reasonable tire width is better for fuel economy and wet road performance. It would be stupid to throw away these benefits soley for aesthetics.
Y'all were in my neck of the woods! If you're in Austin again and want to test drive a 350kW Polestar 2 let me know lol. (The ones you tested were either 300 or 335kW - tbh it's not a huge difference...).
Thank you for the offer! -Travis
Hard plastics galore in the back. And absence of moon roof is going to make it claustrophobic for anyone shoved in there.
lol at everyone crying over a sunroof. I’ve had several all-glass roof and sunroof cars and most of the time I wish they were solid roof instead.
I'd rather have a solar panel on such a large surface area.
@@Tolkytolkytolky oh that makes me cry… that’s even worse!
@@FuncleChuck How so?
@@Tolkytolkytolky Solar is still all the glass of a sunroof, but adds almost nothing. A full 10-hour sunny summer day would get you /maybe/ 5 kWh, worth 10 miles or so? Huge cost with vanishingly slim benefits.
@@FuncleChuck Valid point, but for someone who never uses or opens their sunroof, the slim benefit of a few KMs/miles a month is still better than nothing. Having owned a NX450h+ for half a year, I'd take any amount of free EV range over a sunroof because I never want to use gas if I can help it.
Does it require 87 or 91 Gasoline? Just in case battery runs out?
_"Ratings achieved using required premium unleaded gasoline w/ an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used, performance will decrease. 366 net combined horsepower for TXh F SPORT Performance. 406 net combined horsepower for TX PHEV Luxury."_
Smh, that biker didn't obey the traffic light.
No pano would make others to think this may be the lower/lowest trim Lexus. I wouldn't like that if I'm driving this.
Does this have heat pump ?
The electric MVP out there in other countries are so nice there is nothing in the US market can even compare….. that TX is not even close…..
Most interesting TX trim of the bunch but this shouldn't reach $80K considering the dearth of luxury features that should have been standard at that certain price point. The XC90 and Aviator plug-in models are just infinitely more appealing than the TX550h+
yeah, cost-cutting in a weird way, especially when 80K you can start to get an X7, GLS, Escalade, Navigator, Grand Wagoneer. but the top trim TX, you don't get everything is a big oversight
Agreed. I told everyone the tx was dead on arrival. Mark you had the audacity to say my hate on Toyotas going too far. But now you yourself are very disappointed with the tx. What I said on June 8th has come true
V6 should be on all RX and TX.
Lexus TX's many variants expose the buyer to the risk of overpaying for gimmicks in the top level variants or overpaying for less car in the base variants. I only see a clear rationale for buying the hybrid, i.e. low fuel consumption. Unfortunately, it has only a six-seat configuration. Very appealing vehicle that can nonetheless leave every buyer a little dissatisfied with his/her choice.
the lack of COLOR options cannot be blamed on "weight savings"...
Not even Nori Green is available on this rig.
The color choices are kind of disappointing.
@@cbotten106 yeah, and this bland rig needs all the help it can get!
A grand slam would be to bring this exact powertrain over to a Toyota Grand Highlander!!! A lot of people can’t afford a $75K Lexus nor the more costly maintenance. I’d definitely buy a Toyota version though and I think a lot of other people would as well. I would buy it even if it wasn’t a PHEV. A hybrid V6 GH is what will sell. I can’t get into the idea of a large 5K pound SUV with a 4 cylinder, regardless of turbo charged or not. Turbo 4’s should be for small cars like a Corolla or Civic… not a large SUV. There will be too high RPM’s, higher temps and shorter life plus it will sound horrible and feel clunky. I won’t buy a GH with a 4 cylinder that’s for sure.
If it wasn't for the giant L on the steering wheel, I would think this was a toyota. Not up to Luxury car standards. No pano roof is also a curious decision.
Agreed. This SUVs DOA
Don’t waste your money on the grand highlander either
Get a palisade or telluride and be done with it

Apart from more room the new TX has nothing that makes it a better choice than a MDX.
Agreed. I called it on June 8th that the tx was such a disappointment when it was announced. No one listened. Everyone laughed at me.
I’m so glad it turned out that way: the tx is DOA
To me it’s just a Grand Highlander in a prom tux. And no opening sunroof is a big mistake. Why does Lexus/Toyota keep pumping out new vehicles when they can’t meet the demand for their current lineup?
Needs triple beams and pano
One is more likely than the other. -Travis
@@AAutoBuyersGuide hope so. Omission of pano on top trim engine makes others have to settle for the lesser engine. Refresh hopefully is better
I'll guess this will cost closer to $90,000. Or, $150,000 with ADM ;-)
And it’ll be slow and still based on a Camry platform combined with a horrid exterior, subpar interior, cheap materials, useless dated tech, no features, boring to drive
Nooo way, it has too many plastics for that kinda price.
Welp, if we cant have a PHEV pickup truck, a PHEV large crossover is almost as good in terms of carrying big things. Well done Lexus.
You can fit a lot in the TX, that's for sure. -Travis
Thank you for all your good video. I am extremely disappointed to see that SUV no longer have a rear latch window like the 2019 Toyota hylander. And I am so not impressed with the Lexus suede on the seat. Looks money saver alternative and will drive neat freak and perfectionist crasy! Not impressed with functions embedded in the infotainment. At least there is no wood trim… wood is for house and suede is for clothing. Thanks
It is a stylish Minivan. Glad it has a v6 instead of that terrible sounding small 4 cylinder engine.
It's a nice powertrain pairing with the TX. -Travis
Plug in Hybrid is a top line trim only but doesn't even include a moon roof 🤦♂️
For this money better X7
Or Aviator
Agreed. I’d get anything over this Camry on stilts
The more I read about and see reviews of the TX, it seems like Lexus whiffed.
First off, don't get me wrong, it is indeed either class leading or pretty darn close to it for human and cargo space. No idea why it's taken this long for the industry to come out with a premium 3 row crossover of this size I'm not talking about the BOF SUVs), but it's long been sorely needed for those who, you know, actually need a 3rd row in a crossover format.
That said, many of Lexus' design choices are puzzling at best. Austere interior that doesn't readily look premium, bland color palette inside and out (except for the blue, that color is gorgeous!), no wood trim, no triple beam headlamps, no pano roof for the PHEV, no full leather option, and so on. For a purported luxury trim, the decontenting from existing Lexus models reeks of cost cutting and, frankly, in my opinion lazy engineering.
That said, I intend to give the 550h+ a hard look whenever it eventually comes out. I'm in the class of folks who actually need a usable 3rd row, as we're close to ourgrowing our Sorento PHEV, and the wife has ixnayed a minivan. I'd like to stay PHEV since it's the best for our use case, but there are enough questionable design choices about the 550h+ that make me a bit leery about shelling out that kind of money.
You shouldn’t be looking at the PHEV. The tx in general isn’t worth it
If you want a v6 PHEV you should get a Pacifica PHEV and get way more space
@@naveenthemachine You clearly ignored the part where I said the wife ixnayed a minivan.
Look, we all know you hate the TX, but it *does* check the boxes for what's probably a significant portion of the premium 3 row segment, so take your broken record somewhere else.

6 seat 3 row vehicles are my least favorite thing... Otherwise a pretty nice vehicle
Why? So useful! Middle seats are so small and uncomfortable, if you have three or four kids it’s ideal
@@havfunonline In my opinion, a 2 person bench vs. a 3 person bench in the back row is no different in terms of comfort for 2 passengers. Second row captains chairs are superior for comfort, but why not make the back row 3 seats?
yeah basically any full size crossover (such as the GLS,x7,upcoming q9, and this TX) will not have 8 seats as an option. if u want that, you only have the body on frame full sizers or the upcoming GMC acadia redesign
@@huanronghu4432 I feel like 8 in low trims, 7 in high trims should be the norm. Personally, I think 7 seats is a sweet spot. Captain's chairs for comfort in the second row, plus you can go through the middle to access the third row.

GRAND HIGHLANDER PHEV WILL PROBABLY HAVE MOONROOF!
We'll see. Even if it could, Toyota may not want to give folks a reason to not get the Lexus version. -Travis
They won’t do that to create market for this
I see it as the "affordable" Crown SUV.
How can you call it a "minivan" when it only seats 6 people? I'm already irritated that so many minivans are just 7 seaters now.
I'm considered to buy Lexus TX550h+ PHEV.
You should have chosen an xc90 or aviator or even a cx90 instead. Those are better
It’s just the previous generation rx450h power train + a bigger battery pack. And yes the interior is cheap looking

Good comparison with the Volvo, that's certainly what I'd go for over this. If you've got the likely 80k for carting around Jack, Jane and Jeremiah to soccer practice in one of these than your unlikely to be that worried about paying a little more for parts and service on the Volvo. The Volvo will have better ev range, the seats and interior fit and finish are fantastic, and the Google based software that Volvo has switched to just works.
Agreed. And the Volvo is fast and cool. Not outdated and a complete snooze fest
The thing is, sales are not about whether money for maintenance is abundant. Lexus will certainly capture more sales with those who like hassle-free maintenance.
@@CrossCuntyRic yeah sure hassle free maintenance…😂🙄
I miss the old format. After watching several of the new videos with multiple people I’ve realized they are longer with less information. Time to move on
Good first review, but once again too much money for the average consumer. Limited to six seats is not an advantage. MPH is good. No mention of towing capacity?? A lot of people want at least a sun roof that opens. Seems they wanted to release a PHEV quickly, so little thought given to how to reduce overall weight.
I don’t consider Volvo to be a European car manufacturer anymore. They have sold out to China. Their vehicles are manufactured in China. I certainly would not buy a Volvo no matter how well it is priced and how good its features over a USA manufacturer. Would not buy Volvo even if it was manufactured in the USA. It’s still a Chinese vehicle.
Then it's a good thing there are non-Volvo options in the segment. -Travis
Why "minivan"? When it's not!
Incredibly boring design inside and out, basically a Subaru Ascent clone with nicer finishes. I’m sure it’ll sell in the US. I don’t expect to see a TX on the road anytime soon out here in Canada though.
If you do let us know! -Travis
Dumb. PHEV with the same small battery of the RAV4. It should have been a bigger battery
As every other comment is stating, I’m not buying a 80k car that can’t even have a glass roof even if it didn’t open. Suvs are already claustrophobic n dark. Really dumb for 1 mpg difference
80k for a rebadged GH, the 80k XC90 will look and feel much more premium than this car
Agreed 💯. I called it on June 8th that the tx was dead on arrival. Everyone on here laughed at me
But clearly the tx is doa
@naveenthemachine I wouldn't say it's DOA, people will buy it because it's a Lexus. The dealer experience and other reasons. Just as I've seen 2 or 3 Bz4x and RZ450e which are even worse cars but there are people who insist on buying Toyota or Honda for their reputation etc.
The Infiniti QX60 feels and looks more premium than the TX and that's saying something. Lexus has mailed this one in, this is the worst fprm of badge engineering from lexus since the original Lx450.
@@th003gI would rather give up the dealer experience to get a better car
Whats the point of the Lexus logo if the entire vehicle itself is mediocre, outdated, boring, slow, uncompetitive, and overpriced?

This also makes the Cadillac xt6 look a lot better and previously it was one of the worst options but now Lexus has made the xt6 look so much better

In addition to being one of the least reliable SUVs, the 2023 Grand Cherokee isn’t all that safe either. Though the NHTSA hasn’t tested the latest model, the last few have ranked as poor in a few key areas. In fact, the 2022 Jeep Cherokee tested received an overall rating of poor. Just as I suspected on June 8th, the tx is dead on arrival 😁. All the competition is breathing a sigh of relief and laughing at the tx
I don’t have to go into detail as to why it’s DOA. No one in their right mind would choose this over any of its rivals
Make an actual argument. You just said it was bad with absolutely no explanation.
@@TheGerm24 Sure I’ll elaborate on why.
The exterior is not attractive at all. It’s not to the same degree of polish as we see in the X5, GLE, XC90, GV80, Q7, Aviator, MDX, XT6, QX60, CX90, Telluride, Palisade, Sorento, EV9, Santa Fe, Pathfinder, or the LC500. The only vehicle that looks worse than the tx are the crown and the bz4x. But cmon that’s a very low bar…
The TX350 w the 2.4 turbo 4 will be as slow as a Toyota Corolla at 8.5 seconds 0-60. Not very competitive. Almost anything else I can think of is faster: MDX, qx60, xt6, pilot telluride palisade, cx90, gv80, aviator, xc90 pathfinder etc. Only the ford ecosport or Mitsubishi mirage are slower than the TX. That’s a very low bar to compare the three in the same sentence. The competition however can get away with turbo 4s as their base engine because they’re more powerful, they sound better, they’re smoother, and they’re significantly faster.
The TX500h F Sport Performance (yeah right on performance 🙄) isn’t any faster than a base MDX, telluride palisade, xt6, qx60, base ford explorer 2.3, cx90 etc. it’ll do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds in the real world. Yet it’s still significantly slower than the MDX type S, gv80 3.5T, base aviator, or even the upcoming inline 6 in the Jeep SUVs. And yes Alex, your former 2018 dodge Durango citadel anodized platinum v8 AWD is significantly faster. And your Durango SRT is even faster than that. F sport performance? Seriously? 😂.
The tx550h+ is still very slow. 0-60 in 6 seconds. It’s the same as the 500h yet it’s significantly more expensive. And it’s still significantly slower than any aviator, any x5, any xc90, MDX type S, gv80 3.5T, even a ford explorer ST.
The interior is such a disappointment. It’s cheap, doesn’t scream elegance of any kind. No leather dash, leather doors, leather airbag cover, wood trim, metal speaker grilles. The interior has no chance to compete with any of its rivals. If you think using injection molded plastics throughout the interior screams quality, you may as well get a rav4 LE and say it’s a better quality cabin than a bmw x3.
It lacks so many features compared to the competition. What are those missing features? Easy: Double wishbone front suspension, air suspension, passenger memory, massaging seats, 4 zone climate control, ottomans with long slide seats, power 2nd row seats like the ev9 Santa Fe and carnival, heated 3rd row seats like the palisade, less speakers than rivals.
The tech is completely useless with the lack of physical buttons, gimmicky door handles and the useless touchpad heads up display combo.
I agree that the interior space is great. Unfortunately is the interior space in a telluride or palisade. It’s not like for its size, the tx or grand highlander has the same space as an Escalade ESV. That would be a game changer if it did, but it’s not. The space isnt really better than an aviator or xc90.
As mentioned, the performance falls behind just about everything else. Handling also falls significantly behind any of the competition. Ride quality isn’t better than a telluride or palisade, but still not as polished as the air suspension options. As for fuel economy, well it’s a luxury car so the less said about that the better.
Did i mention that it’s way overpriced? The MDX xt6 qx60 xc90 grand Cherokee telluride palisade are much better deals than this bigger rav4 with lipstick. It costs 55K for a base 350 while a 500h is 70K. So that Cadillac xt6 you said is way overpriced and Infiniti qx60 sound like much better deals than this even at MSRP.
And the PHEV will definitely cost 80-90K. So the same price as an xc90 recharge or aviator grand touring black label, yet you get slow performance, horrid driving dynamics, a dated exterior and cheap interior.
@@naveenthemachine you're always bringing up speed as if it's an important metric to the buyers in this segment; mom and pops with the youngins dont care about how fast their 5000lb suv goes from 0-60 as long as it can merge into traffic adequately lol. there goes all your "well X, Y , Z is faster!" arguments.
drive dynamics? you think these folks trying to carve corners with a 5000lb suv carrying their family?
interior / exterior opinions is subjective, you're saying it's the worse interior in the world whereas these reviewers are saying it's nice and practical
"The tech is completely useless with the lack of physical buttons, gimmicky door handles and the useless touchpad heads up display combo." this is just like, your opinion lol. Technology is perfectly usable through touchscreen interfaces
you bringing vehicles from other segments are helping your argument. x3/x5? xt6? qx60? sante fe? nobody is cross shopping those with the TX at all, those vehicles are tiny compared to it
"As for fuel economy, well it’s a luxury car so the less said about that the better." this is such a delusional take, you think people that spend lots of money don't care about fuel efficiency at all? So it might as well get 10mpg heck who cares?
@@chibbyylolspeed matters and so does handling
Literally every single rival this competes with is naturally faster and drive better. And those aren’t dedicated performance trims. Drive a grand Cherokee or x7. They drive better despite being very heavy as well because they’re RWD biased
The interior is worse than some mainstream cars. Only a rav4 LE has a worse interior than this.
Also anyone who buys an expensive car shouldn’t care about mpg. Alex owns a Durango SRT which costs over 70k. Do you see him whining about mpg? No because it doesn’t matter. If mpg matters so much he would have gotten a Prius by now
@@naveenthemachine mpg likely mattered but wasn't the highest priority, also the TX didn't exist when he was car shopping :)
let me ask you (and be honest here): the durango srt spec says it gets 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds and gets ~15mpg.
If there was a durango SRT hybrid or something that has similar performance, say gets 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds now, so a tad slower but gets 25mpg
which one would you go for?
Only 6 seats and no sunroof? We need 7 or 8 seats and big sunroof and more space and bigger battery.
Pass😂😂love the V6 and ecvt but no moonroof for a 7 seat family suv?
