It's to be expected that your pain will never go away, but the fortitude of the human spirit can surprise us when we root ourselves in things that supply our lives with love and meaning and we tend to our health. When we're on the right path, it's not so much that the pain goes away, but it can really take a lot of that darkness and unbearable-ness out of it. Pain and trauma - that's a part of life's contract, that will come! But the salient, deep-rooted sense of darkness, resistance and dislocation? Those are aspects we have more control over and those are the aspects that when left to their own accord, can be much worse than the actual pain itself. I had a moment during the most difficult aspect of my life where something just clicked and I release d resistance to the crashing waves of pain, and from that day forward, I healed rapidly and all pain I experience now is - while still there, just the same - is immeasurably more bearable. It's the strength of our spirit to endure hardship that will pull us forward, not the cessation of pain. You are never ever alone. Sending love right back to you, darling.

I just shared this video - I loved your message on staying the course and being vigilant. It’s so easy to slack off and start to get sloppy with socializing - especially with extended family. Also, I just wanted to send my deepest sympathy for the loss of your daughter in 2018. I watched some of your early videos several years ago and then lost track of you. I found your channel tonight and was randomly watching several videos when I came to the ‘devastating news’ one. I watched it in disbelief, followed by lots of tears. As a mother of a 29 yo daughter, it was heart wrenching to hear your pain. Thank you for your strength and eloquence. I know your life has been forever changed and although time cannot heal this, I hope the intensity of your grief lessons as the years pass. You are amazing and I’m grateful you are still making and sharing your videos.

It seems too rushed, like the health establishment is putting all their bets on the first Gladiator to fight the lion. I don't get a flu shot and haven't had the flu in decades. It's too rushed and will be too untested. I have Hashimoto's Disease. The last thing I need is that virus stuck in me, even if it *is* dead. There is waaaaaay too much we don't know about it yet. Maybe in 8-10 years, if it's been proven effective and we aren't seeing dangerous side effects, I'll take it, but not now. Nope. Be well and God bless.

I have MS and the flu shot always makes me super sick, so my Doc already told me he didn't think the vaccine was a great idea - we shall see though - I'm at home all the time anyway, so i'll just stay shut up, safe and sound.

Masks (used properly) work. Social distancing works really well. Washing hands, especially before meals is also working wonders. And of course, the best thing is not playing germ-transmitting drunk games involving passing ice cubes from mouth to mouth :p
