I could liston you talk and Daniel in the back ground all day long. Your giggles make my day. The kiddos are happy!!!LOL Daddy's wining!! SWEET MIAH IS A KEEPER!! LOL
Those boys were paddling like experts from the start! Beautiful gardens and planters! Overflowing abundance of God’s blessings including two tiny okra seedlings! 👌💕👏
The 'tomato' supports not only work well, but they add a nice sculptural element to the garden as well! They also compliment the other metal elements you have tucked here and there. Lovely!
Jess! I can’t believe how this farm has grown in just two seasons! So jealous (in a good way) 😮. I love watching everything you do. It gives me such inspiration. I smiled so big watching the boys get in the pond with their kayaks! Farm kids have the best memories.
Congrats on corn sprouts! Hope you have mockingbirds to chase away any crows! We cheer ours on, and then they finish off in a near tree with a little crazy tune picked up who knows where. Love how seeds are like, "hey! here I am!, you dropped me here, in this somewhat inhospitable place!, no trouble, I'll just grow here until you can see me..." 😄 No rain for us an hour away since April, and none really forecast until the 23rd. Concrete planters we can sort of keep up with. If the plant can take some drought, but that's about the realistic limit for much growing, in sunlight, outside of winter for us. Good luck with any hanging baskets. I'm really surprised, now that you have the high tunnels open, that birds aren't taking 90% of the strawberries. Maybe it's the height? They come right up on our porch, or right next to where we working, so it's not human activity. 😅Figuring up a way to create a section in our high demand shade, with netting, so we get to have a patch for us. Strawberries really started living through summer once they were in deep shade. The alpine strawberries started winter of 2021 are stealing the show though. Might work out nicely in a greenstalk because they don't seem to need quite as much...of everything.
Happy to tell you that after not giving up on my one remaining Globe artichoke I planted 2 years ago through very cold and really odd weather here in the Mohave Desert, Zone 8B technically, the plant has fruited! The one was of three originally sprouted and grown in 20" diameter pots. Hooray! I was so excited to see the darling 1" artichoke appear today! Wow. Worth covering with fabric and plastic and hoping year to year to now 3rd season from seed.
I just love Bear! He is so loyal to you Jess 🥰 Jeremiah definitely made the right call with the kayaks for the boys! The garden is looking so lovely - Thank you Jess!
Miah, what an awesome gift!!! You are such a great Dad. I wish I could go back in time 63 years and be adopted by you and Jess. What a great life you are creating. Jess the garden looks great. I love your joy and excitement. It’s contagious. We need a pandemic of joy!!! 😊
I had a horrible Mother’s Day. I couldn’t stop crying at work, I put you on and just listened while I cleaned on my shift. Thank you, you made me so happy. Can’t wait for Wisconsin weather to warm up up
Days of fun on the water thanks to Miah :) Great call. For me, hours of fun every week watching your vlogs Jess. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us, :)
Lucky kids. Those kajaks are so much fun. Miah you are truly a great Dad. Jess that big metal sunflower can be the "light" next to your garden "bed". You place is changing by the minute. Hardly can wait for the garden tour.
Oh Jessica! The garden is looking so very beautiful. I saw Miah’s video today. He gathering quite the following! Your shows are so different, but between the two of you you pretty much cover mostly everything to do with gardening and homesteading. I can’t wait to see how it all grows through the years! Bless y’all ❤️
Bear is loving the floor of that new pavilion. Nice cool stone to lay on:) .... So neat to hear your chimes again! .... Boys will be busy on the pond:)
I'm seeing a childrens' camp developing at the R & R farm. Swim, kayak, grow, harvest, climb, build campfires, spend nights in the Shark Tank "penthouse", witness the miracle of life... Miah and Jess-you've done your children right. They are enjoying a FABULOUS childhood and creating many heartwarming memories.
Oh my gosh, a cacophony of little boy voices!!! Just so stinkin' adorable. And I'm not jealous nu-uh - our high today was 16C (61F) with wind and rain. Okay, i admit it, JEALOUS :) Summer dreamin' as I watch the video
I told my husband about extravagant daddy and he laughed. It is totally something he would have done when our kids were at home. He was definitely fun. I said I would be the one standing on the ponds edge worrying about what could happen but enjoying seeing them happy
Your joy and happiness is so inspiring and I await your videos with anticipation. Doesn’t matter the content your soul is shining through. So happy to have found your postings! Thank you!
We used to fill baskets with cherry tomatoes 20 yrs ago. Just great hanging near picnic table and all along patio. 9 of us kids plus spouses and grandkids... Sure saved a lot of food prep time, etc.
It’s ok, Jess. I too am enamored of tiny things! Especially tiny bottles and tiny pastries. You are so precious and I hope your micro tomatoes are abundant and delicious ♥️
Watching your boys joy just made my day! Your garden is looking so beautiful and you are too! Take care Jess during the heat. Thank you for sharing your garden, family and animals!! ❤
Jess, I could watch you and your family all day! You have so inspired us...I do have a question. Where do you get you landscape fabric you put under the gravel or granite?
Jess- your garden is back!!! That was my first thought when I watched the opening scene of you placing your sunflower stake in the raised bed, adding the finishing touches that makes the garden whimsical and so you!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm growing a tomato variety called Tiny Tim and its so small and cute, last year I grew one called Tidy Treats and it was one of the most delicious tomato varieties I have ever grown. The plant got about 12 inches tall but produced so many tomatoes. Im looking foward to seeing yours grow. I smiled so much seeing how happy your boys were with their surprise. So cute. I love your garden amd your family so much, your videos bring me peace. Stay blessed Jess. ❤
Happy birthday corn!!! Yah...there's nothing like a good roaster with butter on it. I'm sssooo excited with all the varieties you've got going on! Those youngins are in hog heaving. 😁 Sweet Miah knows his boys! I'm so happy for y'all! I thought it would take a couple years longer to get where you're at?!? Congratulations❤!!! I Bless the Sowards! Love & hugs!❤😇🙏🌈
I saw a real cool design for the garden. It was like a wire bodice with like a trellis skirt. The bodice was filled with flowers and the skirt was filled in with some kind a flowering fine. That would look cute in you antique bed
I like to use that same style of "tomato cages" for my peppers, too. I use the slightly larger ones (in a bunch of fun colors) and plant one plant next to each vertical wire, so it's like three plants holding hands in a circle.
Swing set chain is great for lowering hanging baskets to a more tolerable climate. The boys are going to have a blast all the way to next winter! Wtg Dad! ☮️💖🙏🤜
How fun is it to be a young boy on the cusp of summer and your dad brings something so cool as a kayak for the pond!
Well written. Many blessings everyone.
I would be so happy! Haha They will have such good childhoods to remember~ also the sharktank!
Those boys are living the life. It makes me so happy to see them so happy. Way to go Dad👏👍👏👍👏👍
I loved seeing them and the light in their eyes as they were paddling around, what a joy to see it.
The kids reaction to the kayaks! Miah just earned Best Dad Ever for at least a year!!!!! They are going to LOVE spending time in the pond! 💕💕💕
I could liston you talk and Daniel in the back ground all day long.
Your giggles make my day.
The kiddos are happy!!!LOL
Daddy's wining!!
SWEET MIAH IS A KEEPER!! LOL
Today has been ROUGH. This video is a "little strawberry blessin" of self care. Thank you
I hope things improve for you soon
@@asnarkygirl Thank you.
Hoping you experience God's hug today with a reminder you are seen, loved, and never forgotten.
You're not in the water "oh yeah!" Too cute, but don't tell him I said so and embarrass him. Many blessings to everyone.
@@KatherineWalden Thank you.
Bear is all about the pavilion. Shade and cool stone!!
Win for Dad! ✌🏻🙏🏼❤️
❤❤❤ the pond footage was AWESOME! They will remember that for the rest of their lives.🥰
How stinking cute are those kayaks! They will remember this summer as one of the best ever. Major best dad award.
I'm winning at dadding right now! HAHA! Good dad move for sure!
A tree house, a pond and kayaks and yummy snacks they'll never leave home lol
Those boys were paddling like experts from the start! Beautiful gardens and planters! Overflowing abundance of God’s blessings including two tiny okra seedlings! 👌💕👏

That giant sunflower statue it so cool🌻
The 'tomato' supports not only work well, but they add a nice sculptural element to the garden as well! They also compliment the other metal elements you have tucked here and there. Lovely!

Watching your boys receive and enjoy the kayaks made me smile from ear to ear the whole time. Absolutely precious!
OMG…I just turned 70 and now what I really want is to be a kid on a kayak in your pond.
Jess! I can’t believe how this farm has grown in just two seasons! So jealous (in a good way) 😮. I love watching everything you do. It gives me such inspiration. I smiled so big watching the boys get in the pond with their kayaks! Farm kids have the best memories.

Those sweet boys dragging their kayaks was the best picture. :) Way to go dad!
Those walkway okra sprouts was God knowing you needed a couple more. ❤🌱🌱
My husband often asks if I forgot about them because when garden season hits, lunch is an 'on your own' kinda deal! 😂
Jess this year you should do a tomato collection picture collage!
Happy to tell you that after not giving up on my one remaining Globe artichoke I planted 2 years ago through very cold and really odd weather here in the Mohave Desert, Zone 8B technically, the plant has fruited! I’m the same. Gardening has begun! Fend for yourselves! 😂
It was so sweet when you replanted those 2 baby okra and then patted them and gently pulled up their little blankie of hay.💕
I just love Bear! He is so loyal to you Jess 🥰 Jeremiah definitely made the right call with the kayaks for the boys! The garden is looking so lovely - Thank you Jess!
Bear looks happy to have a pavilion to just enjoy
Looking at how black your fingers are reminds me how I used to always wear gloves and then one day I didn't. I haven't looked back😊
Loved seeing Bear at the beginning of this vog!💜💙💚💚💛😎
Oh Jess I so enjoy the videos with your boys! I’m a grandmother of four! And they listened to their daddy so well. ❤

Sand alone or perlite are often used to sprout seeds. I'm not surprised you were given your seeds back as tiny sprouts. Many blessings all y'all.
Hey Jess - For your hanging baskets try putting a disposable diaper in the bottom to hold more water.
It’s ok, Jess. I too am enamored of tiny things! Especially tiny bottles and tiny pastries. You are so precious and I hope your micro tomatoes are abundant and delicious ♥️
It’s so good to see you feeling good! I was worried about you last year!
