Look out for #18.
Raymond is 2020 NHL Draft Eligible.
I can definitely see Raymond and Zadina working some magic together in the near future
Good call. Dude just went to the Wings.
Are you a wizard of time ?
Bernie SanderZ obviously didn’t watch the Lightning this year ya old geriatric fuck
Bernie SanderZ hey how did Brayden Point do in the playoffs this year?
absolutly terrific now this duet will be reality.... WOOOOW
One thing I love about Raymond is you really do see the Hockey Sense. He’s so predictable and everything is very methodical, calculated, and planned. Makes for a great watch. When you can watch film of the ice, and see the entire rink, and then correctly predict what a guy is going to do with the puck right before he does it... Makes for a very great watch as an evaluator. Love to see this. Great stuff.
Wow this guy is gonna be one of the best of the draft.
If he can fine tune his shot, he will turn out to be one of the best players in this draft a few years down the line. Hope to god Stevie takes him a 4.. we need RHF badly.. well.. forwards in general, but RHF would be preferred.
Also seems to play well with Jonatan Berggren (DET prospect) 😈 Hope to see them playing together in the near future 😃
Your wish came through!
@@gordonstockley6747 Super happy lol!
@Joe Stormbird Nielsen hell yeah
Superstar in the making bro
Come on wings draft this guy
Nah Ottawa will draft him 5th you guys will draft Jamie
@@sensfan7550 though that is possible, Detroit has some stud defensemen in thier system right now. Taking a forward is a must in this draft, let alone 4th overall.
@@thenickfoxx Wouldn't you want Rossi.
@@hockeysnipes3656 yeah I'd take him. But I think Raymond has a higher ceiling. Would still be happy with Rossi though.
Sens fan 7 they won’t take another right handed defenseman who isn’t even best available at 4.
Welcome to Detroit brother
ottawa.
curefied Ottawa not taking him at 3😂
@@TheMusicInsider773 yeah........they taking him at 5 goofy lol
curefied Detroit taking him at 4, youre braindead clearly. Don’t believe the wings hype with Perfetti.
@@TheMusicInsider773 they have had 3 meetings with perfetti little boy.
Damn Söderstrom (#9) Raymond (#18) and Holtz (#10) are SO fun to Watch
Okay the play that starts at 6:12, when he goes in the corner and does a little stutter step that sends the defender flying... He was a mental step or two ahead of the guy. Just insane talent this kid has and I am stoked he's coming to Detroit.
Wings won’t need to take him but still a favourite prospect of mine. I’m sure he’ll have an elite career
If we fall to 4 and stutzle is gone, I'm willing to bet its either Raymond or Drysdale
@@thenickfoxx omg you called it lol
Stevie Y continues to show he’s as good at player scouting, as he was a player.. (I mean, that Lightning team that just won the Cup is essentially all his guys). You could argue that Yzerman had the toughest pick in the draft at #4. The first 3 picks were a given. The only ? there was who would go first, Byfield or Stutzle ? After the Top 3 we’re talking any of the following could’ve been picked at #4 ; Raymond, Rossi, Perfetti, Drysdale, Holtz, Lundell, Quinn... No one would’ve fell out of their chairs the least bit if any of those names were called at 4 (especially the first 5 names). But this is why Yzerman got it right with picking Raymond, bc of this key attribute that Raymond posses, the ability to drive the play. Players like Holtz, Perfetti & Quinn are more of the complimentary player type. They’re not so much “play drivers”, as they are the snipers that are the beneficiary of a player like Raymond, who has created the time & space for them. Rossi can drive the play and I think will be a very good player, I just think Raymond is more the rich mans version of him. Raymond has plus+ skills in the following areas ; Skating, puck-handling, vision, passing, puck protection & shooting.
Players like Holtz & Rossi are further along in their development and I believe they will make a bigger impact than Raymond, even as soon as next season in the NHL. But long term, Raymond will be the better player. Holtz & Rossi will probably be in the NHL next year, and I can say with certainty that Raymond will either have another season in Sweden or be moved to the AHL. But there’s no rush at all to get Raymond in a Wings uniform (other than excitement). The Wings have to get a better foundation in place for Raymond to come to after he’s had more seasoning. Yzerman will make that happen and has already got that process in motion with the signings of Stetcher, Greiss & Ryan.
The return of Hockeytown is coming faster than most know.. and that’s bc of an original member, Yzerman.
The Wings have been rebuilding now for several years, but I believe when Yzerman took Raymond, they just got the all important forward that they can build their entire offense/team around for years. I think Raymond will go down as a top 3 player in this draft, and a perennial All Star.
So excited to see you play for the Wings!
Love this pick for the ref wings. Love Luca Raymond
Future hall of famer. - Daniel flood 2020
Career ending injury in 2022 - Me
Officially a Red Wing! Let’s go!!
Raymond - Veleno - Zadina is gonna be our future 2nd line
I’m just imaging a top powerplay with Raymond on the left side and zadina on the right, seider up top, Rasmussen in front at 6’6 and svechnikov in the middle/roaming.
Commander Shepard wouldn’t want Larkin or mantha ?
He's a stud
Stevie y gotta great pick here. Wings gonna be good soon. Make Datsyuk proud.
So TORN between Drysdale and Raymond for Detroit at #4.
Steve probably is doing all nighters to figure out which player is more BPA. I think Raymond is similar to a talent development as to Artemi Panarin even though most compare Lucas to Mitch Marner. Raymond plays with more controlled anger and would drop the gloves if necessary for a teammate than Stutzle ever would.
Red Wings retrospective have to compare Raymond to Tatar's aggressive tempo out on the ice and work to dig the puck out.
His creativity is through the roof. Only thing stopping his execution is his experience. In time, he’ll prove to be a 1st or 2nd overall pick.
Welcome to the winged wheel!!!
Raymond has a lot of qualities that remind me of Steve Yzerman.
Absolute goat
Right handed Jack Hughes
He play alot like Marner
Vic Germain you beat me to it, plays like a Marner clone
Vic Germain c
@@vicgermain4179 Better shot and maybe not that great playmaking
@Stop the BS Overrated after one season?
I think one of the safer picks in the draft with good skating, defensive abilities and a high compete level. Moves fluidly in the offensive zone and has good vision and awareness to set up others. I just don't see the PURE finishing ability. I think if Perfetti can continue to improve the skating and ability in tight spaces, which scouts say he did last year, his ceiling is higher. Thoughts? (Ducks fan unsure who they should pick here)
I wanted Detroit to take Marco Rossi after watching video of him doing things that reminded me of Pavel Datsyuk, but when the Wings took Raymond I looked at video like this one and changed my mind. Still think Rossi will be a star but I think Raymond may be the better player in the long run.
He’s going to be better than Marner imo
lmfaooooooooo delusional fuck
curefied Marner’s way overpaid and overrated 😢
curefied Raymond compares to Panarin better
@@curefied who is delusional now pal?
@@hitibikunu 7 games into the season? you are a moron lol
Welcome to Detroit 🙌
Imagine sens fans a top 6 of
Raymond-Stuzle-Batherson
Tkchuck-Brown-Duclair
I'm high on brown I think he can still develop into a great center, hes been showing steady progress.
He is a red wing
@@stevenjack5428 yeah congrats.
Possible Red Wings first round draft pick. Holtz too. They could aslo go with Cole Perfetti
Where do you find this footage? Is it edited from full game replays? Thanks
He really does look like marner when he has the puck, pass first kind of guy, I’m not thrilled but I’m not as disappointed anymore.
Thrilled now are u?
Welcome to the Red Wings!
Who's a Wings fan and is here a year later?? LGRW
Reminds me of Zetterberg when he was young
Raymond is still my top 3 and Lundell is my top 5
Lundell is not top 5, he has been passed. That would be a mistake taking him that high
I don’t think Raymond is a top 3 player, Lundell is probably going to go right outside of the top 10 unless a team is real desperate for a center
FAGE Raymond top 5, Lundell top 10.
I think Raymond Raymond is 5th. There is so many good forwards Its Hard to tel but I think he'll be 5th. And about Lundell, well not sure where he goes but Who ever picks him, gets a steal. I think he is now ranked 8th or something like that. Havent cheched those prospects lists anyways I think he'll be around 10th and well Who ever gets him will be a happy Team. Dude had some injuries this season, not good thing but his Point totals in Liiga were still Great... Playing against Men 0,63points/game
Samu Leino yeah I have Raymond as the 6th best forward in the draft. I have Holtz over Raymond but depending who you ask, you can either prefer the playmaker in Raymond or the goal scorer in Holtz. Holtz did have a better year so I gave him the edge
He’s going to jersey
Bruh in your dreams
I hope so!
@@nexushockeyHD lol how does jersey get him.... they either win a top 3 pick which is stutzle byfield or lafrenierre... Raymond goes 4-5 range max...zero chance of jersey getting him
@@aallard3959 Rossi and Drysdale could both easily go ahead of him. You also never know what can happen on draft day, someone might go off board with Lundell / Perfetti / Sanderson in the top 5. yeah, zero chance that a guy ranked between 4 and 6 goes 6th overall... fuck you're dumb.
@@nexushockeyHD I am sorry the only one that will go ahead of him is Drysdale to a team that needs defence. And what 3 teams go off the board in a row so that he slides to buffalo at the 7 spot?
Weird that they didn’t say how old he is🤷🏼♂️😂
Ryan Burritt it was a joke😂
Ryan Burritt rip

makes me sad he’s 17 im 17 i play hockey he’s legit being drafted

First jk no one cares
Should of taken Perfetti or Rossi!
No way. Those boys are droppin right now, and Raymond is playing in the SHL as a 17 - 18 year old.
Dirty Beef Curtains we’ll see
What a steal for the Jets
He is not even good
Well I think they showed clips against bad competition but he’s still a great player
Konradxxx X never gonna make it to the nhl
Why do you think that he can adjust very well to the nhl
I accidentally sent it twice my bad
Nvm I disnt
