UA-cam served this up, and I hit play because I was curious. And soon as the singer came on, I remembered it (oh yeah, that one). Can’t recall the last time I heard it. A long time ago, tho! Thanks!
Always liked this tune. The "I preach my dear friends..." intro was taken from a 1947 release by Red Ingle and his natural seven called "cigareetes, whusky, and wild, wild women".
🤣That intro! 😂It had me splitting a gut even though I couldn't quite understand all the words due to how he seemed to speak fast. I don't think I've heard this one before, of course I was only 3 years old when it came out.
I haven't heard this in decades. I do have this 45 record but is has been packed away with my other records for the last 30 years.

I love this! Subscribed. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
I love the intro to that song. Also, it's a song I converted from mono to stereo too.

I think i may of heard this one before. Not sure.
Interesting the actual record label did not include the word " hang" wonder if that was intentional?
This was played on the radio for dogs sake.
They lifted the intro from this: ua-cam.com/video/XJmR3DVKsSI/v-deo.html
You can get arrested for that!
