@Rich M Where I live you still get a $100.00 fine. I was on the expressway, hit a pothole and it blew my right side headlight, I knew there was an auto parts store at the next exit so I got off and there was a cop who pulled me over and gave me the fix it and pay ticket. I had driven less then half a mile with a light out, had to take time off work to show the cops it was fixed then go to the county courthouse, show the it's fixed paperwork and pay my $100.00 fine.
What a conjob or a little more accurate would be a corrupt revenue stream.

@Bob it use to be just a fix it ticket, then someone decided they had xxx amount of fix it tickets and if they fined you for it they could make a lot of money. It doesn't matter if it happened a second ago or a year ago. This is why in my area many people don't have insurance, they try then something stupid happens and they have to fix their car and pay a fine and insurance is the first thing to go. The cops don't care, it's money in the bank which means it looks good for them no matter what any police department says. If it didn't mean anything they wouldn't keep a running total easily accessible to the whole department.
If its just happened? Yeah I see what you're saying, but at night it's really dangerous to only be driving with one headlight, been thrown off before with people having their left headlight blown out, cause thought it was a bike.

I thought that was excessive overreaction and cammer acted like someone with mental issues. cases like that I just nod my head and drive away. The over honking of horn and clapping, screaming and yelling just sounded like a nut case to me. Yes the lady shouldn't have pulled out, but that's a mistake a lot of rookie drivers make all the time.

You've wished for someone to ease out far enough to see, notice the person flying down the a crowded road with blind corners, move their car as to not get tboned at the driver's door, then get pulled over for attempted to reduce their chance at being killed by you? That clip was definitely offensive driving and less defensive haha. The only reason it was so "close" was because she honked the horn instead of taping the brakes. The person turning should have stopped once they could see them (albeit partially in the road), but blind corners are a pain to get out. Still the turners fault but definitely some self important driver.
How come nobody ever does the "Karma Honk" like #25 anymore? It's so satisfying.

#15 is a sham. I got pulled over in Alabama for the same thing. Daring to pass a police officer who's breaking the law by sitting in the left lane not passing anybody. I was the only one willing to pass him. He pulled me over, said I was going 73 in a 70 zone.

As for that truck stuck behind that white SUV (2:46), I couldn't really say I blame him. That's happened to me more often than I care to remember. But he really did leap before he looked!
Once on a small county road, ahead was a flat bed trailer and it was stacked with wooden stairs, the kind they put in front of mobile homes. I notice the stairs starting to shift so I slowed down! The jerk behind me started honking, giving me the finger and as soon as on coming traffic past, he punched it and went around me, two minutes later the trailer lost it's contents and he ran right into all the stairs, I drove on the opposite shoulder and waved to him! It was GREAT!!!!!!

I like the convenient cop videos especially the red light runners, reckless driving, and improper lane changes and such, but these cammers getting all excited for someone just speeding (we all do it) or having a headlight out, gimme a break and calm down.
We do but there is a time and a place for stupidity, If I really feel the need to do 20 over I deserve to get nailed for it. As for non moviing violations ie lights I don't get excited about that. Especially if its a tail or brake light, most don't know it's out, headlights well most cops give a warning. Then again I'm at the track twice a month getting it out of my system, lol.

@@ThisisKyle Eh I feel like everyone does now and again. Sometimes the flow of traffic makes doing anything below 5 over a problem till you have a safe opportunity to move over. Some roads are designed for 1 speed, but have a lower limit than you'd think, or don't have good enough speed zone marking. Plenty of steep hills will have you over limit too unless you brake hard, which is worse on your car and could cause problems with people behind you.
But there's a difference in speeding a little under various circumstances, and speeding everywhere, riding tails, passing on double yellows, and weaving through traffic. One's an honest mistake, the other is "I'm the only one that matters".
The people yelling and screaming is the real fun here.

I remember once being on the highways going exactly the speed limit on cruise control, I saw a bmw going at least 30 over fly right past. Then I see a cop car. I start celebrating and the man pulls me over… when I tell him it was the bmw and it’s on dashcam, he claimed to smell weed, wasted an hour of my day and found nothing….

In Saskatchewan, base fine is tripled. After that girl from the maritimes was killed in a construction zone about 10 years ago, they cracked down hard, and rightfully so.
I think that’s a US city, on I-390 Northbound (hence NB) in New York State. Yes, fines are doubled in constructions zones in every US state, so, yeah, that guy got a pretty hefty fine. (I-390 is a spur off of I-90 and goes North/South, so it doesn’t follow the numbering convention of even numbered highway = East/West.)

Police should have actually pulled her over and given her a ticket. Super frustrating to be the truck driver behind a person who just doesn’t know what to do in a yellow light/clear intersection.

Yeah and not just the cost of the ticket but also having something on your record and your insurance going up... it's all not worth it. A lot of it is because it seems if you do any of it, always a cop there to at least give a warning. Yet you’ll see hundreds of others do it no issues. And yeah some places have a “not going on green” but not all. And it wasn’t a priority green - oncoming traffic had right of way.

@@adamr.kalucki4347 Guarantee the white car saw the cop and got all nervous and forgot how to drive. Goofy part is they weren't far enough into the intersection to begin with (again, probably because they saw the cop and got all stupid and nervous), so even if they'd gone the truck probably would have been late entering the intersection and the cop may still have pulled him over. Getting stuck behind people that mess up traffic patterns because they're nervous and or lousy drivers is a pet peeve of mine - they really do drive people to do stupid and impulsive things they wouldn't normally do.
