The shoelace one got me the bloke didn't take the piss the young lad will never forget that
The patience shown while showing the young man to tie his boots was Saint Level.
Michael McIlvain yeah it weren’t funny others were having a laugh but the geezer showing him obviously cared
Dude, I teared up listening to those guys laughing at the kid. There's nothing funny about that.
This bloke is a legend. Such a caring geezer. Think he needs to be found.
That's a man that wants his friends to succeed
@James Parker you'd be surprised how little some parents care about their children...
Real respect to both gentlemen at 4:00 you are both real men.. it takes balls to have all them people watching you while you try learn how to tie ya shoes up.. and big respect to the guy that was teaching him.. staying calm and not at any point getting funny or angry or even taking the piss..
I can only imagine the real heart ache the guy must have been going through while all these other jokes of men watch and laugh...
People understand that unless we actually help each other out were the ones that are going to get screwed over....
So let's start looking after each other.. it dont cost a thing to led a hand or teach/ learn something. We all going through some stuff and we need to just be human...
Good man. I wish more people had your attitude
Well said mate I'll live this way
Shout out for the bloke learning him how to do shoe laces .
Lots of respect 👍👍👍👍
The kid struggling to tie his laces might have dyspraxia. My son suffers from it and it took us ages to teach him. Good on the kid for not getting frustrated and having a meltdown. And a massive pat on the back for the fella who took time out to teach him. Buy that chap a pint.
I hope that young man succeeds in everything he does. Top man for helping him.
There's loads of geezas like that old fella helping the young lad out, seem tough and cold but they'll help you out no matter what as you're learning, they don't have to do it so big respect
For me it helped coming in at an older age, everyone knows your not gonna fall for their bullshit tricks because you already know them all. Whenever your asked to do something that you haven't heard of before take a second to run it through your head on where it might be going, you'll figure it everytime.
I still talk to my first foreman from one of my 1st big sites nearly 20yrs ago. The big glass tower blocks at vauxhall Station next to mi6.
He's retired and nearly 70 now. He was a bastard on site but a lovely bloke in the pub and out of work.
And I'd still help him out if he needed it. ✌🏻
I feel for the lad who's parents couldn't be arsed to teach him laces. Getting that working education 💪.
It was sad to see, nice to see the lads try and help him though I hope does well in the trades if he decides to continue
It's hard to watch lol .
I’m actually glad they didn’t take the piss out of him ngl I do love the banter on sites but sometimes it’s a bit much, glad they helped him instead of taking the piss
The apprentice was probably a good lad so they gave him the help his parents clearly couldn’t be arsed to give him, we all like taking the piss but it has a time and a place,. Good effort gents!
@@jackjustjack7389 banter builds character but trades are about teaching the younger lot as much as you can to help them. It's like a second family in a way
Unexpected wholesomeness experienced at 4:00 mark. What a legend the guy is who is teaching the young man how to tie his shoelaces. Hats off to both of them
This. It’s easy to take the piss out of the lad but it’s not his fault if he had no-one to teach him, it was nice to see the older bloke help him learn and not be an arse
The British education system has a lot to answer for.
The guy showing the young guy how to tie his boots is a hero. He was so patient and understanding that the boy probs never got taught by his parents. Well done sir.
I actually feel sorry for the kid who couldn't tie his own shoelaces. Probably never had a dad.
Why a dad have to be the one to show how to tie laces lol I know what you mean though, no one taught him.
Yeah it probably shouldn’t of been on here tbh
@@detectivekelly5854 Yea but it shows a small change happening to us today compared to 20 years ago. Same with people who cannot read or write or are disabled. Attitudes toward these people and things are for the better today and hope it continues that way.
Jesse Bella I agree. Help others
haha shouldn't be onna building site if he can't time his own laces
I felt for the kid who couldn’t tie his laces.
I do just to think he got to that age and never had a responsible adult to teach him.
Same man
Daniel Finch sad isn’t it, I have a lot of respect for the guy teaching him he could of been a dick and took the piss but he didn’t
Respect to that tradie
You sure about that the little prick is out building houses 🥵
Shout out the top fella teaching the young lad how to tie shoelaces...He is obviously a father, something the lad likely never had. Top man!
3:40 dude helping this guy learn to tie his shoe should get some kind of award and a raise!
Good on you Sir.
The shoelace one wasn't a fail!
The fact that the lad could not tie his own laces shows some of the standards of Parenting some of our young men and women have experienced. Great skills for the guy teaching, patience of a saint and so calming. Hope the lad does well in construction and is successful in his future.
The clip of the guy helping him tie his shoe laces is so wholesome
Shocking the lad doesn't know how to tie his shoelaces. Blame the parents!!!!
They probably don’t know either 🤣
Nick I remember being taught to tie shoe laces at school not at home! Blame the education system
@@Sam-qh1sh I got taught at home, and I taught my daughter at home. Could be different in different areas.
Might of grown up in care. He was only a pup.
Agree it's sad to watch though.
The guy showing the young boy how to tie his shoe laces was brilliant. You know what. I expect there more people like this young guy in the building industry than any one expects but this guy not laughing at him but taking 5 mins out his day to help could build this young guys confidence to make great things happen by just showing him how to tie his shoe laces. Well done fella
This is exactly why young people should be spending less time wasting in schools that don't give a shit and instead should be doing apprenticeships
Been saying that for years mate
It should be a choice. If you want to drop out at a certain age then you can as long as you take an apprenticeship in something.
If the loons reckon a child is able to pick its sex as soon as its old enough to talk then I don't see a problem with a 15yr old pursuing thier interests in a career. ✌🏻
The leek is right there🤣🤣🤣
So difficult to know what to say about the lad unable to do his laces. It's tragic in so many ways. Hopefully he learned more than how to tie them. Fair play to the man trying to help.
The shoelace guy. What a gent
Well done to the guy showing the dude how to tie up his laces - we all have things to learn and that guy was a gent! Well done sir! I’d buy the guy a pint for how he helped that kid!
Fair play to that fella helping the kid with his laces. That's a real man's man there. Painted himself in a much better light than the lad taking the piss.
You can tell the guy teaching that one how to tie his laces was a dad, very patient, nice one mate
poor lad with his laces, bless him
I don't really see the shoelace as a fail, if anything it's a massive win. That guy teaching is a master with patience, and I bet that poor lad must have been so embarrassed to ask for help, but he did anyway. Then he goes on to only get it done! That was honestly heartwarming.
That lad in the red puffer jacket getting laughed at is gold. I bet he shit talked his way through school, started some proper work, was clueless and just danced around.
Harry and Floyd showing up was amazing!!!
Aww love him❤️❤️ don't ever take piss out of someone who can't do what you take for granted. Maybe he's never been taught, so if you have be thankful someone cared enough to teach you
Wee guy learning to tie his laces was epic man well played.
I can place myself in a LOT of these clips, but the shoelace bit was something else. Both the student and the teacher deserve admiration for that.
Love the leek under the sink gag!
That shoelace bit was very painful to watch 😂
And this is why all new builds immediately collapse
What a shame nobody taught that lad how to tie his shoelaces before.😢
Great bloke showing him.
Unbelievable how many parents can't be arsed to see through teaching kids who to tie shoes.
3.00. Best site manager ive ever seen or met. Good man.
Love to the guy who took the time to help the man learn to tie his boots.
Some laughs i have had on the sites. The characters you meet. 😂😂😂😂
2:30 Damn, I didn't expect to be moved by a clip on an 'On The Tools Fails' compilation. This was wholesome.
Have to say FairPlay to the man who helped the kid learn to tie his shoelaces. Honestly. FairPlay
My parents were always teaching me something, dock leaves to rub on a stinging nettle rash, cut away from you. tie shoe laces one to secure your shoe the other to not trip over the lace. I worked with my father was a works Superintendent of large construction projects, he would rib the youngsters rotten and wouldn't let them stand around. But he did it with care and many followed him around projects for years. Most of the ribbing was to get the guys to listen and think. The company also took in disabled people and gave them jobs as store keepers etc. but would push them to do that bit extra to prove them selves, they were always treated with respect and any one not would be reprimanded.
One saying my father had was.
If you can't do a person some good, do them no harm.
7:26 he probably thought it could connect via Bluetooth
Props 🙏 to the tie your boot teachers!! 💯 respect!
The "Leek" one is amazing 🤣🤣
I love apprentices, love good gaffers that take the time to help these lads
The kid with the pressure washer must think everything has Bluetooth connectivity these days 😂😂
I felt really bad for the poor shoelace kid!
Most of the time these lads make hard work for themselves
The fancy dress at the start lol lads look mortified 🤣
Mind, you do get some great laughs on manual jobs. It’s the only thing that keeps you sane especially in factories
Jeez this is our future workforce... we're in trouble
Poor guy does not even know how to tie his shoes .Great parenting .
The shoe laces kid wasn't funny at all, I actually felt sad for the poor lad and I hope he makes something of himself in the future. Top man for teaching the lad and not laughing 👍
The paddy with the leek 😂
Nvq in shoe tieing 👌🏻
Can we have an update on shoe laces lad
hats to the guy showing the boy how to tie his laces.. u sir should are a credit to the company
I can’t believe these people walk amongst us on sites
0:39 next to the glazing!!! I almost had a heart attack👀
Dad the leek is right therts! Brilliant LOL
I think I’ve forgotten how to tie my own laces now
Honestly mate it’s just muscle memory I can’t explain it
Grown azz men cant tie his shoes, i cant😂
Bravo sir for taking the time to show the young man how to tie a shoe younlads laugh but that was great !!!!!!!
Fair play to the bloke showing how to tie his boots
Well played to the geezer who showed someone how to tie his laces. Bet people were taking the piss out of him, and this guy had enough and taught him. My kind of guy
The guy with the pressure washer? 😂😅
I see why everyones mentioning the shoelace bit. I was gonna but you all beat me to it
2:25 and they are saying the construction industry is lacking talent... hahahah
What kind of parents let their kid grow up and get to working age without being able to tie shoes? And fair play to the fella for trying to show him. More patience than me
The leek 😂😂😂😂😂
that 1st clip is in the town crier in chester i believe
You know what’s sad is the guy filling the bucket with water was probably told to do so by his boss
Thing is, the kid didnt know how to tie his shoes, was funny but on some levels not so, good patience shown. Cant help but wonder though how you get to that age without ever having to have tied a shoe lace.
I feel bad for the kid who was clearly never taught how to tie a shoe lace.
The shoelace one was sad poor lad
As an American, the “leak” one took me way too long. As long as it took the Dad, p much. Lol.
He'll be site manager in a month shoelace boy
Who the fuck manages to get to adulthood without learning to tie shoes.
What environment was this poor lad brought up in?
His mucker on site was being a better dad than what he grew up with
3:05 the new younger generation these days xxD
Not sure how the shoe lace one was a fail, lad just never had someone to teach him but was trying to learn. That's not a fail.
Liked the leak.
Good lad showing him how to tie his boots. Old enough to work on site but nobody ever taught him How to tie them. Sad really
The leek is the best hahaha
How did that kid get is cscs card when he can't tie his own laces wtf😂😂😂😂😂
3:24 wonder why construction has the highest injury/fatality rate in any indrustry 😂
First lads in fancy dress was best
I don't really get it why are they in fancy dress?
@@TomTomTomTom538 it's probably a Christmas piss up and the boss told the two apprentices it's fancy dress and they fell for it. kind of thing my old boss would do.
Fair play showing him how to lace his boots.
Just glad they weren't filming "Porta Loo potty-time". Would have been a step too far.
You thought tieing shoelaces was hard wait until next week when he's trying to tell the time ?
Yes there are alot of people that need patience and alot of good people who will teach. Also alot of impatient areshole gatekeepers who put off a hundred good prospects a year. My first couple of years in groundworks where some of the most stressful of my life and its so hard for a mentally balanced person to put of up the toxicity from some people. Some old boys are great but most I can't wait for them to retire! Then more people will be interested when there not being treated like shit!
leek under the sink, looooooooooooooool
I fell for the young chap trying his laces , and fair play to the man showing him , .. what was going on with the van driving on the plywood over the hole surprised it got out okay , and the chap who couldn't hook up a pressure washer some are funny but just goes to show how the youth have little to know knowledge of tools and construction , and I'm sure they're not all from towns and cities , We need more practical real world teaching in school to be prepared for the real world, driving skills and how to work with tools and the construction industry , keep the big maths and advanced computer stuff for who ever wants to do office jobs or whatever but give the lads who want to get out building the cities of the future a chance too 👍
Is this a grown man learning to tie his boots ? Parents failed him
What was that guy at 6:30 actually trying to do lol
Cant wait to tell my bird about this when i get home ? Ok buddy tell your bird you make fun out of kids trying to learn
Apprentice can’t tie their shoe lace? WTF have they been wearing for last 15 years of their lives? Velcro? 😂
So thats what happened to mr Burges from the snaper
I gen up feel sorry for him
