Taha has overshadowed everyone by his stellar performance so as to Heeramandi has become his series - its all about Tajdaar. ye "kahawaat Bhagwaan deta hai to chappar fadkar deta hai"- taha k liye khub jaach rahi hai ye kahawat..he is such an honest and a down to earth person...I am sure Kjo would be his next director
If SLB is the genius they describe him to be, then please explain why on earth he thought his niece could carry the role of Alam. Does not seem like the work of a cinematic genius bc we all as the audience can see she wasn’t right for the role.
While everything looked fantastic about this series, i feel like the plot somewhere fell apart. They spent 5-6 episodes trying to build the conflict amonst the tawaifs to drop it all in the last two episodes. It would've been a visual treat, if we could get to see fareedan avenging her mother and a good ending for waheeda.

I do have a curiosity though: I find your English accent oscillating between a mix of British-American and a very Mumbai-esque twang (with extremely strong t's, p's and r's), sometimes in the same phrase and even the same word. Is it your way of connecting better with your audience? Or, is it your natural accent? If the answer is the former, as your loyal audience, I would request you to tone it down. Fardeen was honestly so not impressive...he was earlier known for his looks, nor acting...not much has changed over the years. Still no acting skill & not attractive anymore

Despite having a dialect coach , they all still made a lot of mistakes in pronouncing words like khuda, khud, baghawat, etc. I was expecting it to be impeccable since it is SLB, but there was no attention to detail here sonakshi. and dont even get me started at how poorly Alam acted.
