Jason is the real deal! He has changed the way I think about the game and am so grateful for him. The title is fitting! I truly believe he is the best. Take it to the bank!
No one else in the industry has broken out as the best coach in Pickleball…until now. You have to be around Jason to see that he really is a scientist when it comes to the game. Both statistically and mentally. I can’t wait to watch his athletes continue to rise.
Hi. I’ve been watching your channel for the past 6 months, enjoying the topics, conversations and humor. I’m 63 and have been playing pickleball on and off over the last 5 years. I currently play at the 4.5 level, always looking to improve my skills, as well as, assisting/coaching others to achieve their goals. This show has been my favorite so far. Jason was a great guest!
Is that a sandle in your pants?🤣Jason has great input for getting better. Agree with Jason on the "back story" idea to build up viewership. What happened to the Reality Show that was going to show this? Go Black Bears.
You can progress from rec play, but it takes an insane amount of focus because you have to make adjustments on a reactive basis to what the game is giving you rather than creating the situation yourself. Every rally is 10% of ten different drills. I actually enjoy approaching rec play on that basis, because I don't have any grand ambition to compete in tournaments at the 4.5+ level. At the 3.75 level, I still have enough mental bandwidth to force my rec play to develop my overall game. In true 4.0 play, when I'm playing up, I admit it has become mentally taxing to keep up with the pace of play _and_ to manage my development agenda. So that's my own blood drill. Silly brain, cope with it and manage to do both.
Hey Tyler, is there a super secret place where you can get game film on your competitors? If you are limited to the UA-cam content that the rest of us see it seems like there would be a lot of competitors that you would never get to see their game. Thanks for the content!!
Tyler, I’ll answer your question why the John’s brothers are the best. They have a cohesive well thought game plan and they stick to it and they execute it. Their chemistry is better than everybody by far.
53:33 I don't follow this too closely, but I know that in the following six months, Ben and Collin became beatable enough that they have been busy retooling Collin's game for more aggression. This particular segment did not age well.
Coach, everything you say about the pro game is right. You should be listened to. The pro game is at risk. I hope some smart people figure this out and fix it if it isn’t already too late.
True that the best players in the game are going to have natural athleticism. But everyone can improve, albeit at a slower rate than the natural athletes, all things being the same.
Wait a minute!!!! The guy that hates Jimmy and maybe you the most picks you in the draft?!!?!?!! Does Tyson realize that you both will be together for the next THREE years?!?!?!?! Please bring him in on the podcast
Gearbox has been selling a great pair of glasses for over 4 years, I have 4 pairs… I don’t think they deserve to be singled out today😕 Who TF called them out 7 months ago for having superior paddles? Not a single person!
why does Jimmy feel it necessary to always jump in and put his two cents in when someone’s in the middle of explaining something classic case of I know everything and the beard, 😢
ALW (ball doesn't bounce twice on her side), Vivienne David (never skips leg day) and a host of talented females should have been in the athleticism conversation.
Jason and Tyler are legit to get advice from. Jimmy is kind of like listening to Skip Bayless. Give commentary on play when he’s got little ability or experience playing at high-level. Painful to listen to.
This guy is awesome. Between his takes on Steve Kuhn blowing up the sport to Tyler’s certifiable take on a soft serve, he’s absolutely right.

I love Jason!! 🙌🏻
Jason is right. Iggy's serve causes trouble.
Loved this podcast. Y'all need him on more often. Jason is a star.
Thanks Jason and Tyler and Jimmy. Miss you guys!
Another great Pod gentlemen ! Keep it coming.

Damn shame that Thomas Wilson not mentioned for most athletic
Tyler’s kitchen is dope. No pun intended. 😂 Good job Tys wife. 😅 Love the fengshei

Jason arguably best bishop ever had

if you need to play tour. to get better you also need a partner at your level and work together (your only as good as your partner)

Thanks, Chris. What Steve Kuhn did had/has this game hanging by a thread. The consequences of it are staggering.
Athleticism are physical gifts that the average human being doesn’t have or can’t obtain by simply working out

Bring back the original backdrop. It’s not the same vibes now
Hot tub, have to come to him, blood drills. Puffy party starter pack 🤔😂

The Only low ball you can hit hard is an ATP 😂.

Guys love your pod but you have to stop looking at your phones during interviews. It’s disrespectful to your guests
Stop hitting me on the tip! I don’t like wearing the sandal…
2x lol
@@jasonpeery The flip flop SAVED me
What about the athletic women? Also, athletes need to be intelligent!
You're so right, we didn't get to the women, that's my bad. Women's pro doubles is by far the best event in the game.
