Most amazing ornate Keltic designs on some of those graves beautiful large old trees and that gorgeous dog wood shrub with all the white flowers. Fantastic video.
My Mom and I like to drive through cemeteries. The stone masonry is beautiful. In a couple weeks her and i will be doing our annual cemetery run where we go and put fresh silk flowers on all the family graves, its a 167 mile loop and takes all day. Usually we try to do it in mid May but this year its been tricky. We finally have time in mid July.
Thanks for the great video guys! I glad that they keep their cemetery grounds kept up. The streetlight lamp posts were also very nice, it really made the cemetery look nice, I really liked that too. Thanks for the video guys, really appreciate it.
Wow this was amazingly beautiful 👏👏😍😍❤❤.The best way to go to bed with soothing music and beautiful scenery🥰🥰🥰 thank you Jon🙏 much love from Houston Texas❤
I live in Knoxville. I'd like to see you explore the Sequoyah Hills area, its supposed to be haunted. My mom has experienced things working in those homes.
I live right down the street to old gray. You could have talked a little about some of the people that lay there. There are some interesting famous people there. I go there every day.
Hi Jon! That was a beautiful cemetery. The big tree that Heather stood by was beautiful. I also liked the street lamp posts. Lots of pretty grave stones.
Wow Jon. That was truly an amazing piece of art. Yes art. Freaking sweet. Really needed that after this day of hell. Thank you for sharing. You are truly awsome. Blees you and you're family..have a beautiful evening..zig.😎
Beautiful cemetery I am a new subscriber and I have been watching quite a few of your videos I love them all I love all the spooky ones the best specially when you use the box that your friend made to speak to the people that has passed away that is so awesome I’m subscribe to him also when will your next video come out love watching them thanks ❤️👍👍
I got an Uber call to a Knoxville cemetary at night. The gate was open but there was no one there. It was small enough that I could see the whole place. I left the doors locked, tried calling the passenger, let the clock run out and cancelled. I hauled ass out of there hoping I hadn't picked up a passenger without my knowledge. Spooky!
I don't know why people felt like they had to have tall monuments. A simple stone would suffice. This cemetery was put at the very edge of town back in the day, and now it's mid town or inner city. It is so old that there are no family left to put flowers on graves. Which is sad but a fact of life. They built a New Gray Cemetery off Middlebrook Pike and my ggrandmother and gggreatgrandmother are buried there. It was considered way out in the country. My parents are buried in a similar cemetery that is very old with trees bigger than these I think. There are a couple of those tall monuments too but most are sedate and some with headstones with chairs, some with funny sayings, real bluebirds, owls squirrels, rabbits and tons of mockers. Most cemeteries are very peaceful.
My uncle is buried here he done 2 tours in Vietnam he volunteered died 3 weeks after coming home from a drunk driver in a car of 4 he was the only one who was killed
A few years ago b4 plandemic they use to have a tour you could take with people dressed in period clothes in front of tombstone and would tell you their story as if they were that person and they had a civil war reenactive part there too with horse carriage ride tour made that place very interesting. I dont know if there are any more plans for that but I found thàt day very interesting
@@rosezelecki1756 Yes that was b4 I retired so it was around 2016 or 2015. You know on gay street they had a gun battle between 2 or 3 people. It resulted in 3 killed and buried near each other. Part of the issue was both sides were different over the civil war. One family name was Mabry I forget the whole story but you can look it up. I found it interesting. Course living in this area of east tn and having descendants way back in knoxville makes it all the more interesting for me. That shooting happened in the 1880s I think
