Absolutely LOVE this series. I watch re-runs every chance I get. Great story line; great characters; perfect actors. Whenever I need a laugh and a spiritual "pick me up" this is the show I turn to.
My favorite Mike moment was when Frankie was complaining how he wasn't social enough, so Mike takes a cue from Brick's training on listening. Mike is talking to all kinds of people he wouldn't have. One of the women who was attending their party is talking to Mike and she ends up making a pass at him. lol He didn't want to talk to people but his wife got him to do it.
In season 1, when Sue is selling sausage and cheese, they show a map of Indiana, and they have Warsaw in the lower eastern corner of the state. Warsaw, IN is actually about 42 miles northwest of Ft. Wayne. They have Orson where Bloomington should be on the map. Also in the state of Indiana, it is illegal for car dealerships to be open on Sundays and major holidays and lastly we only have one known wild bear in Indiana and it's a black bear. In the camping episode they use a brown bear or grizzly bear. I still love the show and wish it had gone at least another season or two. Another thing they got really wrong in every season is they have snow from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Central and southern Indiana rarely have snow during this time, especially in southern Indiana where Orson is located. I grew up in and around Indianapolis, but have been living in southern Indiana for quite some time and I'm near 60 and can't remember the last time I saw a "White Christmas" with real snow accumulation. We usually don't get snow from central to southern til January to February.
Behind the scenes? Not rambling interviews! It really feels like im the only person in the world that wants to watch scenes actually being built and lit and actors hitting there mark etc.
Ya I kind of agree with that a little, in the beginning say the first 3 years and then it got weird and annoying, sometimes hard to watch, you can tell the writers struggle what to do with him.
Brick is not the average kid sure but someone has got to take the weird ones. Because why have 3 kids all the same? The Neurodivergent, quiet and quirky kids need a place too. Brick is a person with feelings too. ❤ I love Brick and you only hate him because you don't understand him, maybe put your hate aside and try to understand him as a person.
@anniehale5507 he was a cute kid for the first 5 years then it got stupid, it's obvious the writers didn't know what to do with him, the jokes with him was not funny, like young Sheldon, it just got disturbing,
I laughed so hard at the part where the casting agent said. You have a baby boy and he is so cute and cuddly and SWEET, then one day you have a Axl. No truer words are ever spoke.
Not all teenagers are like this. But any child who thinks their too good for they're pearents are. It's no understatement that when pearents make love;, teenagers don't want to know about that. And teens don't want their pearents involved in their love life. Period.
@@kathymyers7279 Thank you. To be honest; I didn't get into The Middle until my mother passed ftom Stage IV Overian cancer. Episodes ran on the TV, in the hospital lounge..I loved the middle since then. I watched it 6 times in a row. All 9 seasons.

This is what TV should be. Heartwarming; fammily friendly comedy. Too bad Hollywood has changed a lot since The Middle; Everybody Loves Raymond, etc.
