I'm working on a 3d printed housing to replace the standard cells with 18650 li ion batteries. Looks like I'll be able to fit two in series and then use a buck converter to buck the voltage down the 5v.

For Fluke 190, I would recommend using Fluke requires BC190 as the power adapter.

Maybe just use lithium USB-power bank, which delivers exactly 5 V which is the voltage of a loaded NiMh accupack for Fluke 123. If the power bank doesnt fit into battery cabinet it can also be attached to the stand foot outside and cable can feed to inside.

Thanks for your comments, but just note that the voltage of the power bank has to be 10 - 20v DC, as displayed at 2:45.

@@electricalautomation I think you are mistaken! I not ment the power supply, this is 10 to 20 V, yes. I mean the battery connector inside battery cabinet at back. Remove old battery and install USB-plug. Then connect Li-Ion-Power bank for USB, which delivers regulated 5 V. This voltage is same as a charged Fluke battery! This way you can extend runtime to days propably.
