    funny thing is
    love them all
but the irony is ONE is actually using BASIC LOGIC VIA PHILOSOPHY AND A-PRIORI
the others are using word salad to describe something abstract in all ways with no hard logic
let alone revelation (even without using it)

I think the best way to understand Sufism is thru degrees of consciouness. Quran talks about shift of consciouness from nafs Al amara( animal based consciouness) to nafs Al mutmaena( soul based consciouness). This shift in consciouness can only happen when one decides to internalize truth and completely submit his will to Allah(One/Indivisble Infinite Perfection). you can think of it in Immanuel Kants terms as Trasnscdental apperception shifting from Pheonomena(things as they appear) to Noumena(things as they are in themselves). Kant says theoretical reason cannot establish. noumena, but noumena is the foundation for practical reason. Sufi says one can have glimpses into noumena(metaphysical reality) thru categorical imperative, which sufi defines as complete and utter submission to will of God, Divine will which is revealed in Quran and example of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him). Kant would say noumena is unknowable because we are constrained by forms of intuiton and categories of understanding, but sufi would say you can transcend theoretical reason and actually have some glimpses of God,soul, freedom etc. But this transemddence from phenomena would require shift in consciousness which happens thru purification of Heart….

Attic book why do you ignore the philosophy of Mulla Sadra in your content? I’ve never seen you make a video on this important topic. Mulla Sadra’s philosophy is incredibly rich and beneficial for viewers, and it would be highly valuable if you regularly made videos on his work. His contributions to philosophy, especially his ideas on existence and the soul, are profound and deserve more attention.
In comparison to Ghazali, Mulla Sadra, Ibn Arabi, Maulana Rumi, and Ibn Sina made far greater contributions to philosophy and mysticism. Ghazali’s work, though influential, doesn’t hold the same depth as these towering figures. Mulla Sadra’s philosophy offers a comprehensive understanding of the nature of being and reality, something that Ghazali’s focus on theological matters doesn’t fully address. The contributions of Mulla Sadra, Ibn Arabi, Ibn Sina, and Maulana Rumi are far-reaching and have left a lasting impact on both Islamic and Western thought.

Clearly, Al-Ghazali was wrong in his interpretation of Quran. Quran should be read metaphorically but Al-Ghazali was convinced that it should be read literally. Al-Ghazali rejected logic and reason in Islam. Philosophy indeed sharpens the intellect which is something that Al-Ghazali refused to accept. Because of Al-Ghazali, Muslims were discouraged from seeking knowledge of social science and technologies.

That is not true, Al Ghazali never said we should read the Qur'an literally. It is the opposite, he had statements in his books where he said some parts should be read literally and some not.
