They have a few with piano, but this is the one you really NEED to see...lol It is Miyako shedding piano, then the lights go out, and she magically appears shredding on the guitar a few seconds later. They have Miyako's piano riffs (if that's what you call it) played from a backing track, that fits perfectly into the song, once she is back on the guitar. Miyako has played piano since age 3. As you probably know, Asami has formal ballet training. It really shows here with all her sweeping arm movements. She is just so elegant. I always get chills at 6:02 when she flips the upper lace layers of her dress in the air, caught with some very special lighting effects, then they overlay her on top of the video as she hits her high range. Ad intro: Usually, Miyako would play the piano, but she was busy creating this thick sound together with Midori and Miho (and Haruna). Asami has played the piano on three songs yet: - Today Is The Day - We The United - Lost In The Garden Just some simple chords, but in all 3 cases, it was awesome!
Yeah, LOVEBITES are gonna induce head-spins, and hiccups, and goosebumps... all type of involuntary organism reactions! x) This song is steadily growing on me, and it is almost scary, since it comes from an album ("Electric Pentagram") of 12 songs, that was great, with astounding peaks, from the get-go, but is turning out to be awesome in its totality! I was just trying to think of another entire 70 minutes of music that would be so continuously rewarding, inspiring and just plain puzzling in how awesome a group of musicians can be... can't pinpoint it it. Not unless we count in the Classical, like Beethoven's 9th Symphony, or Mahler's 2nd. To bring the endearing human warmth to the musical masterclass, Asami's conquest of the piano never fails to bring a smile: her smile could make a stone respond, for one, but it is also that almost mischievous way she goes about it, as if saying, "Yes, I can play that too, my sis Miyako owns this piano, but I sneaked in while she was busy on those solos!" So much fun. :))) Seriously though, if, as you seemed to mention, you have not yet seen Miyako the concert pianist and arranger play her first instrument... there's homework! Start with "Frozen Serenade" and "Swan Song (feat. Chopin intro)", of course. But proceed through "Empty Daydream" and "Lost in the Garden", which actually let you experience various facets of Miyako's playing, and her multiple talents. And while we are on the subject of keys - try "Spellbound" for a full blast of good "old" vibes! Cheers!
