**I know did not play Horizon in the video. Right before I started, I decided last minute to use Wattson as I thought would be a better pick as she is more difficult to get in and out of a fight**
I hope you find this video truly helpful and leave a like if you want more of it! Today's video is real gameplay of 5 back to back games solo on Apex Legends. This is the real results of solo queuing. Not fancy gameplay. But to showcase the reality when you solo queue and what happens. The goal is to educate and provide tips on what happens during the hard parts of Solo queue no fill. We did have a decent round 3, But not everything round is perfect. Sometimes RNG comes into play. That is is okay. I edit parts down very slightly to save time on getting to the tips and some of the action.

This was honestly the most helpful thing I have ever watched, most videos just talk about how to take very specific fights and they only voice out how they outplayed a squad, but you really got the whole big idea and taught me the overall mindset on how you should play, so thank you so much for making this videos

    • @TigerTabCat1
      @TigerTabCat1 2 роки тому +2

@@Windspren agreed I think the mindset is really the hardest hurdle here and it’s explained really well. Also, it’s encouraging to see that not all the fights he takes are super clean. Usually the 1v1 where both sides are aware of each other and start with similar hp, the winning side is badly wounded. Or that a decent chunk of the kills were on enemies that were surprised, already knocked, or low hp - which is impressive because it shows how powerful game smarts are and that you don’t necessarily need to be an fps god to achieve good games.
Though, his movement mechanics are on a whole other level. If I can focus on learning his game sense and movement mechanics, I think that would carry an average player like me incredibly far.

@@iamabotdude5545 I find that with my kill go win ratio. I get a lot of high kill games I find going for kills the most fun. I lose mostly to third party in the end or being caught out healing. I've starting solo dropping duos as trio I'm no where near that good. I was afraid of my kd dropping but now that I'm fully focused on ranked as long as that's high it'll level out the deaths from solo que. I'm hoping to keep this solo challenge going for the rest of this season in hopes of it helping me in the future.

I've been playing solo no fill for the last 9 months or so. I started out of frustration with team mates, played duos no fill and managed to get a win and never stopped. The satisfaction you get from wiping a squad solo vs trios is better than any ranked experience.

After digesting this video multiple times I’d like to personally say thank you so much, I play Crypto I’m not horrible at all I have a 1.5kd but I’ve always struggled with decision making split second and this taught me how to properly commit and take a fight, disengage and reposition, most of all was capitalizing on mistakes the enemy makes such as Isolating enemy teams and forcing teams into favorable positions for myself. Daz Truly bro you are goated finally after 2.5k kills on crypto you’ve helped me get my 20 bomb and 4k it’s so euphoric when you see your hard work to improve pay off

Great video! I read the exchange you had about the guy who said only hot drop to get better. I 100% solo and struggling with engaging too deep putting me in the middle of the fight instead of what you demonstrated. I also loot too long, don't decide to engage or disengage quickly enough. I also struggle with realistic expectations when every video is a 20 bomb 4k damage win from a lot of creators. Makes me wonder why it doesn't happen to me often enough. Showing 5 straight games is reassuring that I'm not terrible. To me the drop and fight fast is the easy part. The hard part is once everyone is holding hands, purple and red armors, and my squad is dead. Thank you!

Thanks, this is useful. I've been wanting to try the game but due to having quite a bit of social anxiety (and worrying that I'll just sabotage the team by some weird screw up or - other often illogical fears of failure) I haven't dared to hop on to play with strangers, so this at least lets me try it out and the only person who pays the price for my failures is me haha.
Maybe even find it in me to build up some confidence and queue with others

This play style will definitely keep you alive but when you do play with randoms keep in mind a lot of times they’re brain dead. They will push right in between two squads then blame you for there death. Once you got solos down then you can be confident in your own plays. That way you won’t take it to heart when they inevitably blame there team for there own stupid choices.

    • @99999george

I was the same as first. Just play trios and mute your team for a while, though you will find most won't even talk, especially if you don't talk to them. Don't mute pings and communicate on text if you can. I wouldn't recommend duos as you make up 50% of the team so your decisions matter more.
You could also try playing pub arenas, just to get experience playing with others. People are usually just warming up for ranked arenas or BR and most people mess up a round here and there. Arenas has crappy matchmaking so expect complete idiots and often cheaters. These things can often overshadow any flaws in your own performance and allow you to relax a little. If anyone does get annoyed with you in arenas, just tell them to play ranked if they give so much of a shit.
Whenever Control is an available game mode, take advantage of it. No one within your team of 3 ever communicates besides through pings.
I recommend playing with others (unmuted) as soon as you can though as it makes a huge difference in how much you learn about playing the game. I had a 0.3 KD the first season I started playing, when I was only ever playing with my girlfriend. The following seasons I also played with randoms and have got so much better at the game. I can't carry a squad yet so my winrate still sucks as randoms do tend to be unreliable, but my KD almost doubles every season. That's down to playing both pubs and ranked with randoms, solo and with a premade. I still don't talk to randoms via mic unless they seem nice, but playing with other people is important for learning the game, as it is a team game after all.

It comes down to a bit of RNG, game three was the cleanest and staying in the action. Others were difficult to find a good moment. Especially the first game. Its pubs, but as you can tell my lobbies were littered with preds abd master level players. So its like playing ranked solo.

Great content Dazs. I'd say one of the biggest reasons I was able to jump to Masters was because I play a ton of solo no fill, and still do.
It's hands-down the best way to improve game sense, along with spending time on aim training, but unfortunately it's too daunting for most players. But for those who really want to improve at the game though, it is the way to go! Even better, don't use an easy escape legend like Wraith which so many people resort to doing. Wattson, Bloodhound, Fuse, etc. are fantastic for getting as much as possible out of the solo no fill experience.

@@nozomu8686 If your aim is decent, in other words you can win most of your 1v1 encounters, then I'd recommend starting right away with trios no fill. Duos is easier, but it's also less realistic to the game's 3-squad nature, so I don't recommend duos for optimal learning.

I really loved to hear you analyze when to push and loot. Rant in the beginning emphasizing why to move a lot really made my eyes open.
I've never seen gameplay like that before where someone analyzes should you push or not and why. I find it helpful to hear those time constraints you have in decision making. Those help a lot and it is easy to understand that few seconds really make the difference. That's when opponent has time to pop a shield or battery. Throwing nades helps a lot in that.
It was great to witness how you did rotate around enemy teams to get different angles to engage. I've struggled with that.
It was very helpful to notice how you took streak of five games to see how things work out. Other streams usually try to see everything from one game.
Thank you for the stream! 🙂

For those of you saying and thinking "just hot drop in pubs to get better" - I 100% agree
But I want to reinforce the fact Dazs cleary states in the first 25 seconds of his video that he's teaching us how we can clutch up as a solo* no-fill and improve our 'game sense' efficiently. Although I enjoy ego-challenging every player I encounter, the reality is that my aim/mechanics just aren't as good as theirs. I'll stay working on it but there's actually a lot more ways we can improve at this game outside of 1v1s and hot dropping. Also, this is NOT a camp in the end-zone...where you don't fight until the last ring strat - by any means.
What I'm trying to say is that Dazs is showing us a great example of how we can apply the right decision making to win our fights against full 3-mans who have the same skill level as us, if not better. And he's doing it as Wattson vs a legend like Octane/Wraith etc. If you're a verified movement god or you're an aimbot since it's coded into your nervous system then do whatever you want because you'll always stomp over 90% of the lobbies you're in. But the vast majority of us aren't...even though we like to believe we are! 😂
Regardless where you fall on the spectrum...there's actually a lot good nuggets in this video if you pay attention.
I'd challenge you guys to try pulling this off as a solo - still having presence...just knowing when to engage...when to disengage...but don't use a movement legend!!!

Try to get as much damage/kills as you can but only play 5 games like Dazs did and live with the results.

Great video i learned a lot here but an extra tip i would highly recommend especially for no-fill players is utilizing your grenades as much as possible. In the first game at 6:40 you had an amazing oppurtunity to throw the arc star you had to not only finish your knock but also force his squadmate out of cover. Where you could have got the 2nd knock while still maintaining height advantage rather than jumping down straight away. The arc star could have potentially been a very defining factor in winning that fight as i'm sure you would have rolled through the last guy with ease

I only solo in trio. I'm a pro solo - I always get in top 5, usually top 3, 2nd place is very common, so here is my advice #1) Valkyrie #2) fly out after the last of teams have drop out #3) if you find yourself forced to drop with other teams, head for a jump tower and fly out (and some will chase you, so don't make it look like that's your intent until last second, then drop away, and fly up to jump tower - they don't have a weapon yet) #4) collect at least 1 ultimate accelerants (ideally 2), #5) stay away from direct fights - only 3rd party if you are at a distance and there is a way out or around the belligerents #6) never give away position until you know an acceptable route out of #7) get skin that camouflage, nothing fancy, use light green, easily hide, hard to see - all weapon skins dark/black/gray skins (or dirt brown/light greens) #8) don't be afraid to sit out the clock, waiting in the bushes (watch a UA-cam video while waiting), #9) no shame in hiding - if placing in 2 or 1st place is what you want #10) hiding is a whole different kind of skill, trust #11) you will get 1st place by luck - there times the last team(s) find themselves dying outside the ring closure - last ring(s) kill fast #12) have fun PS #13) new to game, use the Evac Towers - best deal is to have one, find another, use it, grab the new one you just found ;)

I like playing games of no fill trios it gets your mind thinking about positioning and makes you think about your situation knowing that you don't have your tramates as a safety net

No fancy gameplay but only the reality of solo queue. 🤟 This will help me a lot when I solo Ranked.

I won my first duo no fill the other day as Wattson, but admittedly I just started playing no fill. If the lobbies you are getting are too hard, just quit playing for a while and come back. The games matchmaking system will try to keep you engaged and tracks how many hours you play before you quit and will give you easier lobbies when it's near the time you quit. If you endure sweaty lobbies for hours and hours, the game will keep giving you hard lobbies.

I’ve been a Revenant main since season 4. Once I started doing solo no fill I instantly stopped playing him because I would get beamed so easily. His larger hit box never really affected me when I had a team on my side defending me, but as soon as I played by myself I just couldn’t escape the one mags

in the first game you could've thrown your arc star and then dropped more to the right to hopefully catch the loba dodging the nade

once again on that 1st game you played in, you had the chance to lead your push with a arc star but you decided to just jump at the player reviving and got killed. You always forget your nades Dazs lol

Idk bro , I only play ranks , I go for the kill every time , it's disrespectful out here , your time half the time will run ' just one person ' in leave you just to hide until they get killed 😭 ranked is toxic 'im a typical diamond player 😔🤣😔 love your dedication & content for the Apex community tho ! Keep grinding ✊🦾

At 7:10 u could’ve thrown ur arc to either force damage from height or force him to rotate from cover so u could poke and make for a better push good stuff tho

at 6:40 when u down the player behind cover u had an arc star you could of used it and force loba to leave cover or eat the arc star

I play in Australian servers as that’s where i live, and I gotta tell you, from all the games I’ve played and all the different countries servers I’ve played it in (usually because of friends who don’t live in Australia) Australia by far has the single lowest iq average players that I’ve ever seen. It’s truly mind blowing how both sweaty yet unbelievably stupid the people in these servers are. So as a byproduct of this, the ability to identify these people as teammates is abysmal. Their use as teammates simply doesn’t exist. So I basically only play solo. And yes, you can tell me that I play Solo too much and the teammates probably improved since then but the teammates in any game in Australian servers have been equally bad since early cod days they definitely aren’t improving any time soon. So videos like this are extremely useful
