Melee weapons are great against unarmored zombies but if you hit armor it will break the armor first and if your melee connects with flesh will outright nuke most non boss zombies but still sledgehammer go bonk.

@Xxwinter_frostxX First, find an obelisk location on the map, there's around 13 different random locations obelisk can spawn. Use the corresponding ammo mod attached to your weapon that the obelisk displays near the bottom, which is required to complete that task. The mods it shows at random for you to use are Brain Rot, Cryo Freeze, Dead Wire, or Napalm Burst but you only use 3 of these. Unfortunately, there's no way to know which 3 will be required. Then, stay in the circle and kill the zombies with the weapon mod attached that the obelisk displayed. You do this 3 times at 3 different obelisks. Finally, the Unstable Rift will show as a red circle on your screen. Everyone can see the location of the rift and whoever gets there first and votes gets to go in, so a random could just be waiting to see the red rift and go in. The rift then closes and even though you did all the work you don't get to go in because you weren't fast enough. If this happens, you must complete the 3 obelisks again so the rift will reappear in another random spot. I hope that this helps and I didn't make it too complicated while trying to explain the steps. Oh and tombstone doesn't work in the unstable rift so if you have items in your tombstone and die, you will lose everything you went in with and your tombstone items. If you see a tombstone while killing zombies during the 5 waves, it is not "yours", it just drops a random power-up. Recommendations: You don't need perks or weapon upgrades as these are given automatically at the start of round one. Scorcher and the RGL with dead wire detonators or the crossbow and scorcher, kazmirs and self revives.
