EQ Download Link and Import Instructions - (Must Have Version 2.4.1 or Newer)
1. In Filter Curve EQ or Graphic EQ" click the Manage button
2. From the dropdown menu click Import...
3. Select your Josh Meyer EQ TXT file and click on Open
(Your curve will then be imported and will be ready for use.)
4. Click Manage
5. Click Save
6. Save as Josh Meyer's Male EQ

-Install a plugin
Windows-
To Install a plugin you'll need to double click your hard drive *Windows (C:)*,
double click program files (x86), double click Audacity, double click Plugins,
then click drag and drop the plugin into the plugin folder.
When you reopen audacity, go to effects and select add/remove plugins. Find the desired Plugin,
click to highlight, click enable, then click OK :)- You will be able to find it in Effects.
Mac-
Click drag and drop the plugin into Audacity's "Plug-Ins" folder at ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/Plug-Ins.

Switch to the Finder. Click on the Go Menu.
Press and hold down the Option key on the keyboard.
From the Go menu, select Library, The Library folder will open.
Click Application Support, then audacity, then Plug-Ins.Drop the plugin into the folder.

click to highlight, click enable, then click OK.

Thank you for the free lesson. As a podcaster, I've always exported my final edit as a wav because I thought I needed to preserve the maximum quality possible for uploading to the distribution company. However, I knew they change it to an mp3 anyway! So after this lesson, it appears I might be better off using a high quality bitrate mp3 export and thereby saving time on the upload, plus, not losing any quality on the initial export. Thank you so much.

I like your credentials in the beginning. Anyone that has searched for audacity tutorials knows that there are people that put up tutorials that obviously don't know what their doing. Especially given the end of the dislike button it is important to let people know why they should trust you.

Hey Eduardo! No, that isn’t typical. I’m not exactly sure why you’re having that issue. I’d try closing audacity and reopening. Possibly even reinstalling
