I love your single jar way of making things. It is my preferred method. I like the same amounts of ingredients per jar. Thank you for all that you do .

Lorrie that looks so fabulois and delicious! I haven't had clam chowder in a very long time. I never knew it could be this easy to make. 100 minutes for pints? Im writing this recipe in my notebook! Many Blessings and much love to you and Roger! 🧡🙏🏻

Sorry for the delay in response.....my schedule is still all out of whack here.
Heavy cream....half and half....and milk....are all done the same exact way. I have a video on canning milk.

Just found your channel. Love this, I have alot of squash to take care of. Have you ever tried this method with collard greens?

You have replied on my clam chowder video....but I'm assuming you are talking about the vinegar/sugar brine I use for summer squash?
No, I haven't tried that brine with collard greens.....but I do have test jars of asparagus and green beans on my shelves right now.
Can't share the results until I reach 1 year storage time however.
Collard green are very dense after blanching them....not sure if I would feel comfortable suggesting the brine and shortened time. Not sure if would penetrate correctly through the densely packed greens.
Not the answer you were hoping for....but I want everyones canned goods to be safe for themselves and their families.
Unless I have successfully tried it myself first....I just can't suggest it at all. God bless! 🥰

Hey Laurie…..Thanks for all the good info. Question……Do you save and reuse the Clam Juice jars? If so, what do you use them for? Thanks again!

The brand I use doesn't have the type of lug lids that screws on well for resealing in heat canning.
However, those jars still work well for home made vinegar or vanilla which doesn't need to be sealed. 🥰

Are the clams minced, chopped, or geisha clams ? Please mention more about the clams. Are they raw or cooked ? This project on hold until I know more about the clams.

Mine were pre cooked clams. I don't have access to raw.
