I know your account has been abandoned it seems and you likely won’t see this, but if you’re still collecting wax, I hope you don’t feel too bad about it. At the core of it all, it’s something that makes you happy and it has so much more value than when it’s melted. It’s pretty and it smells good as is, and it’s a symbol of your support to all these small businesses!
This video is 7 years old and it’s still one of my favorite videos to watch. Your collection is beautiful but I can get how anxiety provoking it is. How does your collection look now?
Yes! Me too - I get obsessed with different things & currently am on wax & quilt patterns on Pinterest. I've done the same - I share with others so they can try more scents out & I can move through my wax!!
Great collection! I only hot dump. I get these cute plastic pastel round buckets, I carry it around and dump my wax into it and then use it as an outdoor candle.
I hate hot dumping, I have no idea how you like that method so much, LOL! Although dragging the wax bowls around the house into and out of the kitchen is not really that much easier either!
Whoa! That's a lot of wax! My favorite part was when you pulled out the shelve with all the rows and rows of bakers bags, that was great! see you in your next video :-)
That buffet is beautiful, just looking at it is awesome! And the roller drawers are nice too. Nice collection of course lol. Cannot lie, I am really jealous of your Rose Girls collection lol
I was able to "crack the code" last year. It's simple. Cut back on Facebook. Leave the wax pages and vendor pages or, if you can, just leave Facebook. The less you know about who is opening or having a sale the faster you'll get through your collection. Just make sure that you have the email addresses of your favorite vendors and when you do need to buy email them or just visit the site if they are open frequently. I've saved money and used up all my wax after 2 years of buying.
It sounds like you got it down! I am still in all of the FB groups, but I am getting better at not buying when I see openings. I even managed to pass up a few flash sales I was on FB for! Whenever I want to buy I just try to think of the great scents I already have. I have been successful at buying smaller amounts though when I have ordered from a few vendors recently!
Sounds good :) I also forgot to mention another way I was able to crack the code, I live vicariously through your video hauls and other youtubers wax hauls LOL. So, just know you are helping me ease my wax craze.
Yes this works.. Ive done that and then realised how much of my feed /emails was cluttered with promo emails. Then i realised how much of my time i had spent browsing stores and spending money. All of a sudden I had nothing else to do. Sad but true :/
That's an amazingly large wax collection! Sounds like you have some very good scents. I just got into wax melting about 5 months ago. I love your wax Buffett cabinet, it's very beautiful.
Loving your buffet! WOW! The sliders are Ah-Mazing!!! If you ever start to feel really overwhelmed, you could put together a hell of an item for the Jillaxin auction!
Oh I totally forgot, today is the last day for donations I think? I did donate the last time, but I get really freaked out when people are paying money for stuff I send out, I get worried that they will be disappointed. Maybe I should just get over it and get a box together this weekend….
My Random Favorite Things Ha Ha! Yeah, get over it! ;). Honestly, all you have to say is "a 3 pound box of fruity scents from various vendors".... Just an example. Oh, and she'll take late donations.
Regarding getting softer wax out of the burner....I've discovered that if you use a butter knife, and 'stab' it right in the middle of the frozen wax pool, it will crack it, and then it will pop right out like usual. I don't have any Glitterati, but I have the same problem with Tiffany's chunklets in my Glade warmer. PS...miss seeing your videos!
Wax heaven!! Cotton balls work great to soak up the wax. Try it in your bathroom first so you can see if that works well for you. I like the freezer method better just like you do but the cotton balls really do work great so give that a try if you haven't done so already!! Happy Melting Love💜
I just love your wax buffet, it's amazing! I also love your owl PJs. My Wonder Woman jammies accidentally made an appearance in one of my latest videos, so I noticed yours right away. ;) If you're feeling overwhelmed by the amount of wax and orders, it'd be fun to see you do a project wax where you have to melt through a certain amount of wax before you can order new wax. :)
I did not know my knee was in the shots until I saw your comment, LOL! I got these PJ pants at Kmart, I love them! And I think I want to melt through enough to get rid of all of the larger plastic containers downstairs before I order a lot again. I have still been placing smaller orders….I can't stop!
commenting again lol. i usually get my gliterrati wax out w the freezer method. also i rec maybe organizing your wax from oldest to newest. put things in boxes by dates. and then try to get through the oldest boxes.and not melt anything new. i had to stop buying cause i was diagnosed as bipolar ii and when i was hypomanic i would buy ABSURDLY. lmao. so i feel you. it's so freaking hard. good luck!
Hi! I'm new to your channel and I love it! I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere but when you repackage your wax, what type of bags do you use and where do you get them? Thanks!!
Last comment promise but maybe every three months you should go through your collection and store things that are older in the front or top of bins and with your various tinier plastic closely containers maybe put all the oldest wax in one bin and put that bin on the top for example put all your oldest beezys in one bin and work your way up chronologically but of course sticking with the vendor theme. Just try to keep your oldest wax more visible so especially when you're lazy it's what you automatically go for if you don't want to search
I do go through my wax every two weeks and pull out what I am going to melt downstairs….cause I know what you mean, I am too lazy to go through the bins on a regular day. I keep one small bin on the counter stuffed with my next melts!
Great wax collection...thanks for sharing...and thanks for the advice; I hope to melt through my little collection & stop buying every time there's an opening/sale. I usually go on a wax-ban May-Oct...summer heat in S. TX isn't good for wax...otherwise, I'd be buying wax year-round - LOL!
I am hoping to not buy that much in the summer, I was able to buy less last summer since I did not want the wax shipped in the heat. I just need to find all my fruity scents and stay strong that I do not need any more!
I totally get the whole going overboard when getting involved with something new / obsession.. Everytime!! Lush and other similar companies, incense, candles, makeup, plants, nailpolish, etc etc.. sigh. :) The latest for me is succulents and terrariums.
Honestly, I'm afraid you just got me into a new obsession. I love candles and scented candles and we actually have a burner at home, but we used to put essential oil mixed with water to scent the room. I remember my mom once got wax and there wasn't any wick and we were super confused what to do with it. ;D I wanted to ask you if you know where could I purchase a wax burner? I mean a nice unique one, not just plain white. (I would also like to buy one for a friend for her birthday, I think it would be a great present. :)) I was also wondering if you're going to do any more tea videos? That's actually how I found your channel. :)
404-equivalent I am still drinking tea and I was going to do a video on my new tea maker. There are some nice burners on Amazon, Pier 1, and Scentsy does some nice ones as well (although I do not like bulb warmers as much).
Awesome collection! I think...eventually.....it just has to click in your head to stop buying. Lol. It had to happen with me, especially when I looked at how much I spent. But really? I just became obsessed with something else (BPAL perfumes) and don't buy as much wax as I did a year-ish ago. L O L. So? Uh? I'm just trading one thing for another - at least the perfumes take up less space. But omg sometimes I am so, so tempted to hit up wax opening from places I love and I have to keep telling myself: Self, you have to melt through everything you have before you can buy ANYTHING else. (and I've been pretty good about it lately. I bought like one time from a company this winter and that's been it. A+ to me. Even though I've bought lots of perfumes. Lmao.) But let's be real, now that Rosegirls is gonna start doing small wax chunks...I'm in troubleeeeeeee.
I have not heard of BPAL perfumes before, sounds interesting! And I know what you mean about trading one thing for another, that is exactly what I do all the time.
I know you don't wanna take the risk but if you do spill hot wax on carpet just wait for it to dry and put a piece of paper on top then take a clothes iron and without turning on the steam iron the paper and it will soak up the oil. Or just put a paper towel in the hot wax and let it soak it up then wipe it down after
I love collecting Wax melts and 🕯I have a lot as well!🤗
Great Video!!💗🦋

Totally drooling!! And girly you dont have to justify what youre spending your money on! Its your hobby and its awesome!!!
I have been branching out into some other hobbies recently, so I am feeling more balanced with the wax hobby, hopefully I will be able to buy less!
This video is 7 years old and it’s still one of my favorite videos to watch. Your collection is beautiful but I can get how anxiety provoking it is. How does your collection look now?
Update for 2018? :)
I haven't started the video yet but I'm so excited I love you wax collection videos so much. Ahh fourty minutes of waxy goodness I'm ready
Oh me too!! Me too!! *runs to make a cuppa ☕ red velvet cake * Let the awesomeness begin!!
Sorry for it being such a long video, I thought I could get it filmed in a shorter period this time around!

I'm new to wax and my collection has exploded too! I'm just like you-I go all in for my new obsessions haha. 😂 Loved the video!
Love, love, love your collection & love watching your hauls..
Janine Timmins thank you for the kind words! Wax is so so much fun, LOL!
Love the storage for your wax collection..I plan on filming a wax collection/storage video today
Jennifer Buratti what is your channel? I am not sure if I am subbed, but I would love to watch!
Whoa! That's a lot of wax! My favorite part was when you pulled out the shelve with all the rows and rows of bakers bags, that was great! see you in your next video :-)
I love those shelves! That is my favorite part of the entire collection!
That buffet is beautiful, just looking at it is awesome! And the roller drawers are nice too. Nice collection of course lol. Cannot lie, I am really jealous of your Rose Girls collection lol
I really lucked out with that buffet piece, I really love it!
Wow amazing collection!!! Loved this video! Please keep doing them. :-)
Thank you! I have more videos to film this weekend too…I am too lazy right now, LOL!
Awesome collection, love the containers you keep them in. I just started melting wax instead of using candles.
thanks for sharing! Awesome collection. I need to use up what I have.
Sometimes I feel so much pressure to melt as much as I can as fast as I can…wax stress, LOL!

I would love to have even one box from your collection. It all looks great! You definitely expanded my wax love. :)
There are so many great vendors out there I have not even tried yet….the wax love goes on and on, LOL!
Love your collection! Really enjoy your videos 😄
Katys Kandles thank you! This video took awhile to film, but at least it made my organize my stash a little!
Great collection! You could use the silicone cupcake liners, then you can peel the liner off and toss the wax! Good luck! Love your video's!
That is a great idea, and I have some of those already! Oh, I am intrigued now!
That's an amazingly large wax collection! Sounds like you have some very good scents. I just got into wax melting about 5 months ago. I love your wax Buffett cabinet, it's very beautiful.
Mags & Rob Little thank you, welcome to the addiction! It can get out of control very easily!
I love what you said in the beginning, if people don't like it don't watch. I myself love these haul videos. ;)
Rachel Smith I never understand why people watch videos they hate, LOL!

I will definitely donate, but I might opt for just a cash donation instead of a box. Either way, I want to help out!
:). You're a sweetie!
I love your collection!
out of all your wax which is your favourite I'm so jealous of your stock your so lucky
I guess im NOT as addicted as i thought i was.. I have 1 Drawer with all my wax collection. Thank you for the video it was very nice to see.
Kathie Hamerik I am glad you enjoyed the video…definitely NOT a good idea to accumulate this much wax!
A big hint Ive learned is to rebag all wax in zip bags so the air doesnt get to your wax it will preserve it longer. Just a tip
I do have a lot of PP zip bags, but that would be a lot of rebagging!
Great video! Haha I feel like I need a nap now!
Paulette Shunk-Clever I took a nap after I filmed this video, I was winded at the end!
Thanks for sharing! I love your collection! Amazing!
It was so fun to film this video too, I found some wax that I had for so long!
Regarding getting softer wax out of the burner....I've discovered that if you use a butter knife, and 'stab' it right in the middle of the frozen wax pool, it will crack it, and then it will pop right out like usual. Love your collection!!
Thank you, it has been fun to collect this much! And even more fun to melt, LOL!
I would like to see your collection now
Where did you get those super cute containers in your entry cabinet?? They are adorable!
I got them at Michaels. I think they were a couple of bucks each….and I love the fun designs!
Cotton pads into the melted wax - works really well to get it all out
Katie Donaldson I will have to try that, thank you!
I just love your wax buffet, it's amazing! I also love your owl PJs. great collection by the way!! I love how you have it set up. ;-)
Thanks, I need to go through and reorganize a little again too. It is so much work to reorganize the stash!
My Random Favorite Things I'm working on my wax "closet" and man it's overwhelming!!
commenting again lol. i usually get my gliterrati wax out w the freezer method. also i rec maybe organizing your wax from oldest to newest. put things in boxes by dates. and then try to get through the oldest boxes.and not melt anything new. i had to stop buying cause i was diagnosed as bipolar ii and when i was hypomanic i would buy ABSURDLY. lmao. so i feel you. it's so freaking hard. good luck!
I am going to have to try the freezer method again with Glitterati, I did not have much luck before but maybe I need to leave it in there longer.
Ohmygosh. 15 Rosegirls pies? I want some haha. I so wish I had some of these companies!
And Glitterati?! I actually haven't tried it but I've heard it's pure gold. I wish the good stuff wasn't so hard to get a hold of!
When you figure that code out of not spending a ton on wax, let me know! 5 years later and I still buy weekly.
LOL, I may never figure it out, but hopefully I can buy less each time, that is my current goal!
Hi! I'm new to your channel and I love it! I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere but when you repackage your wax, what type of bags do you use and where do you get them? Thanks!!
Hope you're doing well. Missing your videos 😕

Yeah, I have a bit of a wax shopping addiction, LOL!

Awesome video loved it, use cotton ball for your glitterati.
I will try that for sure!
Are the places you mentioned in this video etsy shops?
Oh my gosh you sound exactly like TaraBabyz!! Is that your other channel?
I totally get the whole going overboard when getting involved with something new / obsession.. Everytime!! Lush and other similar companies, incense, candles, makeup, plants, nailpolish, etc etc.. sigh. :) The latest for me is succulents and terrariums.
NatSoSassy OMG I love succulents too! I have a lot of them in pots in my backyard…another obsession of mine!
My Random Favorite Things yes! I found your succulent video after this one! I'm so jealous lol
Honestly, I'm afraid you just got me into a new obsession. Thanks for your help! :)
Do you have a wax warmer collection video?
videotapeses I do not…my warmers are not very exciting, I do not collect seasonal warmers or anything like that. Just plain hotplates!
Awesome, just watched your more recent all about wax tutorial. I have just subbed to you also, looking fed to more vids. Mel
Your so lucky!! I am jealous! 😍
This is too much wax for sure, LOL!
Awesome collection! I think...eventually.....it just has to click in your head to stop buying. Lol. It had to happen with me, especially when I looked at how much I spent. But really? I thought I had a lot of wax lol wow! i bet your house smells amazing :)
Holy moly that's a lot of wax! I want to come smell lol
Allison Green I somehow accumulated so so much! I am melting like a fool!
OMG i want to so be you when i grow up !! Lol wow ; 0)
Sherri Kendrick LOL! :-)
I can help you get rid of some of that wax. 😉💛
my place is available, just saying.
