Masterpiece of a superband. Every single one of these ladies is an elite musician. In the eighties, they would have filled stadiums.

This song is an epic masterpiece and it's melodic storytelling at its finest. There's no rhythm guitarist per se in this band. They have 2 lead guitarists - Miyako (lead guitarist/pianist at stage left) and Midori (lead guitarist at stage right). When one plays lead, the other plays rhythm, and they frequently harmonize their licks/solos which makes them one of the best guitar duos ever.
Yes, masterpiece. The artists showing their master fine art. 👍🤘

Thank you for your reaction. Yes indeed what they playing it's very complicated composition, but looks like yeah another day in the office no big deal. Yeah..... Lovebites..... yeah. That was one of their absolute best songs. Asami knocked it out of the park with the vocals and Miyako showed off her musical prowess on both piano and guitar. The lyrics are amazing too. Keep doing reactions to Lovebites, the world needs to hear more from this band.

A masterpiece.
Miyako might not quite have the playing speed of Midori (although she's close), but the emotion Miyako can extract from six strings verges on supernatural. That is why Miyako and Midori complement each other so well, and are possibly the best metal guitar duo of all time.
I hope someday you will see them live like me last year in Paris 🇨🇵. It was a show with out piano, due to the low rank of the ¥ ( yen). It was to expensive to travel all around EUROPE with a piano. For the drum they've to rent in each country. ( 10 show (included 4 festival), 7 country in 20 days). The show in Paris was the best one i ever seen since 1997 ( Metallica private concert in Paris).

This is just one of the three E songs, all of which are a showcase of the virtuoso musicianship and vocal beauty throughout lovebites, and are all masterpieces in their own ways. The other two are ;

These also have piano intro's. Empty Daydream shows how good they are with backing vocals, and Epilogue is a truly amazing 💯 ballad. Both are from 2019 Daughters of the Dawn, and incorporate Miho, original bassist. As far as I aware, they haven't done these again recently. I'm hoping you're ready to experience an emotional shock wave. 🤘🎤🎸🥁🎹🐺
"Epilogue" is probably in my top 3 all time favourite LOVEBITES songs.

Great reaction - just one small correction to something you said - Lovebites doesn't have a " rhythm guitarist " - they have two lead guitarists and two rhythm guitarists 😉🤷♂ Midori and Miyako although very different in style ( and stage temperament ) are both virtuoso guitarists in their own right - Midori is more technical while Miyako can be technical but she's really all about the " feel " . ( BTW - neither of them started playing guitar until they were in their very late teens - both come from a keys background - and Miyako is self taught ! )
Someone in the comments has left links to the other two " E songs " I'd definitely like to see your reactions to them at some point .

MIDORI, guitarist (the blonde) and composer, called "crazy shredder"

FAMI, bass player, the youngest and very talented, called "shining fingers"
Fami joined the band in 2022, after the former bassist MIHO (great bass player she also) left the band for personal reasons.
