It seems, for the average consumer, having your own tartan registered and woven with a Scottish mill is gonna cost you around $2000 USD for 20 yards.

Yup. Guess I have to learn how to weave now....
      I'm only half joking. 🙄
Edit: Obviously we could try saving, but the truth is we're all mostly paid way less than we should be therefore I blame capitalist greed (not to be confused with small businesses seeking profit) for making it near impossible for me to share my heritage through traditional clothing.

I have two ideas brewing for two different tartans. So, one of the things that I've yet to figure out why this does this, but in the American Heritage tartan, the lighter blue seems to actually glow with how the white stripe runs right down the middle. Not sure if that was the intended look but well done!

+USAKiltsOfficial *Thanks for the manufacturer and registrar perspectives.* I've all but finalized a universal Tartan "Rainbow Plaid" sett in eight colors. But I'll have to contact Clan Carmichael USA for a collaboration on a new Hunting sett referencing the already-established Carmichael Ancient sett.

What people need to understand is that Titans are actually considered part of heraldry. And the average person is not allowed to add to clan heraldry.

Question for the next episode: would you recommend copyrighting a tartan design before registering it, after, or at all?

Could one use the naming convention Smith from Tallahassee, as opposed to of Tallahassee? Or even the Tallahassee Smith tartan, this putting the qualifier in front of the name?

It is my browser causing the problem that it won't let me activate the designer after selecting the color I want to use to design the Tartan Pattern I want. Can you help me, please?
    Thank you for your Website.

@Dee Black I haven't seen one but that doesn't mean it isn't out there.

I believe there is. I can not remember where I saw it, but there is a LGBTQ, trans, as well as a nonbinary one.

@deeblack9393 *I've a universal Tartan project with dark-brown and white lands and red/orange/yellow/light-green/light-blue/light-purple separators.* Had to reduce the colors from eleven, as the Scottish Register of Tartans (GBR) has no codes for chartreuse, teal, and/or indigo. Don't know about trans- , enby-, or ace/aro-specific Tartan projects.
