Why can't I select where i want to save the mp3 file? My copy gives no preference for the Save to location, It wants to save only to \Documents\Audacity folder. Thank you.
I use Windows Audacity v3.4.1 Some of the GUI are different from yours. For example, when I go File|Export Audio my next screen does not open up MP3 but instead it is "Export Audio" screen. After I press OK, it does not pop up the Meta Data screen. Instead I need to click on Meta Data button to open it.

Hi Pog, it's probably because of Windows Defender/Security incase you use it. That usually blocks the access to export the file from Audacity which you need to enable first.

I have recorded in Mono but my inserts and outro music is in Stereo. Can I have everything saved in Mono without losing the integrity of the file. What do you suggest it be saved as in the Channel Mode? Help appreciated.
Hi there! You can certainly mix mono and stereo tracks in Audacity. However, if you export your project as mono, the stereo tracks will be downmixed to mono. This might slightly change the sound of your stereo tracks. If the stereo effect is not crucial for your inserts and outro music, you can safely export everything in mono. Bro you just helped me so much, you have no idea... .. question: what if you saved your recording the wrong way (i.e. Saved without export) to your external drive, is there a way to re-export it as mp3, then save again on external drive? .

@@louisewatson3129 Messenger has a limit of 25 MB max, while on Telegram, you can attach files up to 2 GB. It's good to know you've found Telegram as your go-to for audio attachments. If you have a bunch of music tracks, how to you select where to start and stop the export? How do you remove a bunch of silence from the beginning when you have lots of tracks?
6 minutes per hour of voice audio for mp3 exporting. I can run my cpu quite a bit higher. Can I set audacity to use more cpu and export faster? And if so can I set that as a preset?
well here's answer mate, u just need a video editing program for it, example u just put the sound there, put image to video, bla bla, sorry i am not a youtuber i don't know too much,

Hi, Latoya! MP3 is good for voiceover, but of course, you can always go with WAV. It has higher quality, but it also has a large file size
