I thought I saw Daggerwin having his own little disco party there... Must have been a good song on the tractor radio.

Really enjoying the cooperative survival series, enjoying your commentary as well! It’s so much fun to see your precision approach to building up the farm, and to see Daggerwin’s bumbling at times approach. You two compliment each other well in your content. I hope you two continue to make these videos for a long time!

I’m pretty sure Dag doesn’t want to do live chat so he doesn’t hear Chainsaw asking him wtf he’s doing all the time.

Its probably not that, more so that Daggerwin has his preferred style of play, and if he is concentrating on live voice as well he will not concentrate on the game even more. Some of us quietly (some not so quietly) enrage when we watch Daggerwin doing things that makes no sense. I have the opinion he would do so even more if he was concentrating on live voice at the same time.
I guess Daggerwin keeps some of us coming back to watch his content because we are intrigued on what he will do next that doesnt immediately make sense.

I know there is a mod that lets you pick up pallets with just the front loader. It will look like you have forks when you pick up a pallet. No forks required. So decided not to buy the sprayer or was it gone. I also think you need to spend some money doing some landscaping around greenhouses and the tract between the fields leading to the sale points. I haven't watched Daggerwins video yet but if he didn't weed the field planted last episode. Then you're going to need a sprayer to knock down the weeds. I really think a sprayer would have been more beneficial to your operations at this point than a lager lime spreader. Any enjoyed the video and I actually enjoy your videos. We just need to get you up to a 100k followers.

It interests me so much in the difference in playstyles between you and Daggerwin. It's been said hundreds of times. Any chance of getting a full modlist Chainsaw? Wanna try this start from scratch out for myself.

Should just reseed that tiny field take it as a lose. Clean up the area. I would even move the track to the other side

Maybe you could plant the whole field near the greenhouses with grass. It would get it all as 1 field, and you could use the silage gear that you've only used once

I know it costs some money, but I think it might be worth just landscaping the area around the greenhouses to nail down its area properly, to avoid shenanigans like drilling too close, etc. And hopefully y'all can make that small field into one soon; killed me that Daggerwin drilled it last episode lol.

Landscaping that area with the grass texture or the forrest ground texture will cost max $1000 (or pounds) for the entire area from the rocks to the river and over to the bridge and your yard. Its negligible. Now if you were to do it as concrete, then it would cost more like $4-5000 (or pounds) which is a bit harder tio justify at this stage of your game. But the grass and forrest ground textures cost much less to do. Meadow grass just for an area about the size of your two greenhouses, that is really expensive at $14-16000 (or pounds).
I know it, because that entire area is my yard, and where my silage pit is, and chicken pen. Its also where I plan to put sheep and other productions later. I have also ladnscaped with forrest texture all the area on the same plot above the rocks, and removed all the trees to make space for productions later.
Also with Precision Farming, to maintain your PH score, you do need to apply lime after every harvest. It wont comsume anywhere near as much if you do. That whole sorghum side might consume 1000-1200 lime, or less even to bring its PH back to perfect. If you dont recoat with lime every harvest you loose yield and precision farming score... Which in turn means less profit from the bonus. You guys didnt recoat the lime on the last drilled field either.
Unlike non-PF games, where you dont need to apply lime every crop cycle, you do with PF enabled.
I have that same plot as 2 halves, and I have not removed any of the trees yet. But I did just create a super huge field which took about 6 real life hours to plough (and I was using workers to help, Ploughing I had to do as the worker said no field found, and then I had to clean up after the worker for the bits it missed and the stones it didnt seem to hit with the roller), lime, seed, and roll with my 5m wide seeder, 6m wide roller, and 9m wide plough/subsoiler. Liming didnt take much time, but thats because I have the tank with the 6m spreading unit configured for 14000L of lime since I dont have a tractor strong enough to pull it with more, my tractors stuggle with 14000L of lime on a flat surface. But that field, about 60% of it was new created as an extension, the other 40% was freshly harvested. The 60% new created bit took about 13000 lime to coat it. The 40% that was a fresh harvest of Sorghum took about 1200L in total to recoat with lime.
Its December Year 2 for me now, and I am in progress of cycling all my fields with Soybeans to prepare for a monster payday in June year 3 (Hoping for a yield of at least 200,000L of Soybeans). I have a monster payday either this Month or in January as I have saved up a decent chunk of silage (700,000L still processing the last 250K grass), as well as a good 60000L of flour. Already sold my Eggs and Bread for a combined about 70K. So doing well so far. In case anyone is wondering, I own 5 plots now. But holding off on the 6th until I replace my harvester and get a meaty tractor. And maybe a decent stone picker too, since I want to throw down the Lime production to turn stones to lime as PF doesnt use much lime after the first initial coat, lime production should be able to keep up with it after plough/subsoil.

Ya know.. i'm disappointed in the size of that field... you don't have the equipment to operate that field efficiently.. why not just acknowledge defeat, and split it into 2/3 fields?
