That fender is so cool, its basically a hybrid of guitar and bass.
It's the bass version of the Fender Jaguars, which were originally Guitars only.
It’s a Bass VI.
Awesome video overall, Sergio is so under rated. I would have loved to hear him playing through the gear more though
Such a positive guy :)

My favourite finger/slap players: Tim Commerford, Fieldy, Flea, Les Claypool, Chi Cheng
Fav pick players: David Ellefsson, Justin Cancellor and of course Sergio Vega!
Fromaggio Pretty sure it’s David Ellefson.
Viko Oh yeah lol I confused him with Dan Lilker
Timmy C for sure!
Well hes right about the Orange cabs. I got my 2x12 and instantly ALL my amps sounded much better!
@01:18 : Sounds a bit like the bass line on "(L)MIRL" off the Gore album.
Such a cool name too, what a dude
Badass review. Thanks!
We need a Micro Bass.
Is this what he actually uses tho? Bass on the new Quicksand is one of the best tones I've ever heard.
Will Yip produced their newest album! The bass tone sounds very orangey to me, but I can't say for sure. His studio site also lists ampeg and fender combos.
Amebix is a hell of a band.
Sad to hear he is no longer with THE D . 😢
legend!!!!!!!
Yes!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I wish i had a Terror Bass! @
Is he not using those digital racks anymore?
He is using Axe Fx but also had a OB, probably just for running his 2 8x10 cabs
No fingers!! Picks!!
arrnge
Deftones did him dirty.. Im kinda sad for him, and very disappointed at Deftones for not making him an equal member after "filling in'" for Chi for 12 years. Don't turn into freaking Metallica, Deftones.
Picks bahahaha Timmy C begs to differ...
No need to be close minded. Not all guitarist use picks. There's positive and negatives to both, and it really comes down to sound and style
Yes fingers. No picks!
Anyone isnt open-minded to both probably does one better than the other. Practice both ways, achieve all tones..... unless you're Andy.... then you can achieve picked tones with your finger
@@badguacamole3709 Lol at the time I used to think that way and I hate that I did. Now I use both techniques.
