- We receive our first pair of the Wilson Audio SabrinaX speakers. These replace the very successful Sabrina speakers.
The SabrinaX features numerous improvements based on the DNA of the XVX Chronosonic speakers, including an enclosure that is made entirely of the latest X-material, diode/spike system, AudioCapX capacitors and binding posts. The tweeter is the same one found in the top of the line WAMM Chronosonic, while the woofer is identical to the Sasha DAW.

What associated equipment for synergy do you recommend with SabrinaX ---- preamp, amp, dac, seaker cables? Gorgeous looking and the right size -- not too big and not too small for floor standers! Looking forward to your sound impressions!
Moon separates especially if you want that creamy smooth glorious sound.
As for cables, it’s hit and miss. Maybe contact Wilson for cable recommendations.

Very cool. As close to (new) Wilson as I'll get. I'm looking forward to the listening impressions. Please also include what you'd consider the upper and lower levels of amplification for the speakers.
With all the engineering going into the x, this and that material etc how hard would have been to hide the screws on the drivers? My pet peeve.
Wilson Speakers are broken in at the factory, according to their build process tour recently released by Darko Audio. What am I missing?

The binding posts are very close to one another. With some cables that might cause issues. I wonder why they did it. Should not be like this on a well thought out product and makes me wonder where else they did not think it through...
After deciding on the Grande Avant Garde, Jay will now be in big trouble when he listens to the SabrinaX!

Sabrina x and tune tot would be much better. More upgrades. I’d guess Yvette’s will be upgraded or replaced soon. Just my 2 cents.

How do these sound with the Hegel 390
The original Sabrina's were listed at $16,500. I read in 2 publications that the SabrinaX would be $18,500, but now find out that they will cost about $29,000. What happened?

What is that rough irregular edge shown at 4:18 through 4:27, just below the gold and black name plate, lower left corner?
Not certain, however it appears it's likely the static cling protective wrap ... whereas some areas are folded over and some not.
Great.. so you don't have to open them up to replace 'em. WATCHING

Tuff competition from Magico A3. When I heard original Sabrina the top end was designed to be rolled off mising treble detail from say Dynaudios and Wilson's higher model Sasha!

Ive always hated the look of Wilsons tweeters... they just look cheap, regardless, that its as high end as it gets... ...
The shape is the same as the Mattel logo... Yes, the toy manufacturer ... its just cheesy to me... there overall speakers are beautiful... definitely Classy... but the tweeter... polar opposite!!! JMHO... Thanks for the great videos...
Looks like a ScanSpeak revelator mid and Scan Speak woofer.
Okey So they design their own driver but are made by Scan Speak.
Look at the cone and the position of the screw holes.
