Jabba the Mug hahaha so cool. I have the small arboreal with my P Regalis sling in it, I wish there was a little more room for substrate because it leaks when I overfill the water dish, and the sling likes to be at the base of the cork bark, but I really enjoy it too.
yes I learned the hard way with the large terrestrial one that the water kinda leaks out the bottom. if you want to hold humidity with a small amount of substrate you can add some sphagnum moss! I don’t keep pokies, but I’m under the impression that they don’t need much substrate so the moss you can kinda pile up in there to hold humidity!
Love these! Too long have invertebrate keepers kept their pets in tupperwares, shoe boxes, and ugly neon critter keepers. Glad to see the big brands showing inverts some love, like Zoo Med's creatures line and these zilla terrariums.
I first would like to say you have such a great energy 😁. I think if I ever get a Jumping Spider, I would for sure consider one of these. I really like the clean look of them. Thanks for the review! Have a great day!
I am absolutely in love with your personality I must say and i enjoy watching your videos your amazing. I've been on the fence with these enclosures. My only concern is the rubber bands. Rubber bands break down and their integrity is typically compromised within a short amount of time. I would imagine the possible loss of elasticity. Also My concern is the rubber will look discolored over a period of time as well. If you could be so kind and shed some light on the concerns about these points I would be ecstatic. I would love to know your experience and what your thoughts were on this matter. Thank you so much.
I've looked at those but haven't gotten one yet. I think Zilla was really trying to make a nice enclosure at the most affordable price point they could- if they were pre-assembled the cost probably would have gone up a lot. From what I see Zilla seems like a good company. I also totally agree the selection of arboreal enclosures is limited, especially front-opening ones. I will say that a lot of people get the small arboreal for their first jumping spider, but I read a lot of posts in FB groups of people having trouble with the gaps in those- mainly spider escapes or other mishaps. I assume this is largely in the case of slings.
Hi, I just got the Large zilla enclosure for my mantis. It was the only one available. I didn’t realize they had a smaller size. Do you recommend keeping the large or or returning it for the smaller size ? I’m so scared of her falling if she ever does molt. I did put flowers and sticks but it’s impossible to find mesh to put on the top so she could eat.
I love all the little aesthetics of each of rhe new ones

I like how easy it is to see your animals inside! Especially since that is how you are able to enjoy them and spend time with them.
This larger size is really nice, I hate seeing jumping spiders in a tiny space. My spiders explore everywhere! So I know they appreciate the space.
Wow huge change in size
Yay for upgrades!
Great review of the micro habitats. You have great decorating skills, btw where do you remember where you got the bubba hut base.
I love your tattoos can you do a tour sometime
Love the look of all the enclosures! Turned out really well!

Yes I’m so looking forward to upgrading all my critters into nice enclosures that lets me really enjoy them!

Thank you for the love!
More scorpions 🦂
Do they spill soil / moisture from the seams where the substrate is? Thanks in advance! 😬
