Thank you so much for this video! A few years ago I used to work a lot with Flash, but I didn't know, that I can import my animations from Animate into Indesign. That's really very cool, thank you very much Angelo! :)
Angelo, another great tutorial. I want to learn more about Animate. I remember "back in the day" when Adobe had Flash. It seems somewhat complicated, Animate is more user friendly.
Great Idea. Can I use this in InDesign to export this in a PDF?
Hi Ric! great question. This technique uses a method that supports HTML5. It will not work for PDF Interactive.
PDF is still an amazing tool for simple interactivity: Button navigation, hyperlinks, forms, text fields. However a lot of the rich media stuff that used to work no longer does because Flash being phased out.
@@AngeloMontilla What a pity! Many Thanks for response.
Awesone video! I'm learning a lot more here than in College. LOL It would be great if you show us to do the materials on illustrator or animate. Thanks again!
Thanks Sergio! I am happy to hear you are learning a lot from my channel. I will keep your suggestions in mind!
Hi Angelo, this was great just one question. Why did you only have to apply the actions layer to gear 1 and not all the other gears? Thanks you!!
Would it work in powerpoint as well?
What type of file export will this work to create after bringing in to In Design (to retain animated properties)?
Hi Jamie. Because this is HTML, your options are Publish Online or EPub. Interactive PDF will not support this. Thanks for the question!
Maybe it’s an option to make a gif off it in animate and then import it to indesign? I thought that gifs do work in an interactive pdf and you still have the same results. I’m not sure but maybe you can also use a button in an interactive pdf to play or stop the gif
