This is by far the best demo I have seen of this technique and I have watched quite a few.

Great catch, cat like reflexes. Bubble chains are great but, as you know, you have to hold on tight.

This is awesome. In ideas for outdoor use?

We think so too! You could scale up the design by using a lamp stand, a larger foil, and larger round latex balloons, just remember to weigh it down in case of high winds! 🎈

Hi there! Is there something in particular you're finding challenging?

Is the stand heavy enough to use outdoors?

Hi Melissa! We wouldn't recommend using this one outside as it's likely not heavy enough. It also can't be weighed down as it'd interfere with the design.

What size is the pole and base used on the stand? And would it hold a 20” bubble on the top instead of a foil?

Hi Michelle, The base is made from a 200mm x 200mm x 18mm piece of MDF which I had cut for me. The dowel is 600mm by 9mm. you can get 4 out of a 2400mm length. It was painted with emulsion paint to tone with the balloons. And yes, it would easily support a bubble (indoors).
