Funnily enough, although we used to wear hats to mass, it was actually my mother’s lace head coverings I loved the most, probably because it seemed more special because she never wore them anywhere else, unlike the hats. Funny how children’s minds work.

It is unsettling that she felt the need to provide an explanation for liking melania's fashion, especially when no explanation was given while discussing the fashion choices of the Bidens. I am tired of people acting as though it's inappropriate or taboo to appreciate or support the Trumps. It shouldn't be that way. Many people voted for Trump, and dismissing that support feels like a disregard for the voices of those voters.
Melania is always Classical Elegance. She is a no fuss dresser. Beautiful ! 2nd lady is also a gorgeous dresser with a focus on textures. So lovely! Am less of a fan of fussy dresser Ivanka. And same with Tiffany., I just prefer simplicity with wonderful colours and fabric. Style over fuss anytime.

I thought they made a beautiful contrast: Mrs Trump in a very powerful feminine look, Mrs Vance in a very soft feminine look. Love the hat and the very restrained elegance and her posture is always perfect. Both looked great, though I’d have chosen smooth leather, not more-casual suede, for the boots. Photos don’t do that blue ball dress justice. Videos show off the crystals. I didn’t think Harris’ suit was terrible but she’s too short to pull it off and it made her look dumpy and boxy and she isn’t. Maybe in the past few weeks she’s gained a bit so her fitted Chloe suits didn’t work? She also looks her best in lighter colors. Mrs Biden looked the very best she has in four years and the violet color head-to-toe was gorgeous on her. Yes, a clutch or handbag would have been more suitable as a shoulder bag is too casual.

I also loved Mrs Vance’s light pink ensemble, along with the FLOTUS’s dark navy dress and hat. I also interpret her choice of wearing the hat was to prevent so many people reading the emotions in her eyes (I feel like she’s had that issue in the past and isn’t too comfortable with people reading her emotions so easily, whether it be accurate or inaccurate). The ensemble Jill wore was definitely one of her better ones. Actually really liked the vibrant blue color. 💙 And I totally agree about Kamala’s pantsuit. I think lighter tones look much better on her. There was one pantsuit she wore at one point during her campaign that was a light blue (almost like an offshoot of Robin’s Egg blue) that looked really good. ❤️🤍💙

Her expressions convey that she admires and respects her husband’s role and this momentous historical moment. It is what hard-working young American families want and need. She inspires hope, especially with including her young children. That couple represents the sincerity of the Kennedy era that captured the youthful families of that more innocent era.

An outfit doesn't make an individual classy- that must originate from within. Many will find it difficult to get past the particularly raunchy photo spread her husband arranged for her to introduce herself to the country in over a decade ago. The ensemble Jill wore was definitely one of her better ones. Actually really liked the vibrant blue color. 💙 And I totally agree about Kamala’s pantsuit. I think lighter tones look much better on her.
