Excellent. My second day in After Effects but I have been in Premier a lot. Instead of using this for a transition. I used the last two beats of my short clip with -16x my original center number to get the last 2 beats of my video to wip pan into the new start of the video on repeat. Exactly what I wanted to do. And the mirror edges was huge. Thank you.
It sure can be trimmed down, but exporting just an adjustment layer is not possible, you can just add the project that contains the adjustment layer, then copy paste it to the needed sequence timeline
@@SmertimbaGraphics Yep, thank you. I watched another video that suggested that. I was after some more handy solution. I tried it with some clips from a Premiere timeline, longer clips than the ones used to create the effect in AE, and it needs some tweaking when I go back to Premiere. It's a little bit cumbersome, but the effect is so smooth I guess it is worth it. Thank you, SmertimbaGraphics!
Sorry about that, it's one of the older tutorials, back then I didn't really make it beginner friendly, try some of the recent transition tutorials instead 😁
Quickest and Simplest way I could come up with for a whip pan transition that actually Looks Good, you know what I mean. 😁

Great to hear! Whip pans are so flexible, you can do literally anything with them in terms of the direction, cycles etc.

Thanks! Could the adjustment layer be trimmed (to the area of the effect) - exported and used in any NLE above two clips?

@@SmertimbaGraphics Thanks - in Premiere I'm sure - was hoping it was something I could bring into Avid.
Thank you vai for small video ?
Can this be exported to Premiere Pro somehow?
You can use dynamic link in premiere and edit transitions in after effects

Yeah I get you, well glad you were able to figure it out, enjoy the transitions💯
As a beginner I couldn’t follow along with the video. You talk way to fast and I don’t know all the keyboard shortcuts for things like trim and align.
