Rick is known most as a founding member and lead singer of Firefall (1974 to 1981), with hit songs such as "You Are the Woman," "Just Remember I Love You," "Strange Way" and more! Many may also remember him from his work with The Flying Burrito Brothers.
Rick now lives daily with the pain and neurological effects of suffering a debilitating brain injury in 2006. In spite of Rick’s difficult and slow recovery, he shares his story and all of the struggles and triumphs, in order to encourage others on their personal journey of loss, illness, pain and disability. In 2015, Rick authored a book called "Lame Brain." It tells of his recovery from both his injury, and from the other byproducts (a healthy case of alcohol addiction) of his rock life. The book has provided a way for Rick to share his story and help provide encouragement for people along their journey of disability and injury.

Loved Firefall when they first came out in the 70's and still listen to them on youtube all the time. Ric Roberts had such a unique voice it made everything come together with the harmony and music. I love great harmony and they were one of the best. Best of luck Ric.
