- Mihir Shah, the main accused in the Worli hit-and-run case, was arrested on Tuesday. He was absconding since July 7 after he allegedly rammed his BMW into a scooter, killing a woman. Mihir, 24, is the son of Rajesh Shah, a Shiv Sena leader from the Eknath Shinde camp. His father was arrested by the Worli police but was released on bail on Monday.

Shiv - its a lost cause. I gave up having any faith in Maharastra police/judiciary after Pune Porche case. The entire Agarwal family is out despite all the evidences and public pressure. This Mihir case is even tougher as the guy knew he had to get the alcohol out of his system and waited for 60 hours.
In Maharashtra its easier to do a crime and bribe your way out. Sab kuch bikta hai.
Might as well focus on understanding the bribing mechanism than worrying about the law. Bank se loan leke EMI mein bribe pay kar dene ka. It should be doable. :)
I guess hte only way out for Maharashtra is mob justice - courts and police will not give any justice. They are all together in this.

He was very clearly drunk: circumstantial evidence: CCTV footage of him in multiple bars, receipts showing him spending 18,000 rupees on alcohol.
firstly the MLA should be dismissed for falsifying the case if not BJP should get him dismissed if not BJP will suffer the consequences

OK even if he was not drunk but killing one person is jail but he will get bail just watch
If case booked for rash and negligence not amounting to homicide max 2 year imprisonment.
If as per new law hit and case get 10 year imprisonment.
@@sanjeevkumarc3686 I bet he will be out in less than 16 months. Yes. Regardless of case and what charges they press he won't stay in for more than 1.5 yrs. In fact he may get out even in a matter of 2-3 months IF HE GETS CONVICTED ie
check his visa card ,with his bank
visa card will not have itemised bill. Only total and name of merchant. Not enough evidence to prove he had alcohol. The only indisputable way is breathalyser within 4 hrs and/or blood test within 24 hrs.
