IN-CASE YOU'RE INTERESTED: Hey guys, the voice actor of HandUnit from FNAF: Sister Location (Andy Field) recently contacted me to say he is doing a live-stream tomorrow on the FNAF Facebook page at 10:30 Central (16:30 GMT) - I know you guys liked my Sister Location series and I also thought this was something really cool!!
Basically the story is that over 1000 years ago, The precursors captured a Sea Dragon Leviathan to study it but it broke out and the carar was spread across the planet. To stop it being spread to other planets the precursors created the ground to air weapon system to shoot down any ship trying to enter or exit. The Sea Dragon then started to catch Reaper Leviathans to eat (which explains the skeletons in the inactive lava zone) and soon the Degasi passed over the planet but the precursors thought it was trying to land so it got shot down. Eventually the survivors made a base in the lost river but they were attacked and killed by the Sea Dragon. Soon The precursors discovered the Sea Emperor could produce some sort of medicine but because the last surviving sea emperor was too old and pregnant it could not. The Sea Emperor eggs were soon created and put into hibernation and one by one the precursors died out due to the carar but the sea emperor was immune so she was left in the deisese lab. Soon the Aurora came to the planet to recover the Degasi but it was shot down and life pods were launched but one by one the life pods were destroyed by creatures. Soon the player discovers the G.U.N and tries to deactivate it but because he is infected he cannot. The sunbeam comes to rescue him but it is destroyed by the G.U.N. The player soon discovers the sea emperor (empress) and hatches her eggs. He then uses the baby sea emperors to cure himself. The emperor is then freed. The baby's follow the emperor through the teleporter. As of then Adult sea emperors will spawn and will be peaceful. The player will then disable the G.U.N and build a rocket and leave.
CreeperCraftJPJ have you heard of the cache? some precursors have downloaded themselves into an area in order to protect themselves from charar. I'm thinking that you can download one of and they will tell you how to make the cure and help you create a rocket to get off the planet
Little error. The Aurora was a colony ship going to colonize a planet and was going to use the planet to slingshot themselves closer to the planet they were planning on colonizing, the G.U.N thought they were attempting to land on the planet so the Aurora was shot down.
You should put another multipurpose room above the one with the aquarium, if you place an aquarium in the new room above it, it will connect and be twice as big
Love watching Ryan play. He tries his best to do everything he can in the series. Building, exploring, checking new updates when there is enough to make a video on, collecting the eggs, building an aquarium and so forth.
Ryan, if you take one of the koosh zone eggs (not the shocker one) you can put them outside and they will grow normal size and they will guard your base, BTW, the better thing to put in the bioreactor are the Sea Treaders Manure, hope you read this.
Hey Ryan! I'm a big fan of your videos, and I just wanted to say, I'm down for this idea of alternating episodes! Also, a tip: try feeding a Peeper to a Stalker sometime! It'll show its gratitude by bringing you salvage and maybe some other stuff! But it only works for a little while; then it goes back to chomping your face. Anyway, that's all for now. The character actually does do all those things. When you blink in real life, the place goes dark for not even 1 millisecond, so technically he/she should be blinking. Also for the decomposing your foods, you need a stillsuit, and from time to time, you will collect your pee, and is drinkable. Yes, *DRINKABLE*.
Hey Ryan you might want to update your Subnautica playlist since there's only 22 episodes in it :P Also here are some tips: 1. You should probably start putting down Foundations first so you're less likely to get the environment glitching through your base lol. 2. You can put an Interior Growbed in your Cyclops. So if you make the big one and plant a few Lantern Tree's in it then you pretty much have an endless supply of food and water...although they're still not as good as Marblemelon. 3. You can also currently put a Power Cell Charger on your Cyclops too. I know it sounds a bit counterproductive but even though it might be patched in the future, it works sooo...Yeah. Pretty much a never ending energy source...until they patch it anyway. 4. You should probably upgrade your air tank and change your dive suit. You don't really need the Radiation Suit anymore unless you're screwing around with a Nuclear Reactor so a *Rebreather, Reinforced Dive Suit, Swim Charge Fins/Ultra Glide Fins* and a bunch of *stacked High Capacity Air Tanks* would be pretty useful. Especially the air tanks. There's a screenshot on the High Capacity Air Tank's wiki where someone stacked enough of them that their oxygen level is now 735.
NightStar787 about the cyclops, with the power cell charger think about it, your charging power cells with the cyclops then your your using those same power cells to give the cyclops power. wierd
A nasty little trick you can use is build some planters in the reactor room, plant some random stuff, and harvest whenever you run low on power...you'll always have fuel for your reactor that way ;)
hey ryan! jtlyk, the creatures that hatch in the alien contaiment wont grow to their original size until you release them back into the ocean. and best part is that they wont attack you, so you can scan them easily!. the eggs are usually the difficult to scan/dangerous ones. luckily they're friendly so long as they're in the container. oh yeah! if you build more multi purpose rooms above or below that room, you can stack up and automatically link up the alien containments to form one long tank within the vertical rooms!

You don't need to add plants to feed the fish, but it looks nice :-). 3. I feel like the alien containments look best when they're stacked 2-3 stories high (especially if you're growing creep vine or blood kelp).
Hey Ryan, just a tip for base building...START WITH A FOUNDATION UNDERNEATH! The structural integrity of your base is abysmal, it should not be having problems at that depth, even with those glass walkways.
8-BitRyan - If you put small fish, like the ones that you can eat, in the bioreactor it runs for a really long time. So I definitely recommend throwing at least 4 Peepers or Bladder fish in there while you're at it!!
I think that's a good idea. Doing 1 exploration video then a separate video on building the base. I hope we all feel the same way because it feels that it makes sense.
I can not wait for the next part of this series I enjoy it a lot, it is really funny but at that it also pretty scary but otherwise when you started with the modifications of the base maybe you should create a small garden where you could grow something to eat and if you remember that the seeds for the flowers to eat were on one of the islands in those damaged bases and I believe that it soon might toss

I usually just put an indoor grow bed next to the bioreactor and grow potatoes to feed to it. They give a good amount of power, and grow relatively fast as well.
Ryan if you build a multipurpose room on top of the one with the alien containment unit you can expand it by building a second alien containment on top
first off i love playing this game and u should def install power cell charger on ur sub and make grow beds in the sub and ur base and then u can grow melon and lantern trees and potatoes. and u can charge all those batteries with a battery charger. u should also make a trash bin then u can just toss things. the coffee and vending machine now works and u can spawn the larger creatures along with a cute fish that u can have with u.
Biological matter is in fact biomatter, Ryan. You are correct. Purple shark thing is a Stalker. They bite your Seamoth and leave you teeth for their fruitless endeavor. Feed them a Peeper and they bring you scrap/salvage.
Ryan if you get multiple multi purpose rooms on top of each other and put containment chambers in each you can get a bigger aquarium for your creatures
Just a tip: If you put another room on top of the alien containment room and put another alien containment thing in the top room, they fuse into a taller tank!
If you catch a fish with your hands, you can drop the fish in the alien confinement tank and they will swim around. If there is two of the same fish more will spawn in the tank. So it can be used as a farm too.
Ryan you can build multipurpose rooms on top of your rooms so you don't have to keep going out, you can stack. also you don't have to build those I compartments everytime you can just build a room next to a room and they autoconnect
Hey Ryan not sure if you already know this but you can make your aquarium bigger by building another multipurpose room right above the first one and building another aquarium in it. The two aquariums will combine into one tall one.
Ryan, the ray you got in the alien containment is not a ghostray. It's a jellyray. You should scan it. and also, you put a stalker in with a bunch of herbivores. you might lose the jellyray if you're not careful.
omg someone FINALLY TOOK MY IDEA FOR A EGGcavating episode of subnautica, ive been trying to get mark and jack to do one like this, they are so much fun my favorite are the stalkers and the jellyrays, even rabbit rays and bone sharks are so cute!!! ps you are so funny, i like to make a elevator out of the alien containment tanks. SO MUCH FUN! You can also get a reefback egg but those are difficult to find you can plant clusters from the creep vines and other plantable underwater plants in the container

You can place 2 containment chambers if you have 2 rooms up on each other - almost every creature have eggs but they dont grow too much so dont worry (even reefback) - you dont have to feed em planting plants is just for decoration - there are limit that chamber can hold...
Hey Ryan now that you have a bioreactor you should make growbeds in the same room then go to the island to grab the fruit from the trees at the base there. Plant those fruit I. The growbed and you will have infinite bioreactor fuel and food to eat, might make things a lot easier for you

Hey Ryan not sure if you already know this but you can make your aquarium bigger by building another multipurpose room right above the first one and building another aquarium in it. The two aquariums will combine into one tall one.
Ryan, the ray you got in the alien containment is not a ghostray. It's a jellyray. You should scan it. and also, you put a stalker in with a bunch of herbivores. you might lose the jellyray if you're not careful.

omg someone FINALLY TOOK MY IDEA FOR A EGGcavating episode of subnautica, ive been trying to get mark and jack to do one like this, they are so much fun my favorite are the stalkers and the jellyrays, even rabbit rays and bone sharks are so cute!!!
ps you are so funny, i like to make a elevator out of the alien containment tanks. SO MUCH FUN! You can also get a reefback egg but those are difficult to find you can plant clusters from the creep vines and other plantable underwater plants in the container

Ryan, you can eat the creepvines for emergency food. They provide a small amount of water as well.
Ryan, if you collect the spores from the creepvines and plant them, they will have more that will also GLOW.

ryan you dont only have to use plants for the bioreactor XD you can also use animal (kill all of the bladderfish). Alos, I love your videos. Ive been there since the first couple days and love your enthusiasm thank you dude thank you :D
Get the grow bed, get the seeds off the creep vines, plant the fruit, then use the fruit off the grow bed plant to use as food and for the bioreactor
ohhh damn! it's awesome that u can now have ur own baby creature. I hope u can use the creature as pets like sidekicks so they can protect and help u from danger creatures...
You can place 2 containment chambers if you have 2 rooms up on each other - almost every creature have eggs but they dont grow too much so dont worry (even reefback) - you dont have to feed em planting plants is just for decoration - there are limit that chamber can hold...
Ryan, try building a planter near the bio reactor and placing lantern fruits in them, lantern fruit are supposably a good fuel for the bioreactor

Hey Ryan now that you have a bioreactor you should make growbeds in the same room then go to the island to grab the fruit from the trees at the base there. Plant those fruit I. The growbed and you will have infinite bioreactor fuel and food to eat, might make things a lot easier for you
Ryan, you can also put fish and other smaller creatures to the bio-reactor, bit morbid but you'll get power so there is that. :)

Ryan, the fish which drink your blood (ye sit drinks blood) was a bleeder these guy are from the "bad guys" and they has been added to the game in dev update 7 (or may be 8) but shearch that in youtube and you will found it
