Highly recommend! This system saved my bacon last weekend. On the return leg home of a camping weekend, I had one of my four TT tires lose over 30 psi in a stretch of 2 lane highway. The area is isolated in that it’s a long way from one small town to another but the highway itself is quite busy with no real way to get off the road in a hurry it you have a blowout. By getting a notification from my Tire Minder Smart, I was able to slow my speed to minimize tire heat and limp to a safe spot to pull off and add air. Had I not gotten the notification from Tire Minder, I’d likely have had a blowout in one of those situations where you really don’t want to be.
I have purchased. Am ready to install but the one section that has me confused was just barely discussed: where and how do I install the signal booster? With the zip ties? What does it attach to?? Thx
Anywhere on the trailer/ fifths or tow vehicle. I only have mine temporarily mounted so I can remove when not in use. I mounted mine where my solar battery bay is and antenna pointed towards the tow vehicle. God Bless and safe travels.
I wish someone would show the actual attaching of the booster. I can't be the only one who has no idea the best way/place to do this. I am not mechanical in any way and have not had any luck finding anyone who will do it for me.
How do you have the booster connected? I can't tell from the video. It just looks like you made some brackets and clipped them there, but how are those powered? Like others, this is the step I am not getting.
Hi Eric! Please see the following information for more information on how to install the signal booster: support.tireminder.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046344871-TireMinder-Signal-Booster-Installation-Instructions. The booster is powered by 12V or 24V, which the alligator clips can be connected directly to the battery for power. It states right on the box COMPATIBILITY WITH iPhone , iPad & Android Devices. So of course it doesn’t work with Motorola.
