I'm Australian and lived in the UK for 2 years and no offence but it's a miserable place with miserable people. Their peak was 2012 and it's been all downhill from there.

For the low crime rate statistics, likely due to police resources being at an all time low, and people simply aren't being prosecuted for "non-fatal crimes". Basically burglaries are no longer being investigated, let alone reported, so there's a huge dip in what would normally be considered punishable offenses - with a focus instead on traffic crime, as these are usually low-effort (sit around with speed cameras) and high reward due to fines.
My brother moved to Australia 10 years ago and he increased his salary by 500%. He’s now got a million dollar apartment and living the Aussie dream. Absolutely crazy!
I think people can stand living in the UK if everything is working - low crime, affordable housing, NHS, good transport infrastructure. But now all those things are in serious decline, I think people are noticing just how grey and miserable this damp little island actually is…
Anyone who is young enough and has the skills that are wanted/needed in Australia and or NZ should say get the heck out. I retired in 2013 and left but to live next to only brother in a rural area near the sea (North Sea) in North Germany. Its still 99.9% German here with more retired Germans moving in after buying plots of land and building their houses. We are 90 kms from Bremen
If you want a preview of how it will be, live inside the M25 for a year - indigenous UK ethnic people are less than 40% of the population ! You can walk down many high streets and see few white people and those that are white speak a foreign language.... I was recently complimented by a chap on a building site about how the way I speak is so clear, he asked me where I learned English. When I told him that I am English he couldn't quite grasp what I was saying - there are so few people who speak English as a first language, and fewer still whose English is not poluted by what is percieved to be American/West Indian slang. Immigrants are trying - and managing - to displace all the native people from our homeland. Some radical Muslims want to install a Sharia State situation.
@thakery5720 UK has no less native population % than other major European countries and immigrants are needed to cover your ageing population. Many immigrants come with degrees

That depends a lot on your circumstances and preferences I’d say. Work opportunities is usually a major consideration unless you’re retired.
