Man this trailer really felt like a net zero. It didn't disappoint, but it also didn't excite me all that much, or reassure me that this is gunna be good. Also the vault at the end with the timekeeper caught my attention as it isn't the normal broken stone of a Vault's arch like we've seen previously, it looks more technological which I find interesting
@@pedromiranda1524 going off the trend of the latest borderlands games, they will talk alot more in dialogue with npcs. So they HAVE to nail their personalities.
The only thing I needed to see was that we were gonna do a complete pivot from anything involving BL3’s main story. The trailer gave me what I wanted in that department I’m sure they will flesh out the vault hunters in future trailers
I remember when the Bl3 trailer dropped and I was unimpressed with what they showed, playable character wise. But once I actually played the game, I loved all the characters. So, I'm hoping this is going to be the same thing.
I know the value of being first, but i think you may need to analyze a bit further on the breakdown videos. The hand holding the mask is the same thing that puts the mask on the psycho at the beginning. At the very end you thought the grapple and attack footage was from the Melee Vaulthunter. It's not. It's from the big guy... The hands match plus a axe/viking aesthetic matches him a bit more.
Was looking through the Nyriad recordings from BL3. Just realized that the Timekeeper (the floaty guy) was already namedropped in bl3. He's talked about alongside Graveward and Traveller. This makes me think that this planet (Like pandora) is perhaps a vault that is used to contain the Timekeeper. Just that unlike pandora, this vaults walls aren't its crust, but a forcefield in the atmosphere. Or the atmosphere shield thing is just there to hide the planet, and the timekeeper escaped from his vault on the planet some other way.
im actually honestly kinda bummed after this trailer, nothing actually popped out like any of the other trailers did in the past, just looks sadly kinda generic, im still excited and a little more excited now after this trailer, but truthfully im mainly holding out hope until we actually get people playing this, cause nothing made this seem like they are actually gonna listen to the community compared to the past games
This might be a weird way to describe it but i kinda thought it looked like something you'd see released on the Chinese market. Where it's in that uncanny valley of looking really good but it still looks cheap or like it's a tech demo/asset flip. The art style is seriously throwing me off because it's got a little bit of bl3s poppy comic book style going on with the proportions of everything and some of the colors. But then the actual graphics look gritter and more like they're trying to be realistic (like bl1) so it's just an odd mashup.
Agree the trailer doesnt feel like a BL game, its very different, less humorous and little to NO focus on the vault hunter, granted they look hideous and DEI infected XDDD. so i really dont want to see more of them, but still, very non BL like.
Of course not!!! The writer for BL2 left to write lore for champions in LoL. That's why I wasn't as disappointed with the story in BL3 like a lot of other people. It wasn't great story but it wasn't bad either it just had annoying characters and sometimes was too much with silly jokes imo.
@@raer53733s story and characters were terrible what are you taking about lol also the gameplay in alot of peoples opinions was better in 2, 3 has QoL features and was newer but not as fun

Quick note about the legendary beams in the trailer. The item on the left has an orange helix ascending its loot beam while the items on the right and the one in the middle both have green helicies, which likely means not only annoints but also annoint rarities. :/ Hopefully, though, it's actually a hybrid situation where the helix determines the combo piece or is really just chromatic while these are at different states in their animation cycles.
There's a lot of frankly delusional people saying "this is what borderlands has always looked like" and they're honestly part of the problem because this is nowhere near the style of the OGs
@@CobaltTSi don't really give a shit if it doesn't look like the previous games, what matters is if it plays well. In that regard Bl1 was mid, bl2 was amazing, presequal was ok and bl3 was great. If I wanted a good story I'd just go read a book
Battleborn was a good game, people were leery of Gearbox, and thought it was a ACM and DNF tier bat and switch. It was not. On the other hand, if you have Battleborn on Steam, you can get a mod from the Community MadLads, that allows you to play Battleborn Story and PVP vs Bots.
Call me crazy, but leaving a lot of the past “in the past” might be what this series needs. The last 3 games have all somewhat taken place around pandora with a lot of the same characters, so I think a change up is very welcome (in my book)
I was kinda hoping they hit us with a complete reimagining of Borderlands. In the style of what Resident Evil 7 did for that series. Imagine a really dark, gritty FPS with the atmosphere of B1 (gore, personality) with the humour and everything we loved from B2 (farming, dedicated drops, replay ability). In the state Borderlands is in now, we need more than ‘Cartoony cell shaded graphics = Borderlands’. This just looks like another DLC for B3. Could have been soooo good. Saying that, I appreciate we need to wait for more info to come out. Fingers crossed it’s the game we all need!
Being interested in the characters im playing makes a big impact on me, and all 4 vault hunters look like generic npcs. Really hope their kits are super unique or they do a complete overhaul on how they look

Oh my gosh, Zane with long hair. I didn't expect it, but it looks freaking amazing. I also love how his clone didn't change, I hope he mentions that In the game 😂
He aged like fine wine, and I’d love a drink of that ngl. I went crazy seeing his smug mug in the trailer, and they did not disappoint with his design.
I like the siren and the first guy. They look interesting to me. She’s tall and slim with a hard look and he’s shorter and good looking. Not a bad thing but the two others are ugly. Comically done.
Looking at the reveal trailers for BL2 and 3 this one seems to have a much more serious tone in comparison. No jokey text in-between action shots (advertising 87 bajillion guns and other memey stuff), no visual gags like the Brick sax solo or Claptrap breakdancing, and hardly any shots of returning characters, just Zane and Claptrap. Makes me wonder if they got the memo that people are kind of over the wacky humor that has been present in the series since BL2 and are trying to mix things up after the lukewarm reception of the story and dialogue in the most recent games.
Their ATTEMPT at wacky humor was what we got over real quick in BL3 lol Same people that loved it in 1 + 2 are ready for actual creativity and comedy if gearbox is willing to provide it
I'm still on the wait-and-see train. The Vault Hunter designs give me Dustborn/Concord vibes and I believe the same lead writer for Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands is the lead writer on this. I never finished a second playthrough of Wonderlands and Borderlands 3 while the gameplay is good the story irks me more and more with every playthrough. The writer in me feels like a lot of 3 got rewritten at the last minute for B.S. reasons. If you look at Troy's character arc I feel it's pretty clear at some point he was supposed to turn on his sister and be the final boss. Plus there are very little to limited interactions with past vault hunters. Also, Ava is just a bad character thanks to what is in the game while you see in the cut content that clearly someone on the writing team actually understood the basics and would have had a scene with her showing remorse for her actions that would have led to growth and maturity for her as a character. Which might have made me not want her head to explode in the first ten seconds of BL4 if they wanted me to pay the full price for this game.
That's how piss poor of a character she is and just how important the basics are for writing. If you want to see what it looks like to break conventions read some Sumerian stories, some of that stuff was written before the basic structures of storytelling we take for granted were invented.
My priority is for a competent story that is good to great in quality. When certain visual designs seem to repeat themselves on games with poor narratives then yes I take that as a warning flag. However, I'm perfectly fine waiting for the game to come out and see if it is worth my money and to what extent I'm willing to pay. If it's BL3 all over again then 50% off sale and if it's wonderlands $20ish dollars.
Really awesome video dude! There was so many things I had missed just watching the trailer that you mentioned here, i'm amazed by how fast you made this after the trailer dropping lol :O
I'm gonna be real. If they had showcased that as a BL3 DLC I would have believed them. It looks like they've made no advancements in either gameplay or presentation. Definitely gonna wait for reviews before buying this one. But hey at least we're getting more Elden Ring 😌

5:52 is not the melee vault hunter, he has a robotic arm which resembles the big guy from earlier, also the other guy is using swords as his main weapon and the big guy also reminds me of a Viking.

3:22 looks like a pod racer from starwars episode1 lol.... im sceptical on the whole "baandit tech" but excited to see where this leads. Great video and keep hunting them vaults dude
The vault hunter throwing those elemental axes is the big buff guy with the beard not the generic npc looking vault hunter with the melee abilities and visor. You can easily tell because of the big yellow cybernetic arm.
Hopefully this means melee combat has been expanded upon. I was hyped for melee in bl3 because of amara, then it turned out all the melee builds are just gun builds with melee damage modifiers. It just sucks that the melee combat in the series peaked with bl2 (unless you count wonderlands)
At 5:16 that's not the sword guy, it's the big tank looking guy in the background. If you look at the arms you can clearly tell that that's not the exo suit guy, that's the big brawler type tank
@jakescherini2940 sadly I think the guy with the doom slayer blades is actually an enemy... yeah... the models are a womp womp on the hunters but that doesn't man they are bad heh

I'm probably reaching for the stars when I say this, but this new siren could be a mix of Troy (red tattoos) and Tyreen (blue tattoos) and that's why hers are purple? I don't really think it'll be Steele's powers but, it'd be cool if so.
I missed when borderlands wasnt all futuristic and every single being had something special about them. If everything is special, nothing is special. It shows woth the designs of the "vault hunters" here.
@@MrEvilTag not really but partially true. borderlands 1 and 2 had few enemies that had technology as exaggerated as the ones in this trailer. They had futuristic things in the game but that stuff wasn't plastered everywhere. In borderlands 1 when the eridians showed up, it was actually unique that they could fly and made sense. the advanced tech or whatever you want to call it made them different than others and they really stood out. Now they just have bandits and dudes with hats flying just because they can it seems.
YES, this is exactly it. You hit the nail on the head. It's like every single enemy and every single NPC is trying to be the main character, and every environment is trying to be the coolest place ever of all time ever. Devs (Gbx especially) need to re-learn the importance of keeping SOME THINGS boring, so that the non-boring things can shine. There's a reason the "bland" desert-scapes of the first two BL games are so iconic - because they immerse you into a world where you're away from civilization living on the outskirts, i.e. THE BORDERLANDS.
Hey joltz, did you notice the vault door at the end? Its not made of stone like all the others! Its made of metal, new metal at that. No rust or scrap parts. So, either its been remade, or its a COMPLETELY new door that the Timekeeper made!
One of the legendaries on the floor has a green particle effect that is at the same height as the other guns at 4:43, which makes me think that anoints are coming back. Or a subclass of rarity?
I'm thinking that legendries are probably going to have sub-grades of rarity, white, green, blue ect that is going to affect their drop rates. higher the subgrade the lower the drop chance
I think that’s actually QOL. That gun looked to be corrosive, and the green being at eye level makes me think they are making it easier to pick a drop based off the beam rather than having to stop mid fight and hover over it or check it after
Damn i am so excited, borderlands 2 and your (and k6’s) videos shaped so much of my early teens. Really hope this can have the bl2 writing with bl3 guns and ttw creativity
I said this exact same thing to a friend... XD Seeing people say they may be customizable from the beginning gives me hope they will be, because these are some weak ass hero shooter designs.
I'm glad its collectively realized that these designs look extremely bland for Vault Hunters lol. I don't like BL3 but atleast it had a good variety between the characters.
But like OW characters have very distinctive elements in their design : you look at Lucio and you know he's a music related skating character, you look at Tracer and you know she's a fast dps, you look at Rein and you know he's a melee locked tank. Here aside from "Big Guy" who's gonna be the Big Guy character there's not much going on. But Borderlands rarely had very detailed VHs tbh
At 5:32 that vault Hunter is the big guy not the guy on the left but middle right looking at the arms it's the same as his guy on the far left has normal human arms with an exo frame on the outside of his arms
At 4:36 the legendary in the middle seems to have some sort of extra green halo on it, which could be representative of some special weapons within the legendary category, whether that be an anointed weapon or a new type. Also as a side note, I do think the futuristic direction they're going in is a fun direction, but I would really love to see a whole game developed around a really rustic design, akin in some ways to the Hammerlock DLC we had previously. Something with an almost primal feel
I love the new look but anyone else feel like the vault hunters feel kind of bland? Though I'm hoping they're going for a more subdued tone this time since the "LOL SO RANDOM" shenanigans of BL3 really didn't do it any favors, a more serious story with some humor here and there would do the franchise some good.
I look forward to it. I just hope they make the story somewhat exciting and not like BL3 in any extend. Give a good story and it will break its bad reputation it´s gotten over the last few years
So far this was better than i expected yet my expectations are still extremely low. Either way I'm honestly excited to see if Borderlands 4 will be a great video game!
It’s possible the vault hunters might pull a Wilhelm from pre-sequel and change appearance depending on the skill tree? Ya know with the whole cyberpunk thing going on
Honestly it seems like you might be right, the one guy on the far right in the blades scene seems to have additional arms/supports which we don't see in other parts of the trailer
The guy at 5:21 is the really big guy, not the guy with the energy blades from earlier. The big guy's got the yellow robot arm on his left. If I had to guess, I'd say the energy blades guy is the "assassin/hunter" character, and this big guy that spawns the elemental axes is the "-zerker" character, having skills relating to using both arms like Brick, Sal, and Moze.
I bet the Timekeeper is just another corpo head like Jack was for Hyperion, and he's called Timekeeper because he controls every worker's timesheets, forcing them to do all the overtime without any extra pay
The vault hunters if they’re the 4 that show up in a line are kinda bland looking imo unfortunately, nowhere near the uniqueness in appearance of any of the other hunters. Hopefully abilities and skins/heads can change that.
I believe the time keeper was an imprisoned eridian cause we actually heard his name in BL3 from the Meriade siren messages. I pray that the team actually takes a good look at the character paths for this story. Cause bl3’s had the makings of something great but each time at key moments they ended up doing something stupid with the characters
I'm definitely cautiously optimistic after this trailer. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the general vibe, it seemed to tone down the goofy level a bit, which I appreciate, and there was basically no nostalgia bait/fan service in the trailer, which is also a good sign. Going back and watching the Borderlands 3 trailer again made these things stand out even more. I agree with what other people are saying about the vault hunters, they're a bit bland, but interesting skill trees and gameplay can more than make up for that.
The axes shown at the end, from player pov, were actually the big guy! Not the melee guy shown previously, you can see the metallic bumps on his arms which the melee guy doesn’t have but the big guy does!
Seen a lot of people saying it looks underwhelming, and unfortunately have to agree (at least somewhat). BUT, I will gladly take underwhelming visuals IF we get excellent gameplay and especially the things we've been asking for forever at launch (ie skippable cutscenes/dialogue, good endgame, dedicated loot sources, no anoints, cosmetic duplicate protection, etc).
I hope the vault hunter are not as dissapointing as they look. Hopefully they have a good skill tree building characters is my favorite part of the game.
4:33 pause the video and look closely, the light beans look diferent, the one on the front has a green X in the middle while the one on the left has a orange X, so im guessing those are anointed weapons or something like that
Man, the Name “Timekeeper” suggests a pretty wild theory in my head! What if the setup changes, and this time we’re not actually running against time to stop someone to open a vault and control it, but fighting someone who already has the control on it, and time handling is the benefit of the vault? Changes the pace of the game, it’s not a race anymore, it’s a war from the very beginning! The last scene with him in front of the gate, with tech shinning from the ark gave even more of it
i think the siren looks cool. the axe character looks like they tried to take the good bits from wonderlands and put them in a borderlands game so that's neat. i'm not wowed by either of them, but i think the hate is overblown. they're pretty standard vault hunters. a siren, a soldier dude, someone with a sword/blade, and a wild card. it seems like gearbox didn't want to upgrade the engine too much which makes sense; even now, bl3 feels great to play. it remains to be seen if they can pull off seamlessly pulling in the fun/interesting mechanics from all their games and make it work. i hope they do. i'm cautiously optimistic.
I'm not vibing with any of the Vault Hunter designs. Maybe the big guy because he kinda makes me think of Titans from Destiny but that's about it and it's not by much. Zane and FL4K had some pretty decent character designs while Amara and Moze did end up having some decent cosmetics. Plus Moze just felt cool because she had a mech and that was a kind of Vault Hunter I was wanting for the longest time, a mech pilot. Hell, even FL4K was also a character concept that I wanted in the game because of them having pets that roamed about and fought with them.
5:26 this isn't that guy with laser swords, its the big burley viking guy shown on the 2:06 reveal. He's the third one in. His right hand has the armoring with the metal knots on it.
I hope they toned down the quantity of legendary drops, it was really stupid how high the legendary drop rate was in BL3. They didn't feel "legendary and rare" when you find more legendaries than purples.
If they didn't update the drops, i would have been fine with them adding pearlescent back with the rates of bl1. and make them the most powerful weapons and not worse than most blueniques
I don’t like the neu vaulters. They look over designed and I don’t know what they key points of their designs are. The best character designs tend to be simple, with specific points that your eyes draw towards. To use some examples from borderlands. Zero is very lanky and his black suit makes you quickly get him at a glance and the focus is on the display that is his face. This tells you his main characteristic is “mysterious” Or Krieg, who again has a large muscular mass in the middle, which makes you think “this guy is tall” while the mask that hides his face gives “slasher” vibes. The newer ones tend to have so many different parts to looks at at once, that it becomes hard to know what is what
@@josefstalin9678 Surprisingly yes. When I look at him the first thing that sticks out is that he has something metal on his chest. Some metal collar and an arm guard. But the rest of his upper body is naked, so it doesn’t give a “well armored” vibe and I don’t know what to do with it However what I was actually talking about is how all them have too much going on in terms of accessories and changing colors on their clothes, which makes it hard to see them as a unit
@@frankwest5388 When I saw him I instantly clocked him as cyborg viking. As for the one on the far right (which is by far my least favorite and the only one I genuinely don't like very much) I would assume she's mobility based since she's the smallest and can quite possibly fly since she has what appears to be a jetpack Guy on the left seems like the guy with the gadgets (like roland, axton, wilhelm, timothy, an zane before him) based on that metal exoskeleton that has giant glowing blue swords coming out of it And for the siren its generally difficult to tell what they'll be able to do just by looking at them. With the exception of Amara, who would've been able to guess Lilith, Maya, Angel, or Tyreen's powers just off their appearance alone I don't think they're "too detailed" to tell what they're supposed to be, or at least make a decent educated guess
I only noticed two kinds cool designs, the Dino looking thing and that weird alien looking thing. Most of the others felt generic or like they were made with AI
I don’t know if I would go that far. They don’t look amazing, but they don’t look Fugly either. They’re just bland. I think it’s gonna come down to their skills and personality. It’s entirely possible they go down that road but I’m hoping that they are more bad ass instead of just plain bad.
I love how it has prgoressed from almost apocalyptic in Bl1 to cyperpunk now in Bl4, and I enjoy the more grounded looks of the new vault hunters, hope they become more badass as you gain more skills (like willhelm)
Don’t mind the artstyle. As someone who didn’t love borderlands 3 if it has a much more serious antagonist like handsome jack, pearls and dedicated drops come back and the story actually flows well it could be a great game
What are you guys thinking about the trailer? I'm a little more hopeful now after seeing this.

Also the vault at the end with the timekeeper caught my attention as it isn't the normal broken stone of a Vault's arch like we've seen previously, it looks more technological which I find interesting
Yeah... Tbh the only thing that really bummed me where the vault hunters... but these are the main characters so I don't really know what to think
The vehicle looks like a pod racer for the star wars prequel
Indeed it does young jedi. The force is strong with you.
I was also thinking the same thing
3:28 you see the vehicle spawner on the left. Not sure why Joltz thought you could spawn one anywhere
Now this is pod racing.
Or the atmosphere shield thing is just there to hide the planet, and the timekeeper escaped from his vault on the planet some other way.
im actually honestly kinda bummed after this trailer, nothing actually popped out like any of the other trailers did in the past, just looks sadly kinda generic, im still excited and a little more excited now after this trailer, but truthfully im mainly holding out hope until we actually get people playing this, cause nothing made this seem like they are actually gonna listen to the community compared to the past games
honestly the most hype I've been for a trailer was bl3, and that was a huge let down, high hopes this game isn't that bad
Exactly.
You’re looking at this through rose colored glasses lol what was SO amazing in the other trailers that this one doesn’t compare?
Agree the trailer doesnt feel like a BL game, its very different, less humorous and little to NO focus on the vault hunter, granted they look hideous and DEI infected XDDD. so i really dont want to see more of them, but still, very non BL like.
I’m convinced we will never have the experience bl2 gave us ever again
Of course not!!! The writer for BL2 left to write lore for champions in LoL. That's why I wasn't as disappointed with the story in BL3 like a lot of other people. It wasn't great story but it wasn't bad either it just had annoying characters and sometimes was too much with silly jokes imo.
We will never have this experience because rn it's boosted by nostalgia and questionable quality of games that followed

Quick note about the legendary beams in the trailer. The item on the left has an orange helix ascending its loot beam while the items on the right and the one in the middle both have green helicies, which likely means not only annoints but also annoint rarities. :/
Hopefully, though, it's actually a hybrid situation where the helix determines the combo piece or is really just chromatic while these are at different states in their animation cycles.

Replace The Pre-Sequel with that failed Battleborn game Gearbox made and you are spot on

On the other hand, if you have Battleborn on Steam, you can get a mod from the Community MadLads, that allows you to play Battleborn Story and PVP vs Bots.
@@PoseidonodiesoPThe vision i had for this game is no more. Hopefully what you have said will be the case

No jokey text in-between action shots (advertising 87 bajillion guns and other memey stuff), no visual gags like the Brick sax solo or Claptrap breakdancing, and hardly any shots of returning characters, just Zane and Claptrap.
Years later people ironically acting like ava 🙄
That's how piss poor of a character she is and just how important the basics are for writing. If you want to see what it looks like to break conventions read some Sumerian stories, some of that stuff was written before the basic structures of storytelling we take for granted were invented.
I think that you even bother pulling Dustborn or Concord as a reference says a lot about your priorities.
@@Tahanok2can't even mention two of the biggest flops of the year when talking about character design?

However, I'm perfectly fine waiting for the game to come out and see if it is worth my money and to what extent I'm willing to pay. YES, this is exactly it. You hit the nail on the head.
That gun looked to be corrosive, and the green being at eye level makes me think they are making it easier to pick a drop based off the beam rather than having to stop mid fight and hover over it or check it after
Also the one legendary had the green helix around it but the one in the background did not have it. That probably means something

I would guess either melee mechanic like wonderlands or action skill similar to brick but with crieg buzz axe
I am making guess but left to right we have the assassin type the normal siren tank like character then the healer type
4:21 the middle legendary also has a green flair on its beam, that could indicate an anoint
Something with an almost primal feel
if you look closely at 5:25 in this video it's actually the big guy's arm not the arm of the twink with blades.
Lmao
"twink with blades"

Every average looking dude is a twink now
This is the new reality

I love the new look but anyone else feel like the vault hunters feel kind of bland? Though I'm hoping they're going for a more subdued tone this time since the "LOL SO RANDOM" shenanigans of BL3 really didn't do it any favors, a more serious story with some humor here and there would do the franchise some good.
4:26 if u look at the legendary at the front u can see like a green x in the frame, the beam has some kind of special effect
Ya know with the whole cyberpunk thing going on
I'd like that a lot. You're not suppose to look like badasses at level 1. Or even possible gear change
Character design so bland people are begging to be able to change it themselves from the start lol.
Honestly it seems like you might be right, the one guy on the far right in the blades scene seems to have additional arms/supports which we don't see in other parts of the trailer
@@mikahoolwerff3563not like bl is known for standout character designs
I think Lucas films might have a few words about gearbox having a literal pod racer in their game lol
I noticed that 🤣
The guy at 5:21 is the really big guy, not the guy with the energy blades from earlier.
Just a thought, but regarding annoints. I did see that each of the legendary beams had an extra colored swirl about halfway up the beams
yeah I wanted to write about that, but noticed that they all seem to be a combination of green and legendary orange, so maybe its just a part of vfx
The vault hunters if they’re the 4 that show up in a line are kinda bland looking imo unfortunately, nowhere near the uniqueness in appearance of any of the other hunters. Hopefully abilities and skins/heads can change that.
Looks interesting, the VH’s don’t as many have pointed out
5:35 it’s not the melee character with the blue blades, it’s actually the Tank big guy! We can see his robotic yellow arm while using grapple
I never clicked on a notification to be disappointed so fast.

So they can have him act stupid and die? Ok.
i was a flak main in bl3 but the voice actor is a racist so better to leave him in 3.
Well, guess im slapping a full face mask on the vault hunter for some god damn creativity then.
Seeing as they decided to make four basic humans.
Wow you work fast ;D
One thing I hope is that the create vehicles from anywhere mechanic doesn't create more open empty maps like there were in BL3
Those maps better be filled. If it is just miles of emptiness, I will be upset.
This tells you his main characteristic is “mysterious”
Or Krieg, who again has a large muscular mass in the middle, which makes you think “this guy is tall” while the mask that hides his face gives “slasher” vibes.
The newer ones tend to have so many different parts to looks at at once, that it becomes hard to know what is what
Agree.
Oh, I think we both know the point behind their designs. There's 1 common denominator
You're right. Its kinda hard to tell what the giant muscular cyborg's schtick is supposed to be /s

Surprisingly yes.
When I look at him the first thing that sticks out is that he has something metal on his chest. Some metal collar and an arm guard. But the rest of his upper body is naked, so it doesn’t give a “well armored” vibe and I don’t know what to do with it
However what I was actually talking about is how all them have too much going on in terms of accessories and changing colors on their clothes, which makes it hard to see them as a unit
@@frankwest5388 When I saw him I instantly clocked him as cyborg viking.
As for the one on the far right (which is by far my least favorite and the only one I genuinely don't like very much) I would assume she's mobility based since she's the smallest and can quite possibly fly since she has what appears to be a jetpack
Guy on the left seems like the guy with the gadgets (like roland, axton, wilhelm, timothy, an zane before him) based on that metal exoskeleton that has giant glowing blue swords coming out of it
And for the siren its generally difficult to tell what they'll be able to do just by looking at them. With the exception of Amara, who would've been able to guess Lilith, Maya, Angel, or Tyreen's powers just off their appearance alone
I don't think they're "too detailed" to tell what they're supposed to be, or at least make a decent educated guess
What are those vault hunters?!
The enemy designs look amazing, The Vault Hunters look like they come straight out of sweet baby’s studios.
Waaaa waaa. Imagine being bothered about what the characters look like in a fucking 3rd person game. Grow up.
No they dont
@@Rmsdxdkskxelfmyes they do.
I love how it has prgoressed from almost apocalyptic in Bl1 to cyperpunk now in Bl4, and I enjoy the more grounded looks of the new vault hunters, hope they become more badass as you gain more skills (like willhelm)
Don’t mind the artstyle. As someone who didn’t love borderlands 3 if it has a much more serious antagonist like handsome jack, pearls and dedicated drops come back and the story actually flows well it could be a great game
vault hunters look like they were designed to be put on funko pops, not interested.
