Skip and Dan dreamt of owning a treehouse on Vashon Island, and when they found the perfect property, they decided it was time to make their dream come to fruition! In this video, Skip takes us on a treehouse tour, which has a wrap-around deck, ocean views, and a private beach. They use this treehouse as a glamping retreat and one-of-a-kind Airbnb.

Hopefully that didn't include your phone too! : )
Only thing missing for me would be a wood burner stove......it's a must have!!
*THIS* is the type of home I'd want to live in _full-time._ ( *MINUS* the outside bathroom and shower!) I _love_ the steps, the wrap-around porch... just *EVERYTHING.* It's like being a wood elf. What an enchanting and beautiful place! ❤️🌿

Tiny house, van life, RV, I'd prefer tree house over them. The dream of young at heart.

I definitely would like an indoor bathroom and shower...
Yes and no. Yes for the comfort, especially at night or when its too cold in the winter. But no, because then you lose out in the experience of being out in nature. Too bad they didnt have a small pond-like area or a marbled made jacuzzi or made out of nice pretty big smooth rocks with a waterfall for a shower right next to it. How awesome would that be for a outdoor bath and shower!! But the digging for area and building the pond like jacuzzi made with smooth pretty rocks would be too much. Like you wouldn't even need the plumbing with pipes....just boil some water in 2 or 4 big menudo sized pots add some regular water from the hose and some natural bath fizzing soap bombs and bubble soap bombs...
AND WAH-LA🧚♀️💫🏝🏞 Then release used bath water and power wash rinse the rocks when through. Easy.
I like the glass door that raises up as a garage door does to let the fresh air in. Yay for treehouses!!! 🤗🏠🤗 The compost toilet also gets the 👍.
I don’t know of any guy who wouldn’t want to own a treehouse like this one. I could live very comfortably inside this house. This treehouse also looks like something Pete Nelson would build for one of his treehouse’s.

I absolutely adore your place. Treehouses have always been a passion of mine. I’d love to visit sometime.
I love the place they put together and the guy on camera himself imbued the tour with peace and calm acceptance. I suggest they connect with some PNW therapists or groups to let them know such an unplugged experience is available for singles and couples.

I saw this after a restless night while feeling really blue with the upcoming anniversary of my husband's untimely loss followed 5 weeks later by my dad. I don't want to be a downer yet wanted to share how happy and peaceful I felt watching the owner of this incredibly beautiful and wimsical treehouse. He and his partner put so much love and thought into it you want to morph into the happy little getaway knowing how peaceful you'd feel. It was one of my favorite homes that I've seen and wanted to express what a wonderful host and tour. One day in my future I want to escape here with several books. : )

OMG I wish I was 20 yrs younger and I could do some glamping and I could walk well I would love to stay at your treehouse. Its suits me to a "T".
This reminds me of "Fox's Afloat", one of my favorite canal boaters. England's canal boats are like tiny homes, but they live in them and travel. Currently they are in Scotland awaiting a new boat. Great job guys!

Why don't you put up 3 walls with open bottom and top with maybe 3ft of coverage while showering.. That way they can have a modicum of privacy yet be in the open. Beautiful place!!! 👍

The treehouse is very nicy but there is indeed one question open. Where does Skip gets his glasses from? And also is he included im the price if you book a night.
What will happened if the trees grown up? Is that make the struckture broke? Sometime I want too build my own simple treehouse but i dont have any bio knowledge about how the trees grown. I'm only have knowledge to build something on the ground.

Very beautiful but I must know how did they permit this?! I have something very similar but the county will not allow it on Airbnb! Also the county here requires a septic despite having a composting toilet which makes no sense. Please share the permitting -thanks!
