Malcolm telling Stealth Our Us in that crazy tribal that they were going to vote Phillip. If he didn’t do that the alliance would’ve gone crazy voted for Sherri and there could’ve been a good possibility Eddie and Malcolm didn’t need to play their idols. There’s a lot of crazy ways this situation could’ve played out and I think what we got was the dumbest outcome
Exactly, I relistened to the RHAP over that episode and there was tons of ways that they could've gotten out of that tribal cleanly and might have had a good chance of winning the game one of those three
This. So. Much. If the amigos don't reveal who they're voting for and just tell that they're voting for one of them, the whole alliance crumbles. They could've voted for either Brenda or Andrea, who are actual threats.
Jacob The Great yeah, I’m a huge Malcolm fan, but that was definitely a blunder, I guess they wanted control, but I could’ve flipped the game if they didn’t do that.
I'm thinking about this too. Why target Phillip...he is stupid and not likeable by his own alliance member. Think what i think they should do. 1 - Pick Andrea or Dawn - the most paranoid people....and said we will vote either one of you...come join us....name a person than we follow you. Or one of you might get voted off.....do both of you to risk it? 2 - Another fun way is that....after Phllip say....stay with the plan....they could also split the vote 3 way....1 for dawn, 1 for cochran, 1 for andrea (or any 3).....then let them scramble of the revote. If on revote someone get more than 1 vote but stays....you can convince them to join them next...
The onion alliance votes out Dan instead of Susie Stacy and Dreamz can't keep quiet about blindsiding Yau Man Jerri excludes Tina when naming her friends at tribal Lex targets Kelly Goldsmith Ted, Helen, and Jan doesn't form a counter alliance against Brian and Clay Andrew Savage alienates Lillian at the merge. Tai plays an idol for Aubry at the F6 of gamechangers. The Naviti women votes out Libby and Jenna.
Well keeping Natalie was bad as she interacted with the jury to get their jury votes. But is Mick any more of a jury threat to Russell than Jaison or Shambo?
Parvati not telling Russell information was good. It made her look less like a follower and more like an independent power player. You should have said Amanda giving the clue back to Danielle
I've been trying to defend Erik and even JT for years.. those moves weren't even that "dumb" like they had reasons for doing what they did. Erik thought that Cirie wouldn't vote with him if he didn't give Natalie the necklace, and there was only one more (or so they thought) tribal for him to get himself in good standing with the jury (which sadly he was they just convinced him he wasn't).. and then same thing with JT. With the info they had.. it wasn't that crazy to assume there was an all-girls alliance. Ofc it's not especially smart to make such a huge decision off of speculation and assumptions, but I'm this game there is limited time to make things happen, and if they lost an alliance member first, he knew they were screwed. Like he had reasons for this. Logical reasons. It just didn't happen to work out.. but if it did it would've been known as one of the greatest moves of all time. JT would be a legend for the opposite reason lmao idk I just never thought they deserved the massive amount of jokes and ridicule they received. And like looking back at all those times.. it looks like it was seriously affecting Erik and like no one was even noticing.
The Abi thing is not underrated. That is always talked about as one of the dumbest moves. Ken's move was dumb, but I get what he was trying to do. I think he was so paranoid that Will wouldn't flip that he decided to blow up his game and cause chaos in the other group. It may have influenced Will to flip as he had just been outed and could no longer be trusted by his alliance. I would say Will was the one guilty of a dumb move. He made a big move for the sake of making a big move. He thought it would gain him some respect. I don't know where he planned to move on from there.
Any from Vanuatu ruining her own game was so satisfying. She was a villain so despicable, even I couldn't pull for her. And considering how much I love a good villain, that is saying something.
The girl not pretending to have a hard time with the gross food maybe got carried away by ego, but omg that made me crazy. And talking about ego, Ken destroying his chances as well as his alliance's, just because he was offended that his name was on the chopping block, is WILD. He had the advantage of the secret flip and numbers on his side, and threw it all away because his saw his cause as mightier 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Peridiam I posted this on twitter when you asked but I'll add it here too. Dumb moments and moves: Roark's attempt at a all female alliance The producers bringing colton back Rupert's shelter The Open Forum in Cagayan Lex trusting Boston Rob Brandon. Just everything about him JT giving Russell his idol The boys giving away immunity in One World Colby siding with Danielle instead of Amanda Clarence taking an extra cherry (or whatever it was) Getting rid of Chicken #BringBackChicken GC's Disappearance Letting the chickens go in Samoa Chase Rice being super paranoid Gervase overcelebrating in BvsW Will bullying Shirin Taylor stealing food Tyson voting himself out Half the Brains tribe in Cagayan Michaela's Blindside in MvGX Debb at the reunion of Australia
Abi is annoying, immature and I do not like her but two things about her can't be denied. She was kinda good in challenges like I did not expect that. And the other is that she is not dumb. She knew her spot in tribe and she had several foreshadowed moments when she predicted the winner or the fact that the possible runner-ups have no chance against the future winner, she knew that, that was incredible.
Great video!!! The Abi vote is a big one and something I also thought when I rewatched that season recently. Skupin was someone I was rooting for but couldn't stay rooting for when he made such bad moves. Also was rooting for Ken but couldn't believe how he blew up Will's games and still made it to the end (it was great drama though!)
Lol. In ken’s defense its a 5-4 vote. Will could have been playing him and voted him out. Thats not a dumb move. You are basically putting your game in the hands of someone that is a flipper, thats not very comforting.
2:10 Jeff saying "this is a tribe. EIGHT people agreed to this" lmao it cracks me up every time 😂 the delivery is just hilarious and we were all thinking it
I really don’t think the Ken move was that bad, Ken had to trust that will would flip or he would go home, If he didn’t think Will was with them the best move would be to expose him. In the end it did work out for him as his alliance gained control
Jordan Travis this. Him criticizing that move is just hilarious. We have seen so many times how flippers dont flip. Adam criticizing ken was even more hilarious, as adam is the one that makes a mess of every alliance he had.
Well I'm sure we all knew Ken's "test" for Will would be on this list lmao the way Adam reiterates what happened in confessional cracks me up every time 😂
Dingle Barry If Tyson hadn't changed his vote at the last minute, and Russell played his idol on Parvati just as he did that night, it would've gone to a tiebreaker where Russell very likely would've been sent packing bc Rob's alliance had the numbers. And with that, Parvati likely would've gone next, and J.T. would never have given his idol away. The entire course of HvV would've changed with that one vote, which is why I personally consider Tyson's bonehead move a bigger one than J.T.'s bonehead move. That, and unlike Tyson, J.T. actually had some (hilariously wrong) reasoning behind his move and didn't just do it on a whim.
Cidney telling Scott and Jason that Alecia was looking for an idol. All she had to do was keep quite and vote out Scott or Jason and get out a big player
I don’t care what anyone says, Tyson switching his vote and indirectly voting himself out is by far the dumbest move in the history of survivor. Other dumb moves, like the Erik one, had strategic reasoning, they just didn’t really work out. The reason Tyson switched his vote was to skip the revote and eat hot dogs a little sooner.
It's interesting because I think a certain amount of "dumb moves" probably didn't feel dumb inside the game, in context, where the people don't have the benefit of seeing all the angles and things that we, the audience see (or, in some cases, the season that is airing before theirs which sometimes involves twists or cast members that they are therefore uninformed about). That being said, sometimes a seemingly dumb move is really, REALLY just a very dumb move. For me, #1 dumbest move of all time is always going to be Sean with his alphabet strategy. Even tho I realize this was the first season ever, nobody had any clue what they were doing, and half the cast legitimately thought the whole thing was basically a joke that no one would watch... I can't get past that Sean not only decided to do the alphabet thing in the first place, but then told everyone he was doing it, and then KEPT doing it when it was immediately clear that an alliance was piggy-backing on his dumbness to further their game. (I've seen him since claim it was all strategy to keep Tagi people over Pagong people, but it never once came across as anything but clueless, albeit good-natured, fumbling.) 😂😂
In Lisa’s defense, it isn’t a guarantee that Abi loses in the finals, given her allies on the jury, and the possibility of jury bitterness, and Abi was very condescending to her (and in general). That’s why taking a goat to the end isn’t as easy as some people make it.
Brandon Quinton voting for Kelly has got to be up there. Single handedly cost Samburu the final four and himself a great chance at the win but for some reason nobody talks about it anymore
JMaster98 Because people loved him, was really good at jury management, gave a great FTC performance and he had his best friend holding back his more trigger-happy tendencies. Just because he made hilarious mistakes in future appearances doesn't take away how well he played when he won.
I don't get how no one ever mentions the final 7 vote of survivor all stars. How stupid it was for big tom, Rupert and Jenna to fall in line with Rob and Amber and vote Alicia. If the plan was to blindside Alicia then all you need is three votes. You don't need Shii-ann and Alicia's vote. Put 3 votes on Rob then it's 3-3-1 doesn't matter who Alicia votes for and you win on the revote wherever Shii-ann chooses to go 3-2 or 4-1. It's so obvious that Rob or amber would take eachother to the final two so the only way Jenna, Rupert, or Tom gets to the final two is if they when immunity, if they even make it to the final three, so essentially if they're lucky. They had such a great opportunity of looking great in front of the jury and almost guaranteeing being in the final three thus greatly improving each of their odds to win. Maybe it was too early in the show's evolution but how they didn't see this path is beyond me. Also if we're talking about dumb moves in all stars Lex, Kathy and Shii-ann voting off Jerri over Amber. I'd say that was pretty dumb.
I remember watch MvGX for the first time (that was my very first season of Survivor I ever watched) and I got so pissed at Ken at this moment. I was rooting for Will (I was really inexperienced with Survivor and I just was rooting for the guy who I was the same age as) and to see Ken do this idiotic move pushed all of my buttons. Then to top it all off, Will tried to make his big move, but it became null and void cause Adam wasted his idol and all that it accomplished was an idol nobody knew Adam had was burned and it outed Will as a snitch and flipper. I knew he was screwed from that point on.
Honestly JTs move wasn't that bad. They had not seen season 19 which was airing while they were filming HvV so they had not seen Russell play. He made a read on the game, saw a chance to save a potential ally while knocking off a big threat and also get the target of the idol off of his back. He even said if it works its brilliant and if it fails its a disaster. It was a gamble that didn't pay off but unlike alot of the dumb survivor moments his plan would have been genius if it had worked.
Hoping Guatemala gets some love in the top 5 (or is simply just acknowledged that it's actually a survivor season...) Whether it's Rafe's move after the final immunity challenge, the auction where Danni was just handed the advantage or the fact the Danni was CONSTANTLY kept around despite Rafe keeping immunity away from her multiple times, it seemed like the entire cast just wanted her to win the money. *sigh* One of theost underrated seasons has just so god damn many bad moves.
9:30 Abi was right. Skoopin had no chance to win. Even if it was a final two with Abi, I think she stands a chance. Any other combination, Michael loses. Lisa totally wins against Michael and Abi.
Haha. Eric was a friend of mine in highschool. He's a good guy. And doesn't deserve all the criticism he has gotten. (He does deserve some of it for giving away his idol) thanks for pointing out other stops moves.
I think the actual dumbest move by a "mastermind" was Todd in China. Yes James didn't use his idols when he only had two more rounds to use them, and everyone beats on him (rightfully) for that dumb move, but in the round where James was voted off - Todd got the second most votes. Todd knew (for weeks) that James had the idols and they all decided to vote for James anyway. Realistically, this is a hella dumb move on Todd's part and he absolutely should have been sent home for it. He just happened to luck out because James was even dumber.
My number 1 would be from Guatemala when rafe had the chance of winning the whole game and giving up that alliance or whatever deal that he had with Danni

Jacob The Great it was still a fun Tribal Council but I agree, never reveal who you are targeting because no one flips
When Abby was telling Skupin that his best chance to win was in a final 3 with her and Lisa, she was right haha he should've listened to her
The onion alliance votes out Dan instead of Susie
Stacy and Dreamz can't keep quiet about blindsiding Yau Man
Jerri excludes Tina when naming her friends at tribal
Lex targets Kelly Goldsmith
Ted, Helen, and Jan doesn't form a counter alliance against Brian and Clay
Andrew Savage alienates Lillian at the merge.
The Koror's passes up two opportunity to vote out Tom.
The Raro votes out Jenny and Rebecca over Jonathan Penner
Alexis sends Amanda to Exile Island
Natalie rallies the troops to blindside Jason
Timbara doesn't reunite at the F7
Galu tries to make John the Foa Foa target at the F10
Russell votes out Shambo and Jaison instead of Mick and Natalie
Parvati finds a hidden immunity idol, yet doesn't share it with Russell
Nobody on Ometepe ever makes a big move to better their position within the game
Savaii refuses to vote out Cochran at the tribal councils they attended pre-merge
Alicia votes out Tarzan at the F6
Corrine tells Dawn the plan to blindside Sheri Phillip
Baylor helps Natalie find the idol
Tyler, Will, Rodney, & Dan targets Mike at the F7 even though they know he has the idol
Aubry votes out Jason and Cydney instead of Michele and Tai
Hannah votes out Sunday and Will.
Tai plays an idol for Aubry at the F6 of gamechangers.
The Naviti women votes out Libby and Jenna.
Abiel Tesfamariam Alex telling Cesternino is #4
What do you mean?
+ Donathan and Laurel vote Chelsea out instead of Wendell
Well keeping Natalie was bad as she interacted with the jury to get their jury votes. But is Mick any more of a jury threat to Russell than Jaison or Shambo?
Parvati not telling Russell information was good. It made her look less like a follower and more like an independent power player.
You should have said Amanda giving the clue back to Danielle
peridiam we love you!!!!!

Could you imagine being hounded by Parvati, Amanda AND Cirie nonstop? I'd give them anything they wanted. >:(
I love Adam 13:45
You can tell how mad peridium gets mad based on how high pitched his voice gets
The Abi thing is not underrated. That is always talked about as one of the dumbest moves.
Ken's move was dumb, but I get what he was trying to do. I think he was so paranoid that Will wouldn't flip that he decided to blow up his game and cause chaos in the other group. It may have influenced Will to flip as he had just been outed and could no longer be trusted by his alliance. I would say Will was the one guilty of a dumb move. He made a big move for the sake of making a big move. He thought it would gain him some respect. I don't know where he planned to move on from there.
AJL this. Will shouldnt have said that to ken. He wasnt really a trustworthy person as he was perceived as a flipper.
10:30 "Plus court fees" ;)
I love this channel! You really seem to know everything about Survivor and I live for your videos.
Bless Bill.
Michelle smh. Ami was a great villain. Seeing her game crash and burn was lovely
11:44 great handshake😂
What should be in the Top 5? What's your #1 dumbest move that doesn't get enough recognition?
Peridiam I posted this on twitter when you asked but I'll add it here too.
Dumb moments and moves:
Roark's attempt at a all female alliance
The producers bringing colton back
Rupert's shelter
The Open Forum in Cagayan
Lex trusting Boston Rob
Brandon. Just everything about him
JT giving Russell his idol
The boys giving away immunity in One World
Colby siding with Danielle instead of Amanda
Clarence taking an extra cherry (or whatever it was)
Getting rid of Chicken #BringBackChicken
GC's Disappearance
Letting the chickens go in Samoa
Chase Rice being super paranoid
Gervase overcelebrating in BvsW
Will bullying Shirin
Taylor stealing food
Tyson voting himself out
Half the Brains tribe in Cagayan
Michaela's Blindside in MvGX
Debb at the reunion of Australia
Cydney telling Scot and Jason about the idol Alecia was looking for #BringBackAlecia
yeah and when Chrissy didn't use the superidol on Katrina #BringBackKatrina
MITKO74510 I think that was a good idea so she could use the idol later in the season
Marcus throwing the idol in the ocean
Abi is annoying, immature and I do not like her but two things about her can't be denied. She was kinda good in challenges like I did not expect that. And the other is that she is not dumb. She knew her spot in tribe and she had several foreshadowed moments when she predicted the winner or the fact that the possible runner-ups have no chance against the future winner, she knew that, that was incredible.
Monica Culpepper choosing to stick I with Tyson and Gervase instead of Hayden and Ciera
she loses either way so I don't think it's that bad. definitely frustrating to watch though
Disagree.
It didn’t matter she was not gunna win in any scenario
Great video!!! The Abi vote is a big one and something I also thought when I rewatched that season recently. Skupin was someone I was rooting for but couldn't stay rooting for when he made such bad moves. Also was rooting for Ken but couldn't believe how he blew up Will's games and still made it to the end (it was great drama though!)
I went completely nuts when Ken blew up Will’s move. I rooted for Ken the whole season until that moment. So idiotic
poor JT, how the might have fallen
How great he was in toncantins and the other two nah
but I need a JT redemption moment
He could if he gets casted for season 40
He wasnt great in tocantins. The jury was just bitter.
Omg but i love Erik from survivor: China :,(
Same
Will you do Top 10 Smartest Moves in Survivor?
Sure!
Lol. In ken’s defense its a 5-4 vote. Will could have been playing him and voted him out. Thats not a dumb move. You are basically putting your game in the hands of someone that is a flipper, thats not very comforting.
UA-cam is just so stupid for removing your Ghost Island review. Still mad about it, now people don't get to see it.
Well I'm sure we all knew Ken's "test" for Will would be on this list lmao the way Adam reiterates what happened in confessional cracks me up every time 😂
I really like hearing you rip on Scoopan and Ken. God bless 😇
QUEEN MICHELLE TESAURO
I'd argue that J.T. giving away the idol wasn't even the dumbest move of that season (hi Tyson).
Dingle Barry I know, I was just backing you up :)
top 10 quotes in survivor history?
“U can only fire a machine gun into a barrel so many times before the fish just evaporate”
Lmao what?!
Smh
What?!
Oh cool! I did a video on underrated dumb moves too a couple months back :) Check it out if you wanna :) Love your videos Peridiam :D
I am waiting every Wednesday to see your new video and you nrver fail me!
Also Ken revealing Wil's plan always pisses me off :p
I always thought Skupin and Lisa voting abi our was so stupid
"Get the machine gun"
*shotgun sound plays*
Haven't watched yet but hitting like already😊 I just love your channel. Please keep up the good work.
"I'm risking a lot" lmao he was literally risking nothing. They were on the bottom. Wtf was he thinking?
Michelle was so amazing in the challenge yet so horrible in strategy. That's one move that saved Sandra too. 🤣
In Lisa’s defense, it isn’t a guarantee that Abi loses in the finals, given her allies on the jury, and the possibility of jury bitterness, and Abi was very condescending to her (and in general). That’s why taking a goat to the end isn’t as easy as some people make it.
Keith's legendary "Stick to the plan" :D
Brandon Quinton voting for Kelly has got to be up there. Single handedly cost Samburu the final four and himself a great chance at the win but for some reason nobody talks about it anymore
And then J.T. outdid himself in Game Changers by making a dumber move then his record. Lol how this guy ever win?
JMaster98 Because people loved him, was really good at jury management, gave a great FTC performance and he had his best friend holding back his more trigger-happy tendencies. Just because he made hilarious mistakes in future appearances doesn't take away how well he played when he won.
South Pacific: Savaii Tribe when their goal is to kick Christine out of the game
----> one of the dumbest moves EVER for me
I don't get how no one ever mentions the final 7 vote of survivor all stars.
Like Cydney from Koah Rong (Season 32) said:
"How stupid can you be?"
Erik is one of my favorite survivors
My first name is James, My initials are JT and my last name is also a first name. hMMMMMM
First
Hoping Guatemala gets some love in the top 5 (or is simply just acknowledged that it's actually a survivor season...)
Whether it's Rafe's move after the final immunity challenge, the auction where Danni was just handed the advantage or the fact the Danni was CONSTANTLY kept around despite Rafe keeping immunity away from her multiple times, it seemed like the entire cast just wanted her to win the money.
*sigh* One of theost underrated seasons has just so god damn many bad moves.
;)
Wonder how rafe would hold up today
9:30 Abi was right. Skoopin had no chance to win. Even if it was a final two with Abi, I think she stands a chance. Any other combination, Michael loses. Lisa totally wins against Michael and Abi.
Haha. Eric was a friend of mine in highschool. He's a good guy. And doesn't deserve all the criticism he has gotten. (He does deserve some of it for giving away his idol) thanks for pointing out other stops moves.
can we add Denise voting out Sandra in waw 😳
that was my favorite moment in MvG LOL good for Will for just living in that emotion and giving nothing but authenticity.
Brilliant move hatched by michelle to save michelle only to be screwed up by michelle. Lol thats hilarious.
Whatever, Eric could get it. He is a hot simp w a heart of gold. Dream man. James, Colby, JT, and Tyson are all kinda misogynistic
Awesome video. Keen for part 2
He just happened to luck out because James was even dumber.
top 5
My number 1 would be from Guatemala when rafe had the chance of winning the whole game and giving up that alliance or whatever deal that he had with Danni
13:45 I love Adam’s entire delivery in this. Cracks me up every time. XD
