You do not need to air dirty laundry from past relationships with a new potential partner. Simply "I am divorced. It was painful and I'm moving on." That's it.
I agree, I know some partners try to pressure and say I'm supposed to know everything about you" and "why are you hiding things from me?" The only things I think need to be disclosed are if there are STD's.

She saved it by pulling herself together, that and the fact that Robert seems to be a very empathetic person. People who are warm and kind will try to comfort hurt. But thank goodness she didn’t have a total meltdown and go on and on. He seems like a really nice guy.
Whatever, she ruined everything! You don't tell a date the grossest most embarrassing details about yourself! I feel bad bc she obviously has some mental issues, possibly on the spectrum or whatever, and obviously doesn't know any better. This kind of brutal honesty, while refreshing, is so cringey, I could barely take it. She needs a man on her level and I think she can find one if she stops trying to get young, hot guys who will use her. We all want attractive partners but we also know, or should know, how attractive we are ourselves and usually pursue people in our own league, usually. Theres nothing wrong with confidence but be realistic too.

Wow he is so kind and seems so compassionate. He would be so good for Danielle! He's in her league, and seems geniuely interested in her, and he seems very patient with her which is what she needs. I'm happy that she pulled herself together after her small episode. I really hope Danielle is successful with this one, but my concerns are like yours that she will keep bringing up Mohamed. Danielle sadly believes in her mind that Mohamed actually had feelings for her at one time, but in my opinion he never did. I think once she can realize that, maybe the better she can move on and stop making that her whole focus everytime.
Absolutely. The best way to move on is to accept situations for what they are. It's ok that he didn't love her, majority of us have fallen for people where the feelings weren't always mutual. It happens. It's not that serious. You just move on lol

I actually prefer when a person telll about themselves in a deeper way because then you actually GET TO KNOW THE PERSON, instead of the western "date gaming" where you pretend to be perfect from the beginning which is never the case. And if you open up then like in this case , the other person feels he or she can open up to. And it also put the test on him to see if he is willing to get to know you , both your good and bad sides and not only play it perfect in the beginning.
Yes. Everyone is so fake and phony and positive....then you get to know them and yikes. She shouldn't have mentioned the smell issue....but she is obviously not over being hurt. Maybe mentioned she is divorced and is taking dating slow...and that's fine to mention. Lots of people don't want to hear about the hurt, but I'm really interested in what makes people tick, so if a guy started telling me about his ex, I'd try to listen patiently.
