Pleasure working with you Tim and Jo (and Rupert!!) looking forward to seeing you for the pre pour check and then the pouring of the walls. All the best, Steve
Congratulations guys. We absolutely loved building our extension with Nudura years ago. It’s got better over time as well with ongoing improvements. Have fun!
Congratulations on the arrival of baby Rupert and Happy Birthday Tim! Really enjoying all your videos whether farming or Big Barn Build. So glad you are able to progress with your dream home - it’s going to be fantastic! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
I had the pleasure of meeting Steve a few years back on a project just outside Bicester. He’s a absolute gent who will do anything to help and always willing to share his knowledge. Project is coming on well…keep it going.
Congratulations guys. We absolutely loved building our extension with Nudura years ago. It’s got better over time as well with ongoing improvements. We built a full width extension and had the walls up in a few days, we did a gable end from nothing to finished with concrete poured in a morning. Have fun!
@@steveburgess9172 I thought it was fabulous to see. It’s always important to use equipment and building materials are used correctly and use them how they are meant to used to ensure safety and reassurance to the customer. My hat is off to the company nothing more nothing less.
Congratulations guys! When Jo said "if you can DIY" I thought she might add in true Blue Peter style - "and here's one I made earlier"! After all, you're building with Lego!
Congrats on the Roo. Very satisfying to watch those Lego walls go up, never heard of this product before so looking forward to seeing what happens next!
You could and I did consider however it would only really be to aid install as the final pool base is 300mm higher than that after insulation so will give us chance to get it nice and flat.
Congratulations on the birth of baby Rupert. Seems like only a couple of months ago since you announced Jo was pregnant. The ICF blocks.... Sarah Beenie (celeb) built her house out of those blocks. Then put an older style facade on the outside. They had a TV show following it all which spanned a few series following it from start to finish.
Congratulations on the newest team member!! Rupert and Jo look well, happy enough! Ow and bit later in the video, happy birthday to you Tim! Question popping up: will you make the inner leaf of the ICF (poolside) height of top of the floor, and outerleaf (earthworks-side) to bottom of the floor, so you can connect vertical rebar into the horizontals in the slab?
Yes although we will likely shutter inside dace of pool with ply to brinbg up the last 200mm instead and use the remaining ICF for steps and other jobs.
Congrats to you all on the new addition to the family! The foam Lego looks like a good product. Question though, is there a reason that they are built before locating into place/sliding down over the vertical rebar. Seems to be a slight faff with the rebar? Could you not simply place one side, then the other, then slide the joiners/spacers in once in situ? You might also not have needed to remove the horizontal bracers and safety caps then either?
It’s a good point. The long units could have possibly gone in that way. Usually they are all prebuilt as hinged units like the corners so you wouldn’t have the choice. The horizontals would still have to come off as the clip in to blocks at a particular height each course. Some people just have a very short starter bar of steel poking up which would be easier but our SE had them full height.
Penblwydd Hapus. Those lego stuff look great, I remember seeing similar on grand designs or another similar program, and the foam would break if the concrete is poured in too fast. So it will be interesting how the technology has improved since then... must have been over 10 years ago when I saw the program.
I was involved in a few nudura installs, the guy in charge used to let it lean in a bit and then support and prep for the bulge that wants to happen outwards. Gets fiddly during the pour.

How great it was for the company to send someone out to help you understand their product, you cannot put a price on that level of service.
It's essential so we do it on every project.

Congratulations on the new arrival 🎉
Congratulations 🎉. I suspected that Jo had the baby from the reduced amount of videos. I'm glad everyone is healthy.
If you did it again, could you use levelling compound to get a flat base?
You could and I did consider however it would only really be to aid install as the final pool base is 300mm higher than that after insulation so will give us chance to get it nice and flat.
WOW!! Congratulations guys. 💙
Congrats on the little one!

Lucky little chap four mummy’s 🎉
That’s exactly what he has. 😂
Tim upset by his pool being filled with water - isn't that the idea! 🙂
Looks like his Dad😂😂
Congratulations to you all; puts minor hiccups of concrete pours into perspective. (Did you get any recourse from the Supplier who dropped you in it?)
Penblwydd Hapus.

They used the same lego kit in one Grand Designs house and it burst open during the pour, they were dealing with more volume though
I was involved in a few nudura installs, the guy in charge used to let it lean in a bit and then support and prep for the bulge that wants to happen outwards. Gets fiddly during the pour.
👍👊
Lad has the same haircut as his Dad
Is that the mini pool ?
Happy birthday Tim from another Virgo. Cheers
Congrats!! Did you DIY the birth? You know what they say, if you can..! At least you don't need (family) planning permission for that in the UK 😂
Not this time thankfully. Our 3rd was the DIY delivery! One of those is enough, 😂
"Come in ahead of schedule" .... you two have been busy .... 🤣
🎉 MAZEL TOV 🎉
