Dimash is amazing. We are blessed to be able to hear his skill and talent. He is so incredible at evoking emotions. It's as if he reaches into your and pulls those emotions out of you. He deserves such a bigger audience. I feel bad for people who haven't found him yet. It's not all about his wide range. First and foremost, it is about the meaning of the song. Dimash uses symbolism a lot in his songs. Half-way throught the song when he was doing the middle east/ethnic string of sounds, it is said that he was paying tribute to the former lead singer of the band he is playing with in this song who died a while ago, by incorporating a certain form of crying-like sounds, typically found with East-European/Asia minor funeral processions, possibly artistically "brushed" by him to make sense with the song. That passage had a spiritual dimension, quite apparent at least to people from Eastern Europe (like myself). One special reason for which I love Dimash, apart from his talent and vocal acrobatics is for the way he was raised: humble, considerate, hard working, always ready to help those less fortunate. A big "thank you" to his parents who brought up not only a talented singer, but a fine young man who honors the human species with his humbleness and altruism.
Respectly, Mr. Kudaibergen use his own "Turkic Melismas." This is not middle-eastern style. Dimash's father explaned it: Turkic Tuva/Sakha style. Dimash used Kazak singing technique. You can hear it from the all Turan group. Sakha people ( Russia) uses this technique too. Tuvan throat singing (Khoomei,xöömei in Tuvan) is one particular variant of overtone singing practiced by people in Turkic Tribes (one of them Tuva), Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Siberia. Dimash use the more modern version (for the last millennium) of these kind of Turkic vocal techniques named "makams" in "Know" and ""Hello".(İndia countries were under the dominition of Turkic Babur Empire more than 300 years. mid-east countries were under the dominition of Ottoman Empire more than 400 years. They were learned -little bit- this kind of styles from Turks. Even no more words for Balkans and and Asia Minor. These are our older hometown.) Also geographically, Any Turkic country is not in the middle east. Middle east is technically, south of Mediterranean between north of Sub-saharan.

I'm wondering for more than 2 years now, why the hack, he has such enormous influence on me (and some others)... Why we care for him so much? Why are his performances such magnet? I was newer "fan" before. I listen to different types of music ... but this, this is something else. Oh, and it seams nobody told you... many of Dimash's videos has subtitles!

He deserves such a bigger audience. I feel bad for people who haven't found him yet. It's not all about his wide range. First and foremost, it is about the meaning of the song. Dimash uses symbolism a lot in his songs. Half-way throught the song when he was doing the middle east/ethnic string of sounds, it is said that he was paying tribute to the former lead singer of the band he is playing with in this song who died a while ago, by incorporating a certain form of crying-like sounds, typically found with East-European/Asia minor funeral processions, possibly artistically "brushed" by him to make sense with the song. That passage had a spiritual dimension, quite apparent at least to people from Eastern Europe (like myself). One special reason for which I love Dimash, apart from his talent and vocal acrobatics is for the way he was raised: humble, considerate, hard working, always ready to help those less fortunate. A big "thank you" to his parents who brought up not only a talented singer, but a fine young man who honors the human species with his humbleness and altruism.
Respectly, Mr. Kudaibergen use his own "Turkic Melismas." This is not middle-eastern style. Dimash's father explaned it: Turkic Tuva/Sakha style. Dimash used Kazak singing technique. You can hear it from the all Turan group. Sakha people ( Russia) uses this technique too. Tuvan throat singing (Khoomei,xöömei in Tuvan) is one particular variant of overtone singing practiced by people in Turkic Tribes (one of them Tuva), Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Siberia. Dimash use the more modern version (for the last millennium) of these kind of Turkic vocal techniques named "makams" in "Know" and ""Hello".(İndia countries were under the dominition of Turkic Babur Empire more than 300 years. mid-east countries were under the dominition of Ottoman Empire more than 400 years. They were learned -little bit- this kind of styles from Turks. Even no more words for Balkans and and Asia Minor. These are our older hometown.)
Also geographically, Any Turkic country is not in the middle east. Middle east is technically, south of Mediterranean between north of Sub-saharan.

I'm wondering for more than 2 years now, why the hack, he has such enormous influence on me (and some others)... Why we care for him so much? Why are his performances such magnet? I was newer "fan" before. I listen to different types of music ... but this, this is something else. Oh, and it seams nobody told you... many of Dimash's videos has subtitles!
